Buck's Island really pleased us with a great pontoon and trailer at a wonderful price.More than…read morethat they proved what a quality place they really are.We drove from Indianapolis area all the way to Buck's Island because they had an 8 year old pontoon with only 267 hours with a 90 HP Mercury and a trailer all in excellent condition for only$16,999.We went on a 20 minute test drive and everything checked out.On the way home we stopped in Kentucky to fill the boat gas tank.Upon launching it ran for a couple of minutes,then died and wouldn't start.I called Patrick,our salesman,who got a mechanic to walk me through a few things ,it would crank but not start.Patrick assured me everything would be OK.We took it to a local marina(A and E Marine)who found water and sediment in the fuel.The entire fuel system needed a flush plus a fuel module to the tune of $2100.Without hesitation Buck's Island paid the bill.Hours later it is perfect.I am so impressed with how they stood behind their 30 day engine warranty on an 8 year old boat.They could have tried to squirm out of their responsibility by blaming the fuel I put in but didn't. Apparently the boat must have been sitting and the better fuel was a level in the tank when we test drove and the contaminated fuel wasn't apparent until it got stirred up.Buck's Island also had performed a 300 hour service before we left.They stood behind what they sold.I will drive there again when I need another boat .Mark Hanna.

At 7:45 I went into TJ's to get gas said I needed $10 worth of gas because I was on a half a tank and went ahead and paid for it and because she was in such a hurry to close down and check the gas fuel . She was a total bitch because she had to give me $2.50 back and all I had asked her would it go back on my debit card. She jumped down my throat told me that's why we just let people go ahead and put gas in their car so we don't have to give money back and I said I'm sorry that I messed your day up but I had no idea it'll mess the register up well most places are set up if it don't all go in. The credit card it will automatically go back on your credit card not my fault but I asked her I said are you the owner do you always treat your customers this way she said no I'm not the owner but she feels the same damn way . So I said your owner is going to be okay with losing at least $30 worth of gas a week and not to mention I walk in and buy something because I pay for the gas first. not to mention I just spent 30 bucks in there within the past two days and I still got to make two more trips down that road so but between here and there there's plenty other gas stations so that little girl that you got working for you thats got such a smart-ass attitude and a smart-ass mouth says that you don't need my money or my business that she'd rather close up early then to have to treat customers with respect and all because my car filled up and she owed me $2.50 and she raised hell. if I was you I'd be wondering how much money that girl's costing me cuz I can't be the only one she has disrespected and I was very nice to her and told her that I wish her day would get better and I would pray for her because apparently she's got a shity life going on to be such a bitch over $2.50. the reason why you should know this is because you do have several gas stations around yours and when you own a privately owned a little gas station you need everybody that stops in there to buy gas to buy something out of that store I know cuz I've owned a small gas station before. I at least spend spend $10 on merchandise so I guess you're going to be losing about 40 bucks a week from me if not more wonder how much money money that girl has Cost U........
