I used the shower here, shower number seven.It was very clean.The food was also very good.They have a very large parking lot with plenty of room to maneuver their truck for safe parking all of the people I encountered were very pleasant and helpful, and the lady who made my food was also very conscientious of washing your hands and putting on gloves. And the sandwich is also very good as well. They have a large dotting area with Dairy Queen and Quiznos soon to be firehouse subs. At some point they do have a diner on the same property. But in a different building did not get a chance to eat there. It was closed at 2 o'clock. But it is a nice truck stop. It is an old school truck stop that sells. Pilot fuel cannot be all things to all people. If you are a.. prima, Donna ...driver. that needs everything just so this place is probably not for you.But if you are a driver that needs a good place to rest with a good parking lot, good food and a very nice size convenience store and a coffee bar.This place is probably for you. I gave it 5 stars, not because it's the Taj Mahal, because it checks all my boxes and the things that I need when I'm looking for a place to park and a place to relax and they also have a nice TV. Lounge as well, the showers are old school. You actually need a key to get into them, and that is just fine. But everything has been retiled, and looks very nice. I'm sure this building does need some updating, but it is an old building. And these buildings are pretty expensive to maintain. I'm sure, but everything is just fine. Typical 'dumpy' truck stop. They can't even bother to put prices on the snacks in the retail convenience store. you must take everything you want to buy up to the register to learn how much you will pay. Clearly mis-managed as putting prices on goods is 'Retail 101", not rocket science. read more

Pilot station itself was as expected, however the Dairy Queen inside was much less stellar. Three employees, two of which were obvious new. The manager spent most of her time disciplining and hindering order fulfillment rather than teaching or directing her trainees. After waiting more than 20 minutes for a simple ice cream order requested a return of my money when it became obvious that production had come to a standstill. Manager couldn't believe that I would request my money back and was rude. Highly unprofessional and insulting to the trainees and customers. read more

do not even deserve a star honestly the bathrooms on dairy queen side were very dirty no toilet paper or paper towels after a long drive I stayed for over 4 hours and it was the worst the lady at the fuel desk was outside in a car smoking what smelled as marijuana this is very unprofessional I will review on many apps to let people know how this place is ran read more

It's ok. We went here for gas and to use the restrooms. These places really need to clean their restrooms way more often. It's a big stop for truckers so if they need a shower or a lounge this place has it for them. They have a dairy queen and other foods inside! If it wasn't so late into the night, I don't think we would've stopped here! read more

I went at night 3rd shift to the front desk to buy a shower and the man working register walks away to buy scratch offs while I'm waiting at the register. Then he is angry that I'm there as if I interrupted him and yells at me rude as hell where did you park your truck? Trying to get out of having to help me. The hole time he yells out orders rudely what to do where to go very bossy very rude. He is unhappy with his job. He hates his job and he makes everybody feel like they should not be bothering him to buy anything!!!! read more

Today I went there to get gas and use the restroom, the bathroom wasn't as dirty as people said, it looked like the average gas station bathroom. The workers were super nice, just the smell of burning cheese. read more

Masks, social distancing and sanitizer were NOT used. This is after the N.C. governor made face masks mandatory. The guy working at Quizno's had one on, but not covering his mouth or nose. Cashiers were behind plexiglass, but no masks. People walked right by crowded in without any masks. I was going to get food here as they have two restaurants and plenty of snacks, but didn't trust it. Used the restroom and got out of there ASAP. Gas is cheap, lots of pumps, trucker area, and additional parking available. Not the easiest to navigate on and off the interstate, but doable. read more

Truckers have plenty parking but it's a lot of holes. the showers are spacious but you'll have to bring your own soap. The drivers lounge has a lot of seating as well. The store itself is outdated but it's has Dairy Queen and a sub place in there. read more

bathrooms were honest to God I would never stop there. My parents are truckers. I have an uncle that's a trucker and I've sent them the location and told them not to come to that gas station because it is so terrible. It is not a reflection on pilot pilot typically OK but the gas station right down the street is so much better for the bathrooms. They're not great don't get me wrong but they're better comparison wise and in the whole atmosphere of that store it's just everyone's judging you and I think they have druggies so yeah read more

DIRTY! Everywhere throughout the store, the bathrooms etc. Dairy Queen is "out of ice cream". Quiznos has one poor (visible) staff person trying to serve everyone. Bathrooms in disrepair and dirty. Gas is more expensive than surrounding areas by a good margin. I stopped here assuming the gas would be better priced but nope! Cashier was civil with decent customer service. read more

Most Pilot rest stops are nice, however this one wasn't. The entire store was very dirty overall. Many customers not wearing masks or social distancing, restrooms were filthy (free pair of tighty whities on men's room floor) probably not cleaned in the last month, 3 out of 5 employees who were wearing masks had nose uncovered, Quiznos employee had bad attitude, thick layer of dust and finger prints on counter. Hand sanitizer was available. Plexiglass in front of pilot cashier who was not wearing mask. read more

Came in here and it smells like burnt... everything! Disposable cups were dirty (on the inside of the cup), shelves were empty, oil and car stuff were in between food shelves, etc. Safe weren't great either. The whole place looked very run down and honestly, if it weren't for the cards in the parking lot, I would have thought this place was abandoned. read more

Well as travel centers go, you'd be hard pressed to find a worse one. The smell of grease hits you in face as soon as you open the doors. The place is dark and has a grimy feel to it. The rest rooms are filthy and not ADA compliant. Avoid this dump. read more

I went inside to pay for my coffee. Should be a simple task but obviously it wasn't. Went to the cashier and was ignored. I asked if I pay for my coffee here or at fuel desk. Older lady snapped " if you are going to pay with that card you have out ( points card) you have to go there. Very rude to me. I went to the fuel desk only to be faced again with unhappy staff. Pilots are usually pretty good, but this one is really dirty, run down and price gougy. I drove to the pilot 2 exits south and paid 34 cents less a gallon. read more

Clean and good number of pumps as well as good variety of food, drink, and snack options. I really like the big Sadler chair in front of the store. It's one of the attractions I would say. Gas is priced fair. read more
