Being first time home buyers Karla and her team at Keller Williams provided us with a lot of…read moreinformation and answered all of our questions with a lot of knowledge and experience. She was kind and you just knew she would do whatever it took to do her best by you. Her and her team were responsive late unto the evenings and all 7 days of the week. We had a hiccup with a shady seller's agent (we were the buyers) where we believed he would use common practice and ethics. However, unfortunately we lost a portion of our escrow even though we believed, through our conversations with Karla and her team, that we were still safe. Karla felt awful about this and made this right as we regrouped from a bad real estate deal and provided a credit at closing on the next home. This kind of integrity speaks VOLUMES! In the last 72 hours of the transactions to purchase our first home, there was silence from all at the KW team and this was frustrating and confusing since her team had ALWAYS been so responsive and helpful up until this point. We gave her and her team the benefit of the doubt and we were happy to see her smiling face at our closing table! In some ways it felt as if we had been through a challenging mission with her and we were grateful to have her and her team on our side. Even after closing Karla and her team helped to provide some information for us. Karla, Florentino, and Katie were always happy and encouraging to speak with (even when things were not going well with negotiations.) They took me from a nervous buyer who thought she'd never find the right house in a tiny mile or two radius, at the right price to a successful new homeowner who is thrilled with her new purchase. She's known around the community for her active participation on boards and committees and I know a few people she's worked with in the past, so when I was buying this house on my own and was a bit terrified, I figured I should reach out to Beth. Luckily, from our first consult to her handing me the most amazing new home gift bag (Check the pics!), and every frantic text of mine in between, Beth was around with a smile and a solution. Her team offered me options and quotes for three inspection companies (and set up my appointment once I chose one), and got insurance quotes for me from multiple insurance agencies. This just isn't something I have experienced before when watching my sister and parents go through the home buying experience. In addition, she helped me win a final bid situation without going way over the highest offer (pretty sure she used some magic there). I probably saved $7k right there just in her knowledge of seldom-used real estate techniques. We told him some homes we were interested in and he brought other great candidates -- he took us through all of them, but we just could not find something in our budget. My wife and I thought we would have to wait a few months until something else came in the market, but maybe a week or two went by and Steven found a new build that was almost completed -- it was not even listed on any of the big websites (Zillow, etc.). We had a fabulous Florida Mid Century house that when we bought it had been upgraded with all the designer fixings and a spacious backyard with room for the 15x 30 6 ft deep pool we built with all new landscaping, turf, slabs and marble creating a resort style backyard. We knew we could probably break even so when a house came up on the market for close to what we were wanting to list I went to the open house to get the low down from the listing agent. On that day I met Mary Heidrich and I knew right away that she was good people. She was charming, warm and friendly and I could tell she was not the typical Floridian Realtor who seemed to look out only for personal gain and greed which was something very important to us since we wanted someone we could trust. A month later we listed and because of Marys trust in our home, expertise and most likely her charm to the buyer we received an all cash offer near asking price and we broke even and then some.
