I spoke with Josh Mahon about my issue with a squealing outside fan motor. We set up an appointment and his guy Mike came out for the service call. He called me well in advance to give me plenty of time to meet him. He was very knowledgeable and he was a straight shooter about the age and condition of my system. He shares my opinion that if the system is in good shape, leave it alone until an issue arises. We talked about eventual replacement of the AC only as the furnace was much newer and also the fact that it's freakin' Texas! He was happy to provide a rough number for that as well as a quote for the fan motor. Needless to say, my only gripe was they showed up two days early, but that's not really an issue. They will be back to repair my unit later this week and they will be my go-to for bi-annual service calls to keep my unit running as long as possible.
