My wife and I moved from Lantana to…read moreCorinth, and we had a pool service in Lantana, but while the house was on the market, another "new guy" (the old service went through probably 5 pool cleaning techs in the 18 months I lived here with my wife) didn't tighten the pool filter basket access and the pool lost prime for the entire weekend we moved. We were so grateful that the pump motor didn't burn out! My wife went by our former residence the following Monday and found the pool out of prime. I headed over and found the pool filter basket lid installed backward/upside down with "FRONT" facing the wrong way, and therefore it could not be tightened. I fixed the issue and got the pump back to prime and immediately called around, while my wife let the owner of the other company know about "yet another" of his employees' goofs. Pretty Pools had the most reasonable fees and have done an infinitely better job than the last company. We had zero issues with Pretty Pools maintaining our pool and the house just sold and the buyers have been referred them as well. Pretty Pools also does the chemicals service at our new place and I'm as pleased as can be. They also sent a tech (for a fee) to evaluate our pool heater. The information I received was invaluable and we will be using them to replace the heater. There are other companies in the area that also do great work, but charge quite a lot more and I'm not entirely sure they're worth it. Pretty Pools does a great job, communicates well and always returns calls/emails.

The replastering job they did had cracks in the steps and did not replace all the outlet fittings as promised. Repairs to the steps were a joke and are still stained 3 years later. More excuses and voodoo chemical bs did not work either. They bill exorbitant rates for simple repairs for instance; a repair to a 1" elbow to my scupper head (pool sprinkler) that leaked again after I had already paid $400 to them to fix it previously, he then charged $900 for an hour of work and a $2 part. He would not reconsider the billing. You do the math! What a nice hourly rate!!! Stay so far away from this small time outfit and go to a reputable store front that has been in business for a long time. If you want someone that will not guarantee their work, do shoddy repairs, this is the outfit for you. He will be the low bidder but be careful what you pay for.The lowest is never the best.
