I've only ever had a problem once where I noticed there was what looked like a bit of grease from the rack that got on my collar. The machines were ok and most used quarters with a few utilizing cards. (Change machines are available.) If you need to personally wash up, there are two separate shower areas (pay) and restroom. For my first experience, I'd say it has been a good one! The American is very clean and well done. No one else was there on the weekday evening we went. They have 8 washers and 8 dryers in total, with only one machine that was out of order. A load in the wash costs $2.75, and a load in the dryer costs $2.00 (as of Fall 2022). That seems pricy, but I'm not sure how that compares to other laundromats. There is a change machine, and there are also detergents and dryer sheets for sale (again pricy). There is seating inside and two benches on the front porch. WiFi is provided, but there is no public restroom. I do believe one should be offered since waiting on laundry can take quite some time. That would be my biggest complaint. It is next door to a coffee shop and tucked away in a nice, safe area. There is a security camera located inside (and I am sure outside as well).

Several machines are labeled out of order at time of review ( not sure what the length time for repairs are ). Hours are 7am - 9pm. Last wash load is 7pm. Doors lock at 9pm. They have your change machines as well as the soap, fabric softener and dryer sheets available for purchase at $1.00

This can add up pretty quick if you can do it yourself. There's a sports bar next door and free wifi if you do wait around.

My husband and I were visiting Montana for our honeymoon and Libby was the nearest town to where we were staying. Some nice ladies at Nordicfest told us about this carwash/laundromat and since we'd dirtied all of our clothes hiking the previous day, we needed to go- BAD! When we arrived there was a friendly lady working who offered to change our dollar bills for us and even spot me $2 while my husband went to the ATM- just so I could go ahead and start my 2 loads. We live in Rhode Island-and let me tell you- THIS would NEVER happen there! The machines at Ultra aren't new- but they get the job done and for only $2 a load- no one can complain! The dryers are a bargin at $1.25 a load and they are sure to get your clothes dry all the way- they first time! If you are aa Libby local- the best thing about this place is that you can drop your clothes off and they will wash/dry and fol your laundry in a matter of hours! *** There is one problem with the address listed on here- it is actually correct- but we had a difficult find it because the lady at the wash told us that 2 years ago the government changed all the street numbers as a part of some national security thing- and when you ask your gps to take you to the address listed- it takes you way out in the wrong direction. The Ultra Car Wash/Laundromat is located on Hwy. 2 heading away from Libby towards Troy. It will be on your right if you are going toward Troy and is directly across from a restaurant ( I forget the name).
