Pika Pika is a wonderful place to grab some delicious food to go or sit and relax, inside or out, with a brew from Grace Ridge Brewery.

The Bulgagi was unique and put a Korean spin on a taco but was a little heavy on the sauce. The fish taco was out of this world good. The best fish taco I've ever eaten. We got some noodles just to try another dish but they weren't that impressive-- why get noodles when you can have le burg or fish taco?? We were just visiting but my family lives in Homer and visits Le burg regularly. They said hours can be difficult and they're not always open. There are also only two picnic tables between Le truck and a BBQ truck that they seem to share so not a lot of seating but it's a food truck-- what do you expect. If you're in homer and looking for a lunch spot make sure to check out Le truck. Update: two years later we spent three days trying to go back but they were never open! Finally they opened for lunch at 1:40 right before the farmer's market opened on Wednesday. It seems like they are only open when farmer's market is open. That's very frustrating. Food was still good but losing points/stars for bad hours and never being open!!

The people are friendly, and the food is spectacular every time. And the time estimates they give are ALWAYS precise, and we're never waiting longer than we expect. The food is delicious and wonderful and we've never regretted a single penny spent here. We don't have any pictures because we always scarf down the food before we think to take a picture. The food always smells incredible. Thank you Bong's for being in Homer every summer.

A simple menu of asian fusion made ordering so easy - a choice of ramen bowls, rice bowls, and the obligatory appetisers like beef lumpia. Not to mention friendly staff. We ordered a pork rice bowl with a fried egg and cucumber salad, a yellow curry chicken rice bowl with sliced cucumber, and beef lumpia for the boys - although they werent hungry so dad polished that off. While waiting, the boys rolled down the grass hill and we chatted with a newly arrived plastic surgeon from Dallas - you definitely meet an eclectic crowd in Homer. Though the wait was a tad long - maybe percieved as much due to my hunger - it was worth the wait. The food was delicious, satisfying, and comforting. The yellow curry had just enough spice, the pork was savory with a hint of sweet and sour as well as being juicy. To use street words - it was grub. And as a person familiar with Compton and crip walking - I know street. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fully belly with authentic flavors and a low key vibe. Do yourself a favor, treat you and yours to Bong's Bistro and thank me later. 4 out of 5 stars as there was no hostess, no complimentary champagne, and no jacket and tie requirement.
