They allowed us to "drop by" at all hours so we could plan for each of our vendors and even set up the ballroom one day with all the tables so we could really visualize how the room would look. The day of the wedding was more than we ever could have imagined. It really exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was absolutely spectacular. Tim and the chef really went above and beyond to ensure our menu was exactly what we wanted and each dish was impeccable. We had guests commenting on how it was the best "wedding food" they have ever had and felt like they had a meal from a 5-star restaurant! The service was more than we would have ever imagined. Each staff member was very professional and helpful in making sure our guests were very well taken care of. We had a guest mention that his glass wasn't empty all night because his waitress was on top of making sure he was so well cared for! The bar staff was amazing - they were engaging and professional and really had hustle to make sure our guests didn't have to wait around for a cocktail. It was most appreciated! The appetizer stations were set up so beautifully as was the dessert display ! My husband was totally blown away with the dessert feast, it was incredible. They were able to adjust our flowers from different areas to accent the tables and did it so discreetly I had NO idea it even happened until I walked in the dessert room! We had an ice cream bar as well and the service was amazing - it was a great feature to the dessert area. Tim and Katherine were so detailed oriented and made sure everything ran flawlessly from start to finish. The newly renovated club is absolutely stunning!! Its so elegant and modern - very light and bright. The outdoor terrace bar is spectacular - it's huge and unlike anything I've ever seen before. Its so well crafted and has details that are a real standout. Katherine really took care of every little element that I hadn't even thought of - the smallest touches made the biggest difference! The staff put together a really cute candy bar display. I was out on the golf course taking photos and a staff member stuck by my side to make sure I was well hydrated and didn't need anything, food, water, etc. She was able to grab my husband a beer to keep him going through photos! It was a really nice touch! Bottom line - MCGC exceeded ALL my expectations in everyday. The staff really went above and beyond for us and our guests. I would absolutely do another event here.

There is a mixture of holes throughout the course. Some tee shots you hit downhill and some are uphill. Most of the greens are smaller than your average size green so make sure you are hitting your irons straight. The 18th hole is one of the most beautiful finishing holes I have played. I look forward to returning to MRGC one day.

I normally go to a certain range not too far from this location but the Toptracer digital flight tracking machines had peaked my interest. While my main focus is on ball striking, I wanted to go the extra mile and utilize Toptracer to get an idea of distance gaping my woods/irons. THE EXPERIENCE Things may have changed from some previous reviews but the golf mats were perfectly fine. There weren't any glaring wear issues and I've definitely seen worse. The golf balls were fine and still had dimples left so no complaints on that end as well. The real interest and determining factor of my experience was TopTracer Technology. With the help of the digital flight tracking machines that were installed in every stall, I was able to get some raw data that helped me distance gap my clubs. Keep in mind that all the data is relative to the conditions (especially cold conditions) but I was able to get the answers I was looking for. Toptracer is able to tell you carry, total distance, launch angle, and other useful information to help optimize your clubs. I personally used the data to see how I hit my multiple drivers and find which one I hit best. It was mission accomplished. Of note, there is a small practice green with some chipping mats surrounding it. There are maybe two holes that you can use for putting and the rest are mostly for chipping targets. OTHER INFO -In addition to golf, they have pickleball courts/mini golf/paintball/turfed field and other offerings to keep you interested -The cost was marginally higher compared to your typical range but in my opinion worth it. The small bucket cost 12 dollars here compared to 10 dollars to a normal one without the digital flight tracking. FINAL THOUGHTS While Anchor Golf is a little farther from the driving range I used to use, it's well worth it for the experience to see your raw data. I would recommend giving this place a try!

Gary's Wine & Marketplace, was the evening's presenting sponsor. The event provided guests with fine wine, beer and spirits. The event had a Tricky Tray, 50-50 and Silent auction. Chefs from thirty of the area's finest restaurants served samples of their best dishes. During the event, we met wine representatives McKenna and Hanna. They introduced us to some amazing wines. One of our favorite wines was a 2016 Zinfandel named "Rattlesnake" from the Mount Peak Winery in Sonoma County. Our favorite foods of the evening were the Sumptuous Scallops from Rod's Steakhouse, the Lemon Chicken from Pascarella Bros. and Prosciutto and Creamy Cheeses from Gary's Wine and Cheese! Overall, the club has an elegant interior and lovely outside grounds. The entire event layout was excellent!. Everyone was able to move about and sample wine and food without any overcrowding. They offered me no credits and was able to return the clubs and give a refund. In the process of getting a refund, instead of refunding me they charged my credit card AGAIN. The person I was working with was initially unresponsive when I told him of his mistake and they have been very slow moving to help resolve. I bought the clubs from the the golf warehouse based off my custom fit specifications and they told me the manufacturer (Taylor Made) could not make my exact fit left handed so I had to make a minor change to the fit. I will never be going back to Golf Tec and do not recommend using them because of their horrible customer service and lack of transparency with the golf club manufacturers they work with.

The one thing I do like, they offer the price of the fitting will be deducted from the price of a putter if you buy one after the fitting...which is a plus! This store was It appeared to be clean, fully stocked, and have a friendly staff. Spent an hour testing out several different brands and models of putters in the putter section, their green area isn't large but was able to test out several different putters. Another employee came over and asked if I needed any assistance, much better customer service compared to the previous GG store I visited.

Since I had such a positive experience with Justin Nowell from the last time I was here, I took a shot in the dark and texted him with no expectations for him to answer me. After all, I hadn't made any contact with him for 2 years and he must have countless clients that he's interacted since then. To my surprise, he messaged me back within the hour and laid out the days he'd be available to help me. When I arrived at the store after an agreed upon time, I was met with the same positive vibes I had years ago. It was like Justin and I were old friends and we hadn't missed a beat. Justin is a very genuine, friendly, and helpful individual. While waiting for my club shaft adapter to be changed and dried, we had a very nice honest conversation about life and golf. I believe what separates Justin from the rest is his ability to connect with people. When you're able to connect with people like Justin does, you lay the foundation to great friendships and future business transactions at the same time. I didn't feel like any typical large chain golf store where everything is very cut and dry. Kudos to Justin, he deserves the credit and reputation he has earned. I've brought my irons set here to get re-gripped...they did an excellent job. They have a nice size practice putting area and allow you to test the putters out. I ordered a putter fitting here, the staff rep was Dustin. He was knowledgeable and helpful to focus in on the a few putter options that was tailored to my putting style. This store has everything you need for your golf game; from a wide selection of clubs, bags, balls, learning tools, and apparel. The new season apparel can be a bit pricey, however they always have discount sales which provides great value. Lastly, I appreciate the fact they instruct in the "Saturdays at the Superstore" session.
