We went every day of our vacation. Huge open space safe for dogs and our experience was wonderful.

Stopped by on our way back from a day trip in Ptown. This dog park is beautiful and we loved the art! It's different than what my dog is used to (gravel, concrete, & sand instead of grass/dirt) but she definitely didn't mind. It has two sides (small dogs under 25 lbs and all dogs). Unfortunately most of the dogs were on the small dog side, but my dog still enjoyed racing the small dogs from the other side of the fence. The only downside is that there is very little shade, but that's a common issue at dog parks. We plan on returning before our Cape vacation ends! read more

I wish they had a side street entrance...I think I made my dogs sick from all the U turns it took for me NOT to miss the driveway! Besides that...it was clean, not crowded (only 2 large dogs besides mine in the park).... I can see where some dogs may not like the crushed rock / stone surface...mine did not seem to care. Plenty of bags (if you forgot) and plenty of trash for disposing of your poop! I met a nice couple...had some chit chat...then got the pups back into the car for the ride home. This is a great way to let the pups burn off some energy on the way to or from PTown! read more

Simply splendid. We took the pups, Mishka and Blanket, on an excursion to one of the top rated dog parks on the east coast. We arrived and were happy to see the covid restrictions in place. Masks for all dog park visitors, pick up your poop, etc. After a long minute of attempting to get the dogs to wear masks, we decided that only the humans will wear them. Luckily no person or dog was in the park when we arrived. We went to the large dog section, but were happy to see there was a small dog option. Some time those yip yip pups get trampled by the bigger dogs and you're always anxious to see them turn into a chew toy. Excited to see there was a lot of space for the dogs to run. To describe it simply, there's a pebble peninsula in the middle of the park and on the outside is sand. Our dogs seemed to prefer the sand purely to make our Airbnb sandier. Couple tennis balls to throw around so we played fetch before blanket decided she was a pirate. Pawsitively a great place to let the dogs loose for some fun. Well kept and maintained for a safe bully free dog zone. It was nice to get the dogs off the electronics for the day and get them some vitamin fun. read more

I have never seen worse dog owners than this town. They run loose everywhere, lost in the streets. If you have a little dog, best keep it strapped up in a baby carrier. The park has warts/covid. Bless the businesses who put out water for the strays. It's disgusting. read more

Clearly, the park was created for the love of dogs. P-town is the most dog friendly town in Massachusetts, with restaurants that allow dogs to dine alfresco with their owners, the more than 1/2 dozen water bowls on Commercial St., Paws and Whiskers, the Recycled Retriever, year round dog friendly beaches, dozens of dog friendly lodging, and the sorry fact that one cannot walk 20 paces without hearing, "Oh my Gawd! Now that's a dog!, What a fabulous pooch!, How old? Does she sleep through the night?, Oh, she's so adorable, what is she?" Seriously, while all the attention makes one proud, after 4 days of this, one can begin to respond with, "Back up off my dog." So P-town, do you really need a dog park? What a stupid question. Of course you do. A dog park only further confirms your love for dogs. So, it was built and the dogs come. Puggles, hounds, king charles cavaliers, Shepherd's, mutts, and responsible, unflinching owners who put their hands in complementary poop mitts. The park continues to raise money for landscaping, shade pavilions, and fountains. Currently, it's an acre sized peninsula of pea gravel and concrete, surrounded by sand, and a 6' chain link fence with double gates, waiting for more artistic influences. Now, various art mediums decorate the space - a resting dog made of rope, stone slabs for resting or jumping over, a composite material boat, decorative hydrants, a lone print by a local artist. There are 2 enclosures 25 lbs and under, and the other is all inclusive. Dog bubblers in each, I think. On 8/29 Lily Tomlin will be the feature attraction at a park fundraiser. The best! We stop here on our way in/out of Ptown so the the dogs can burn off some energy. We have small dogs (Yorkies) and there's a nice section for large and a separate section for small dogs. Clean,Clean, Clean. Each year we grab a donation envelope and send them a few bucks in appreciation for having such an awesome place to bring the dogs. read more

This place is AMAZING! I can't say enough awesome things about this dog park - except that I wish it was right next door to my home. Immaculately clean, well designed and all around perfect. All the perks of a 5 star dog park: tennis balls, multi level water fountains, sculptures to climb and play on, great people and pups. Plus, the lively conversation you'd expect in Ptown. If you have a pooch and you're in the area (or within a 1 hour radius!) come visit the Pilgrim Bark Park. read more

When my dogs are anywhere near the Bark Park, they start playing madly in the back seat. This park makes the whole family happy each and every time we go. It has made are summers in the Cape so much better because our dogs love to play but hate sand and water. We love to hang and have made many unexpected long-term friendships here. The amenities add to the overall fabulousness: the sculptures, the brick walkway dedications, three tiered water fountains, an area for smaller dogs, poop bags, a new shaded area, a well kept garden , an immaculate park, clear concise rules & regs. Looks very nice, with statues, fountains and such. Good place to let your dog blow off some steam. There's a section for bigger dogs and a section for smaller dogs, helpful to some owners. One flaw in the design is the overuse of gravel, which can be rough on more sensitive paws. Also, no grass. But there is sand! Overall, this place I think appeals a bit more to humans than to dogs. read more

We loved being so close to a dog park but like some else said there was no grass. The stone was uncomfortable for our dog.

A great place for your fuzzy friend to play and socialize with human contact or a new fuzzy friend. The small stones never bothered my very small Chihuahua and it was better then grass for sanitary reason. I would highly recommend this dog park for a few hours of fun. read more
