I don't live in Ione anymore but it was so bad I used to drive there until the pharmacy changed hands. I started coming back here and it's a little bit better but once again I just waited in line for 15 minutes after their automated system said it was ready and then was told it's not ready and it would take a half hour. So now I have to drive home and come back a second time which this has to be at least the 8th time this has happened. Unfortunately there's not a lot of better options in the amador county

This could be better if they ever answered their phones.

This new location is much smaller than it's previous spot - but it's still a fantastic pharmacy with efficient and kind staff. I'm always impressed with how on point everyone is here. They're great at filling prescriptions and will do their best to find more affordable generic prescriptions as needed. I'm also a fan of their growing holistic selection here - including essential oil infused epsom bath salts here and other self care items. For such a small store - they do a fantastic job of keeping their basic key items well organized, while still sprinkling the store with fun finds. Thank you Twain Harte Pharmacy for helping keep the community healthy! Trust
