If you've got kids with energy to burn and you're looking for a low-effort, high-reward activity that won't have you breaking a sweat (or the bank), Pigeon Forge Snow is the move. Indoor snow? Check. Non-stop fun? Check. A place where parents can actually sit while the kids go wild? Double check. This place gets it. The kids get their winter wonderland fix--sliding, tubing, and living their best snow-filled lives--while parents get exactly what they want: a comfy seat to watch them play until their hearts (or energy levels) tap out. It's one of those rare finds where both sides win. No complaints, no "Can we go now?" Just pure, budget-friendly, independent fun. And when the snow play winds down? Candy shop time! Bright, colorful, and the perfect sugar rush to cap off a solid half-day of play. Quick in, quick out, no regrets. If you're in Pigeon Forge with kids, just go. Trust me.

Rude and terrible customer service. New to the area on vacation, we stopped in with our 3 and 6 year old tor tubing and snowplay. Within a minute of seeing the tube, my 3 year old refused. They would not refund or give credit even though the pass had not been used and we purchased tickets at the counter minutes earlier.

We stopped by while waiting for our room to be ready. 1. A bit over priced for the experience. I think $19.99 would be a fair amount to charge for an hour of snow tubing. 2. They offer a military discount. Thank you! 3. There is a small indoor play area with "snow" but it's lacking "fun." You can't throw snowballs and there isn't really much else to do in the area except stand there. 4. The "slope" are steep. It can look intimidating when you walk in, as my kiddo said. But he did fine once he got over his fear. Thank God, because no refunds! All in all we were done after about 30 minutes. I wish they had 30 minute options at a reasonable price. OR, come down a bit on the hour ride pricing.

We decided to check out this indoor snow tubing place on a Sunday morning in January and, also, in September. Each time we went, it was not very crowded and we were able to sled down the "tubing run" as much as we wanted. This is not some little snow hill with slow/boring action. It's pretty darn fast and thrilling-- even for an adult! My son (who lives going fast) especially liked it. If you want something different for kids, this is a great option. They even offer 30 minute sessions at a lower price. That option may be enough if you just want to do it a few times. Overall -- super fun. I highly recommend this attraction and am happy it is in our area.

This is a great idea for the summer heat we have been hit with after the cold front the welcomed us when we were arrived her in PF. What a novel idea to have slides for tubing and 6 at a time can race to the bottom. No need for AC when it's hot outside. Where else can you go tubing in your shorts and a short sleeve shirt, right? There's even a snow room for the kids and big kids too. ;)

Lots of fun, even for us old folks! Let's bring some of those downhill sled ride memories from our youth back, just one more time while we can!

If you are looking for a fun and thrilling experience, you might want to check out the snow tubing park. It is a very cool place to visit, especially in the off-season when it is less crowded and you can enjoy more rides. The park has six lanes of tubes that slide down the slopes at high speed. You will feel the rush as you zoom through the snow. The park also has a special area for younger kids to play with snow and ice. The only downside is that the tickets are quite pricey, but it is worth it for the excitement and fun. Has fun music and lights for an extra touch.

This was so icey to the point it was hard to make a snowball...smh.

Perfect for breaking in the kids to roller coasters. The playground was nice for the shorter folks.

The shop has a lot to offer in regard to things that you may want/need for your trip such as necklaces to attach your shades to, dry bags, sunglasses, etc. They employ a lot of young people/teenagers, and those individuals helped us to get our life jackets, tubes, safety training and launching us into the river. It's a self-guided tour. No staff members accompany you, but they tell you to stay left at the fork and if you go under the overpass, you've gone too far. With this being our first tubing experience, we were a bit nervous. We ordered the XL tubes (unnecessary) as well as the cooler tube (also unnecessary). The majority of the route is shaded from the sun, and I believe I would've been okay taking one full reusable water bottle. We rarely accessed our cooler and after floating in the river, we didn't really want to snack...even with the use of hand sanitizer. We saw horses, a beaver and a turtle during our float. The water level seemed to be a bit low, with us needing to lift our bottoms to avoid contact with rocks. It was slow-moving and relaxing, but I'd love to return and experience it when the water level is a bit higher. At the end, we loaded onto a waiting shuttle bus and went back to base. Their changing rooms and bathrooms were clean and very convenient. The only thing that could've made them better were showers! We changed out of our wet swimsuits/trunks and freshened up as best as we could. We spoke with the owner briefly, who told us how her sons (the best in the world, she says) built that place for her. Upstairs are 3 apartment units. She was really nice. I also overheard her praising her team for the good work they'd been doing this season, and her hopes that the weather and crowds continues as they have for the remainder (I was in the restroom). I would definitely suggest this as a reprieve from the Summer heat if visiting the area any time soon!

