The Tuesday before our charter, I confirmed with both Brent and his employee. We were supposed to show up to Fisherman's Wharf pier at 6:30am. At 6am, I texted his employee to tell him we were running 10 minutes late. That employee had already left with a different crew, Brent had double-booked our charter despite confirming just four days earlier. He didn't have any other employees that would come in, so our charter was cancelled. We obviously wouldn't recommend SF Boat and Captain Brent. He's not reliable for group events.

Captain Jarrod and Captain Brent always show us a great time. The bay tour included some amazing views and interesting history tidbits while we sipped a beer and enjoyed the bay breeze. The crab/fishing trip was an especially cool experience. We did a family trip and chartered the boat for the day. We each got to try pulling in a crab pot, pulling the crabs out, and throwing the pots back in the water. After we checked and replaced all of the crab pots we did some fishing for rockfish. We had a couple bites, but didn't catch too many fish. However, we did all hit the limit on crab, which I believe is 10 each. We had so much crab that we didn't even know what to do with it! (Read: crab cakes for DAYS ) Overall, we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our fill of fresh crab. We can't wait to do it again!

This took about an hour or a little longer. You go under the Golden Gate Bridge and then pass by Alcatraz on your way back. There's even a recording playing telling you what landmarks are across and near you aid gives you a little back story of things. Overall; a must do!

But, once we boarded everything was smooth sailing - mostly haha. The take off and docking were a bit choppy, but other than that it was a smooth ride. The route and duration were great! We are all from the area but have skipped the touristy things. Well we sufficiently got a taste of everything on this cruise. It was properly 2 hours - passed Golden Gate Bridge, bay bridge, Alcatraz, and Oracle Park which was cool to see from the water side. While there was no sunset, we did get good weather and clear enough skies. The one and only thing we would change is the narration - it was awful, awkward, not super informative, and could use major improvements. The staff was fantastic and made for a smooth onboarding. Overall, great cruise around the bay and for a super reasonable price for a 2 hour cruise!
