Krista rocked them both with true grace, creativity and professionalism. Krista has a superb eye for detail and knows how to frame her subjects from interesting perspectives. She is also hilarious to be around - which is a bonus. When I was in front of her lens Krista made me feel at ease and we basically had a giggle-fest during the shoot - which was great because I really don't like having my picture taken, but she made the process easy and fun and I felt like myself during the whole shoot. Krista is also awesome because she has great advice about how to sit or stand to look your best when being photographed. She brings out the best in her subjects - which was something I got to witness again when I had the pleasure of watching Krista work with our bride and groom models during our styled shoot. Krista is super organized, she writes a great blog, she is constantly learning and evolving her craft, she loves sparkles as much as (or possibly more) than I do, she understands the importance of sticking to a timeline, she takes amazing photographs, she is super responsive via phone, text, and email, and all around I can't say enough great things about this lady. I hope you get in touch with her if you've got some big moments that need capturing - Krista is fantastic!!

Upon our first meeting with Kristen, we knew she would be perfect to photograph our wedding and it was the best decision we made!! There are many details that go into planning a wedding, but for me, photography was the most important. Prior to our wedding, Kristen photographed our engagement session and the pictures turned out amazing!! My fiance and I had no idea how to pose for photos, but Kristen quickly made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun during the shoot. I could not believe how great the pictures turned out. My favorite things about Kristen's photography are the way she uses natural lighting and the way she captured our personalities in the pictures. She has an eye for photography and knows exactly how to capture the moment. We never felt like she was forcing us to pose a certain way or not be ourselves, as some other photographers tend to do. After how great the engagement photos turned out, I knew I wanted to use Kristen as much as possible for our wedding so we asked her to come photograph our rehearsal dinner the day before the wedding and I am so glad we did. It will be so special to have moments from the rehearsal to look back on forever. When our wedding day arrived, Kristen did not disappoint at all and far exceeded our expectations. It was so much fun to have her be a part of our day. Our friends, family, and other vendors all commented on how great Kristen was to work with and how nice she was to everyone. We gave her a tight timeline and asked her to fit a lot of pictures into a busy, long day. Throughout the day, Kristen kept us on schedule and was sure she got pictures of all the special moments we requested. Just like during our engagement session, she knew exactly where to go around our ceremony and reception sites to get the best shots. She is incredibly talented and hiring her was the best decision we made for our wedding!! I highly recommend her for an engagement session and/or wedding!!
