I absolutely love how Georgina runs her prenatal yoga classes. Her flows and poses feel safe and supportive for our growing bodies and babies, but they aren't overly easy and still feel challenging. She encourages you to modify depending on how you feel and I always leave class feeling strong and empowered - exactly what I want and need as I prepare for this birth. The Aqua Mamas classes are just heavenly. They take place in a heated pool in an oasis that is her back yard. We use pool "weights", bands, and noodles during class. Similar to her yoga classes there is room for you to modify and get a good workout or take it easy and just enjoy stretching and being buoyant in the water. Class sizes are intimate and on the smaller side. It's a treasure to be surrounded by other pregnant women sharing stories, milestones, or just our latest aches and pains! I'm in my 39th week now - still taking yoga at Two Hearts and still feeling great. I attribute that to moving, stretching, and feeding off of the strong feminine energy that permeates her classes.

Georgina is awesome, super supportive and also realistic about what it's like to be pregnant or a mom. She's a great instructor who really knows her stuff. She creates a great environment and it was a great place to get a healthy workout and meet some other moms and moms to be! Logistically easy too. Location is also great. Free parking in the lot under the building. Easy to reach and lots of options for class times.

I did hot8yoga for a year and it's really top of it's class. If you're into the whole "rise and…read moregrind" or influencer kind of mentality, you'll fit right in. The rooms are consistently hot, the hottest I've been to in my 10 years of practice, the instructors are amazing, the staff are friendly, the showers and bathrooms are clean. The entrance is not difficult to find, it's very obvious. Just give yourself extra time the first class. After a year, I decided to leave for a few reasons. It's too corporate. In their emails, they made it seem like I had to switch to monthly but it turns out I could have kept my old rate for the yearly cost without switching. Why do they offer so few 26&2 time slots in a hot yoga studio? It's too hot for me. Hot yoga, what else did I expect, right? Well, it's a funny thing to point out, but I felt like I didn't see improvement in my own abilities because the heat and humidity made me too flexible. And doing weights in this heat? What? Why? It seems like chasing the next trend. Parking felt like a hassle. It won't be an issue for you if you can walk here. You only get 2 hrs and have to pay after that. The issue is that if you do a 90 min class, and arrive early, and have to drive up to and back down from the 8th-9th floor (you have to park at the very top of the structure), then that leaves you very little time for recovery and showering/rinsing off. Definitely a top studio, definitely great instructors, staff, and showers. Parking isn't great and I wish they had more 26&2 options. It just wasn't for me.

HOWEVER, Yoga 8 is not for the faint of heart or for folks who are just getting started. The energy here - from the staff, the rules, the parking - is serious. People here are friendly, but intense. The front desk folks are incredibly helpful and empathetic. I truly cannot give enough stars for the hard work they do. The place is spotless, they offer fresh towels and yoga mats, and their work is impeccable. Every teacher I've had is part coach, part preacher, part fitness instructor. If you value having someone yell motivational platitudes over the music while you're holding a squat, you'll enjoy this class. However, sometimes I do get triggered/overstimulated by how hot they keep their rooms and how intense every workout is. Sometimes I wished Yoga 8 could offer more onboarding/less intense options for people who are new to the studio/fitness journey. The main drawback is the parking. Never in my life have I needed to get two *different* validations from two *different locations* in order to park in the garage. You have to get validated by the machine on the 9th floor FIRST and then by the studio after. I do feel like this is a liability for the studio! The classes are really hard and sometimes I feel incredibly lightheaded after class. Requiring students to march up a precarious flight of stairs (you take the elevator to the 8th floor and then walk up from there to the 9th floor) after they've dehydrated themselves during class leaves their students in a slightly dangerous situation. I wish the studio owners could work out a better deal with their building.

Walked in today after few years of not being there and took a morning class with one of their teachers. She was very nice, kind, pleasant and knew her job well. They provide mat for $5.00 but, I didn't pay since I had my own mat with me. They also provide knee pads, blocks and bolsters. Bring yourself a bottle of water to hydrate yourself. Class lasted for 55 minutes. Class was not too difficult, and they go with the right pace to accommodate with beginners, and people who have been doing yoga for some time now. I really enjoyed the class and looking forward to going back. They have different prices for different classes and membership. For those who are interested. They also offer an online classes. Check the schedule. Place is clean, it's not too small, and can fit 14 to 17 people. Parking is in the back and that's all I have to say about today's visit. Namaste :-)

I've tried a mix of classes and services -- from challenging Pilates to deeply relaxing yin sessions and sound baths -- and each one offers something a little different depending on what I need that day. I also love that the infrared sauna sessions are set up in your own private room, which makes the experience feel even more relaxing and personal. They also do a great job of creating a sense of community. From time to time, they host special weekend events with thoughtful touches like goodie bags and guest sponsors, which makes you feel really valued as a member. I've even joined one of their group hikes, which was such a fun way to connect outside the studio. They've also brought in guest instructors for things like dance and Zumba-style classes, which keeps things fresh and interesting. What really keeps me coming back is the overall experience. The space is always clean, calm, and beautifully maintained, and I love how easy it is to just show up -- mats, towels, and props are all provided. Parking in the back is also a huge plus, especially for LA. I've found myself telling friends about it and inviting them as my guests, which says a lot. It genuinely feels like a little wellness sanctuary, and I'm really glad I found this place.

My experience with Artha ended very poorly after several years of association with the facility…read more I received numerous promotional messages encouraging trial visits, so I attended both the West LA and Studio City locations to determine which classes and schedule worked best before committing to a long-term membership. This is a normal step for anyone evaluating a fitness or wellness membership. Later, management accused me of violating their policies simply for attending both locations and permanently revoked my access. The explanation provided was inconsistent with the promotional outreach they themselves sent encouraging trial participation. The situation escalated further when I accompanied a referred guest using a guest pass that had been given to me by another member. Instead of handling the matter professionally or discussing it in good faith, "Miguel" imposed a permanent ban and stated he would not correspond further. The lack of flexibility, unwillingness to review context, and overall tone from management was disappointing for a business that markets itself as a community-oriented wellness space. Potential members should carefully review all policies and be aware that enforcement may be strict and final regardless of circumstances.