We had no issues finding a date available, but some scheduled times were already booked out, so make sure to reserve ahead of time! There are SEVERAL whitewater rafting companies and I cannot speak for the other companies, but I had a very pleasant time with Rafting In the Smokies! Our rafting guide was incredibly knowledgeable with the nearby area and was competent in keeping us safely down Class III and Class IV rapids across ~5.5 miles down the river! Very family-friendly and a fun experience, even for people who have never whitewater rafted! TYPE OF RAFTING: Upper Pigeon River Rafting - Class III/IV (note: Lower Pigeon rafting is apparently more like a "lazy river" - type of experience!) PARKING: Plentiful Scheduling: Easy to schedule online, they called the day prior to confirm our trip and advised us to arrive 45 mins before our scheduled rafting trip! PRICE: Affordable and there was a promo code on their website! They also do coupon books too (you'll find them everywhere in Gatlinburg lol) Location: Technically in meet-up at their HQ in Hartford TN, so make sure you account for driving time! They bus us to the TN-NC border. FAMILY-FRIENDLY? Yes! I saw plenty of teens and parents on the rafts, especially families that have never white-water rafting! DIFFICULTY: I didn't have any trouble staying in the boat and only saw one person (out of probably 50 people) fall out, but was safely pulled back into a raft! RECOMMEND? Absolutely. It was a great outdoor activity to do with family and I really enjoyed the views of the Smoky Mountains while rafting! Make sure to wear sunscreen since the rafting isn't very shady!

Well, I did my research and this is definitely the campground where this happened. To be clear,…read morethis is the park located at 2479 Riverbend Loop, Unit 1, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863, just off of Henderson Chapel Road. This is the location with the central fishing pond that has the small island in the middle, the decorative 'old-timey' outhouse, and the little cabin where you sign in and they sell merchandise. I was here with my family around Winter 2019-2020. I was on my evening walk and saw a campground worker driving a golf cart up the steep hill. There was a family and their kids watching him drive recklessly. As he went around the bend and came back down, he hit a slope and the whole golf cart flipped over. The cart was headed straight for me; I could have stepped aside and let it crash, but I decided to be a nice person and save the cart from hitting people below. I stopped the cart and parked it. As I walked towards the worker to check if he was ok and see if I could help, his pants fell down, and the nearby family started pointing and laughing at him. The worker was a white male, about 6ft tall, heavyset with a scruffy beard. Later that night, while I was out taking pictures of the fireworks, he and a friend--a tall, skinny white male with long black hair about 6ft 2in--drove their golf carts past me at alarming speeds, flipped me off, and called me the N-word. I was only a freshman in high school at the time and was in a daze at what I had seen. I haven't had a lot of incidents like this so you can imagine my reaction. I called the office to report this, and the woman I spoke to was dismissive and tried to claim they don't have an island in their pond or that I have the wrong park. She even tried to claim I described a 'young man' when I never did--I specifically described a 6ft, heavyset man with a beard at the time that I was tell her this which is funny because he was a young man and thus proving my point that she knows exactly who he is. I know exactly where I was because of the specific layout of the island and the office cabin at this address. If these men are still employed here, they should be terminated. No guest, especially a teenager, should be subjected to racial slurs and harassment by staff.
