This was a way better experience than I expected based on the reviews. It's not a huge station, but there were around 12 pumps, and the one we pulled up to was in normal working order. There was enough space to navigate with our SUB while pulling a trailer, although carefully depending on how poorly the cars were parked in front of the store. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with all your normal necessities. Bonus points that the toilets, sinks, and paper towels were all touchless. There was a reasonable, but not overwhelming, assortment of snacks and drinks. There were several self-checkouts which meant no waiting in line once our selections were made. There was a subway that we didn't try and a Chester's that had great fried chicken and biscuits literally straight out of the oven. I'd stop again just for the potato wedges. Nothing was astonishingly amazing (except maybe the food from Chester's), but everything was very serviceable. The only negative was gas was quite a bit more than the travel stops ~15 miles in either direction. read more

If you have a class A and pulling a trailer , you'll make it in but it's a bitch to get outs. It's a really tight area and busy. I don't understand that they welcome RVs but they don't have accommodations for them to get gas. We hit the pole next to the pump and bent our wheel well on the trailer. People were patient and very nice trying to help. BUT there are those people that are your in a predicament and still they have to be first. read more

Employees friendly, except one. Complained to the manager that one women's room had no paper, the second one the toilet was stopped up No idea on the third. She said "I've called once I'll call again" it took three calls to get someone in there and the employee walked by me and said " ugh I guess I'll get to that woman's bathroom" having no idea I requested the service. This is not something they should say. I can't say what it's like to realize right before you get up that there's no paper!! I've cleaned and stocked woman's rooms and it was apparent that it had been ignored for hours! There were at least five on duty employees. Won't be stopping here again! read more

Just filled up & purchased 6 subway sandwiches in my Class A motorhome..At the 2nd to last pump on the left, also a slow Sunday night. only 3 other vehicles at the pumps to the right. A female "security gaurd" with hand cuffs hanging off her large waist demanded we move because she said other customers were bothered...however no one was around us. OTHER CUSTOMERS HAD ZERO ISSUES DRIVING AROUND THE MOTORHOME. This security person demanded a minor/14 year old passenger move the motorhome...While we were still pumping gas! Not sure what this Karen's problem was...But several other patrons began telling her to leave us alone. They WEREN'T BOTHERED BY THE MOTORHOME IN THE SLIGHTEST! Pilots choice in hiring such trash security people is absolutely appalling! It's almost like Pilot doesn't appreciate the $200+ dollars we spent at your unwelcoming travel center. We ignored the miserable heffer, completed our business.. taking our sweet time...& laughed as she could do absolutely NOTHING but be the mad miserable bitch she is. If we had more time...We would have called PD & ate our sandwiches watching her fat ass explain to pd why she has hand cuffs thinking she is the law barking demands at paying customers. read more

Not to be confused with Pylon, which is a little bit more power-ful if you know what I mean. Or Piles, which are, well - gross. This pilot is a bit of a headache in terms of getting in and out and wasn't so easy and was very busy - but having said that they have the cheapest gas in the area and I really appreciated that. The f**k are you doing? Oh sorry I was talking to an idiot on the road. I heard someone lamenting the other day about how all the mother and father owned truck stops are not as good and have bad parking lots and everything is expensive and it's kind of true in some ways but not overall and not in general and honestly at these big truck stops things are expensive too so let's not make any bones about that. But what I will say about them is they often have cheap gas and they are always good places to sleep, and are pretty safe and big and well-lit and for the most part - I think they're pretty damn awesome. read more

#20-2021 definitely a very improved pilot within the last year. I've never reviewed this one on Yelp but it used to be a hell hole and a pig sty. but I was tired and wanted to sleep so I cruised on in and busted my surprise when I got up and walked into used the toilet it was extremely clean. Masks required social distancing is being practiced. floors were nice and clean everything was really good the tables in the subway were wiped down and sanitized very well. this has a 24-hour Subway it also has a Chester's Chicken full service chesters with the smash taters and the mac and cheese and extra sides. both are ran by pilot and pilot employees they were masked following and enforcing social distancing very well. I had a Subway tuna and it was fine the employees were doing a great job I noticed a difference now in Subway when you look at the prep table as far as what goes on to the sandwiches if the buckets are full if they look like they've changed they've been doing a really good job at this one I was very pleasantly surprised with my whole experience here keep up the good work. still get slam bam jammed up though anytime after about 3:00 in the afternoon so if you want parking you got to get there early. read more

Cruising back on the I-40 expressway back to Nashville my GTO needed to make a pit stop for fuel and tasty beverage, however much better things were for sale at this trucker stop. Much to my surprise I discovered they served the best chicken strips I've ever tasted. We're seriously talking restaurant quality bird battered into perfectly spiced & moist chicken strips breaded and deep fried to perfection. Frank didn't get the rest of the bird or condiments however based on this culinary delight one can only assume the rest of the bird is delicious to the last bite. Worst truck stop, they dont accommodate their drivers at all. Kevin their manager is power hungry person. He couldn't give me any solutions other than calling the police to help me move at night. Kevin the manager all he did is smile at me and made me feel like he can just walk all over me and ruin my night. I'm oversized, and I can't drive at night because of DOT regulations. I am parked here and I am not blocking anyone what so ever. I just need to be here until sunrise when I can move again. I don't mind paying for 1-2parking spaces. But there was no spaces next to each other. All he could tell me is that we don't accommodate oversized drivers. That to me is discrimination. I can't believe as a veteran I have people like this with no common sense or compassion. If more truck come and park next to me and start blocking flow of traffic. Then I understand why they have to move. Now I have to go park on the side of the road somewhere and put me and others at risk. Worst representation of Pilot. read more

If you come here and there's no parking spots available and you try to make a spot clearly out of the way just go ahead and leave because they have a weird guy knocking on ONLY truck drivers doors all through the night for you to move. If they stop letting cars park in the spots for commercial vehicles we'd have a spot available. The inside is horrible customer service is very bad. The only reason I stopped was because I was tired but I never got any rest due to the constant knocking!! I usually go to loves but from now on I know this pilot is absolutely HORRIBLE!! read more

We stopped here on our trip for fuel, drinks and restrooms. Staff was extremely friendly. Gas price was good. Everything was clean and well stocked overall. Many of the Pilots or Flying Js seem to run out of unsweetened tea fast. Great stop! read more

The lot is very small with lots of traffic. If you're hauling an RV or trailer it's hard to get in and out. The pumps are so slow.

This is one of the worst subways. I asked for flat bread they were out of it I ask for yellow egg they were out of it. So I settled for a footlong ham and cheese sandwich and most subways habit for 499 not hear 6.50. Would give a zero if I could. Don't waste your time here if you're a trucker. For one it's small, and the employees are rude and lazy, and the management is even worse! I have NEVER been to a pilot that has had such rude and horrible employees as this one does. I had to move my truck from my parking spots 3 different times because I "wasn't allowed to park there" while 30+ other trucks where parked all over in places they shouldn't be as well. The guy outside was constantly watching my truck seeing where I would park, then would proceed to come and argue with me that I couldn't park there, while never giving me a reason as to why I could park where I was parking, when how many other trucks were also in that same area. Every time had the excuse of "well the boss said you gotta move." Finally said screw it and left. Doesn't matter if your out of hours of service or nothing. We stopped in here during a recent trip and the people that work here are amazing! While the hood of my car was up a worker came over to ask me if everything was all right and offered assistance. I thanked him for checking on me, he responded with a smile, "That's what I'm here for." When trying to leave this very busy fuel stop, another worker saw me and helped guide me back through the heavy traffic jam around the fuel pumps.
