Station2Fitness is far more than a gym--it's a true community. From the moment you walk in, you're…read morewelcomed not only by the owner, Angel Rodriguez, but by every member who trains there. There is absolutely no judgment--only support, encouragement, and a shared commitment to getting a little better each day. The one-hour classes are consistently run on time and are never canceled. Each session begins with a focused 15-minute stretch and mobility warm-up to ensure you're properly prepared. From there, the workout transitions into a dynamic mix of aerobic activity--sometimes running and strength conditioning. No two classes are ever the same, which keeps things fresh, challenging, and engaging. After the first workout segment, the final 30 minutes are devoted to another series of exercises, frequently incorporating barbells and other equipment. Classes are intentionally small, allowing Angel to give individual attention to every participant. Exercises are thoughtfully modified based on your ability, experience, and physical needs, ensuring that everyone is both challenged and supported. The training style follows a CrossFit-inspired approach, incorporating a wide variety of movements and equipment, with strength training playing a central role. Participants range in age from their 20s to their 70s, and the atmosphere is one of mutual respect--everyone is simply focused on becoming stronger, healthier, and better than they were yesterday. Yes, you'll get fit at Station2Fitness--but you'll also gain a community of friends who will push you, support you, and make you smile. All you have to do is show up.

I've been going to this Planet Fitness location for over 3 years now…read more Positives: - The staff here is very nice, friendly and professional. Only good things to say about them. - The gym is very clean. Plenty of stations with paper towels and cleaning spray to wipe down equipment as well. - equipment is kept in excellent working condition. On the rare event that anything has been noticeably out of order, it's been quickly fixed. - It is now a 24/7 gym so you can go anytime (was previously "24/5" with less hours on weekends). - low membership fees - the black card membership allows you to bring a guest each time you go and also allows you to visit other PF locations too Drawbacks: - They do not have regular squat/bench racks. Only smith machines, 4 of them specifically. Because of this, these are in very high demand. It's common for all of them to be used at once, with people on other machines waiting on them. Some people do almost their entire workouts on them, and will spend over an hour on one Smith machine. Others will take dumbbells or other equipment to the smith machines so they can "hog" them while doing other workouts. The gym definitely has more cardio machines than they need, and should sacrifice a few for a regular bench/squat rack, OR more smith machines. Even just one more would make a significant difference during peak usage. Failing at that, there should be time usage limits for individual Smith machines . They could also use one more inclined leg press machine as well. - this gym has been getting steadily more crowded over time. Planet Fitness also does more advertising and promotion than any of the major gyms. And they particularly ramp up their efforts to target the "New Years resolution" market. Consequently, the New Years resolution-effect seems to be very pronounced here. If you come to lift between 4:00 and 6pm on a weekday, prepare to be possibly frustrated with occupied weights, benches and equipment . Just the way it is. - They have a loud alarm (they call it a "lunk alarm") whose existence is ostensibly to discourage people from grunting or dropping weights. While I don't do either of these things, this stupid alarm is far more annoying than anyone who does and I'm willing to bet most of the gym go-ers who hear it agree. They should just get rid of it. Fortunately I've been hearing less of it lately though. - they have mirrors in the weightlifting area, which are good for checking proper form on lifts. Unfortunately there are gaps ranging from 3 to 5 feet between a few of these mirrors. These should be filled in with more mirror space.
