Agile Monkey welcomed me with open arms. I was nervous about getting back into fitness as I had never formally done pilates and dance had taken its toll on my feet. Kathy answered when I called and listened to all my concerns. She was warm, welcoming and both put me at ease and made me excited to come in. I felt like she truly cared (which is way more than I can say for every doctor that nagged me to lose weight). She told me that she looked forward to meeting me and I could tell she meant it. I had my intro with Dixie and in that short hour my mind was opened to all the ways my body was not aligned and causing me pain. She never made me feel like anything was wrong with my body and relayed her experience to my own. She was funny, enthusiastic and had a great energy! I left the studio and told everyone I knew how incredible she was! That was May 2018 and I've been going back ever since. I have to also recommend Irina. Her classes have been instrumental in my progress. She has an amazing fun energy that motivates me and keeps me coming back for more. Her early morning centering class has consistently been one of the highlights of my week. I can't recommend her enough! All the instructors I've worked with have been wonderful in listening to my concerns and encouraging me to have confidence in my body and know when something doesn't feel right. I truly feel welcome and safe at Agile Monkey! Also love that the studio doesn't use single use disinfecting wipes and opts for reusable cloths and cleaner. Love that the boutique carries high quality items from brands that do good and are women and or family owned. Big plus! Tl;dr: Would go again and again! Would recommend to everyone at any age, at any level. Studio that cares! All around positive experience!

Maureen is passionate about her work as a nutritionist & it shows though in her caring dedication…read more Maureen helped me get to the bottom of some major endocrine and digestive issues that had been daunting me for almost 15 years. Maureen's therapy gets at the WHOLE picture, bringing the body into balance from the inside out. I've tried many alternative and conventional therapies over the years and I've gotten the best results from Maureen's therapy. After an unsuccessful brain surgery, bad reactions to countless prescription drugs & many limiting food allergies. Maureen's caring listening ear and insight into the complex inner workings of the human body is helping me make the changes I need to be back to health. Many times when I was at my worst points towards the last 2-3 years of the 15 year journey to wellness. Maureen kept telling me I had a leaky gut & I was in denial thinking it couldn't be the cause of such a serious medical problem like a brain tumor!! How could fixing my digestive tract health cure my pituitary brain tumor? But it is! I finally gave in when both my digestive & hormonal symptoms were limiting my enjoyment of life on a daily basis. I was no longer able to exercise with ease (I am very athletic), all of my body ached, I had multiple injuries, fatigue, mental fogginess & weight gain (among many other frustrating symptoms) from lack of proper vitamins and correct hormonal balance in my body. My life was affected negatively every day in my both my personal & professional life. I was depressed. I felt like my life force had been ripped out of me. My once vivacious and positive spirit was just hanging in there to make it through every day....wondering when and how I could ever feel healthy again. I'm not kidding- It was that bad! I had tried homeopathy, naturalistic, acupuncture, energy work & cranial sacral from some of the most well known practitioners in their field. My GP and specialist doctors never had even close to the knowledge of nutrition and in depth blood work results that Maureen did. When they told me my blood work was good, Maureen always had a different take on the blood work I had done and often was able to pick out some minute detail that clued her off that I was deficient in some nutrient or vitamin that the other doctors just weren't clue into. In this sense Maureen is an incredible valuable resource. When I started taking the supplements Maureen recommended me (based off blood work deficiencies she noticed) in conjunction with my other naturalistic medicine I started to notice a drastic change in my health and vitality. Maureen is helping me to rebuild my body and give it what it needs. She sees how everything is interconnected- rather than treating the symptoms, she gets to the route of the cause and offers me practical ways to fix it in a way that fits with my lifestyle. I am beyond grateful for what Maureen is guiding me through & I highly recommend her as the most talented, smart, trustworthy and intuitive health care worker you could find! Maureen has also been very supportive of combining her treatments with that of other therapies and offering advice as to which treatments would be helpful (if I am in doubt). I trust Maureen more than any health care practitioner I work with now, and I run everything buy her from my other doctors before I do it. I cannot say enough good about Maureen; she has restored my faith that the human body (especially my own) is capable of healing anything!

She brought enthusiasm and a real sense of curiosity to our meetings. Maureen dons the inspector hat when exploring a client's issues - because that's what a good nutritional practitioner does! Maureen recently helped me investigate my food intake and led me through my first ever sugar detox & elimination diet. She was a constant & great coach, consistently supporting me and her other clients in the group. When I was having the toughest of days and wanted to quit Maureen stayed strong for me; she would challenge me in constructive ways to remember my goals and my 'why' behind what I was doing. I needed that support and it worked! I successfully completed the detox and learned so much about sugar intake and how that was affecting my gut, my skin, even my attitude and my energy levels! If Maureen doesn't know the answer to something she'll tell you that straight up then eagerly put in the time to research the answer and follow up with you. Maureen practices what she preaches in her own life and is so down to earth. She will empathize and does not take a directive or dogmatic approach to nutrition. Maureen will treat you as the unique, amazing individual you are; she will NOT cast judgement and she WILL actively care about helping you to reach your health goals. I highly recommend Maureen and Flourish to support you through your health journey!
