I told him specifically that I needed all the leaks fixed. He gave me a quote and said he needed half the money up from for parts. I (knowing women get scammed a lot) said no that's okay I'll find someone else to do it. I knew something was off. But he convinced me to go with him and on my better judgment I did. I had taken a loan out for $3,000 and told him not to go over that. Probably another big mistake! Because he took me for all my money! He had my car over 2 weeks! And still wanted to keep it for longer. He conveniently stated moving into a new shop after I gave him all of my money and that was his main priority instead of getting my car fixed. If wasn't up for the task he shouldn't have taken on this project! Didn't fix all the leaks like I asked. And still tried to say I owed him more money. On top of my temperature gauge not working anymore and my wiper fluid canister broke and this piece of hanging tube he said "just go to the junkyard and get the piece that's missing!" And my transmission fluid still leaking! Excuse me but if you are working on my car and break or misplaced something that's your job to fix it! I can't tell you how unprofessional that is and to say he is reliable and has 5 stars but treated me like I was nothing took all my money and still didn't fix my car to say I'm pissed is an understatement! I asked for an itemized receipt and still have yet to receive a receipt of any kind of proof of work that he's done on my car. I don not recommend this guy for work especially if you are a woman! He takes advantage of woman. I knew I should have gone with my gut because I knew he was going to screw me! Also I called him to express my concern and he would not let me talk made up some bull crap lie and also recorded our conversation! So yeah I was mad but he's was rude and interrupting! And now his girlfriend is attacking me personally! Never talked to her before! She knows nothing about the situation yet she's being insulting to me! Says a lot about the people they are over a bad review!

After having a coolant flow control valve installed and an oil change on my Prius, I was NOT provided a receipt or invoice at checkout from David the service representative due to printer issues in the office. I am one of those owners that keeps all records of service and am very meticulous with maintenance. He agreed to email me the docs but after two days I received nothing. I then called the office to leave a message to inform David to send (or resend). No results. Soon after I received a "courtesy text" from David asking to rate Import's service. I responded letting him know that I had not received my reciept/ invoice. Once again, no response. I recently called and asked to talk to Import's owner hoping to get results. Was told that she was on the line with another customer and would call me back to talk. Still no return call or results. At this point Import Specialists has not provided me a receipt/ invoice and is unwilling to return my calls, texts. I've been a regular customer of Import since I moved into the neighborhood approximately 5 years ago. I have trusted and received service that met my expectations at each service interval. Despite my many efforts for follow up I am disappointed that Import has not met my expectations for reasonable customer service and I can no longer trust the company to continue my vehicle service.

The mechanic, Danny, put a lot of work into troubleshooting the issue. He figured out that the fuel filter I installed had a small defect in the rubber gasket at the top. This defect was allowing air to get sucked into the fuel line so that the injectors never got proper fueling. I have to tell you that defect was VERY hard to spot and Danny is amazing in finding that hidden fault and replacing the filter which solved a problem I had been struggling with for weeks! Thank you sir. Next time this DIY guy breaks something Stan's Auto will be first on my list to visit.
