Purchased a groupon for holiday photos. We had an appt at 1 and we didn't have our photos taken until 1:30. The "studio" is one room behind a current. There is no room for those waiting to sit. After our photos we waited almost 30 mins to see the pics. While I understand it takes a while to load the images it was way long. Then we waited a really long time for the photos to be printed. The entire process took over two hours!! And the worst part is that the pics are mediocre at best. We ordered Christmas cards and ran out so I placed another order. Given how long it took us the first time, I called ahead and placed the over so they would be ready when I got there. Well they were ready but they didn't print the writing on them. Then they had the wrong pictures. Again this whole ordeal took almost a half an hour. To "compensate" me for having to wait, they gave me the order of cards they had printed incorrectly. While it was a nice gesture, didn't like them so I wouldn't be sending them out. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Mayfair is much different and better! read more

Excellent experience here. Had 3 kids in for a shoot, 15,15 and 4. Photographer had great ideas for accommodating all kids which isn't always easy with the age gap. She even read my mind a couple of times with her suggestions. During the review/ordering procrss, Cassandra was patient and helpful and I never felt pressured to hurry up and finish. Walked out of there with 8 sheets of pictures, a beautifully finished 3 shot picture frame and a cd with a of the pictures taken with copyrights so that I can do what I choose with them. Awesome deal! I'll be back, this time with the whole family including my husband, my dog and myself. read more

Horrible! Called on Wednesday, made an appointment for Saturday before nap time since I was coming with two kids. They messed up our appointment and made it for sunday. Not our fault! I knew I made Saturday since we were busy Sunday. So they told us to come in by 11. Got there at 10:45. They proceeded to tell us "we are next" like 5 times..... 3 hours later they took our pictures. They were horrible. Not one picture with the kids actually smiling.... Ugh!!! Walked out with nothing! So frustrated and disappointed!!!!! read more

Terrible experience! We arrived about 20 min early for our appointment. They didn't see us until about 40 min after our scheduled appointment. By that point my toddler was already on her way to a meltdown, it was hard to keep her hair straight etc. We finally got into our session and it was just ok. The photographer was very friendly but the set was kind of dirty. We did one outfit change for our daughter and tried to also get a family shot. We changed our daughter as fast as we could but the photographer was helping the one other woman on duty with the printer and my daughter was beyond her breaking point. We only were able to take a few shots as a family and none of them came out well. In fact of all the pictures we had a hard time picking any because they were just not good. After we finished our shoot we had to wait 30 min to see our photos. No one even tried to help us pick out our pictures but when it came to the package picking they of course started out with the most expensive option. There was a printer malfunction and couldn't print our pictures that day. When I called ahead they said the whole thing should take no more than 1 hour. We were there for at least two hours. Then, because the printer was messed up they asked me to come back for them - we live 25 min away and I wasn't going to be driving back to Brookfield. I asked them to mail them to me. They said it'd be no problem. Well, two weeks later we still haven't received our photos. I called today and they were still sitting there, with no intention of being sent. The woman on the phone was very nice and they're FedEXing them today, but I'm so annoyed. Lastly, there was such a back-up and basically when you go there you feel like it's a photo farm or something. They are just trying to get as many people in and out as possible. With the prices they charge, the service is so not worth it! I would never go back there again and I would never recommend them to anyone that I know. read more

Where do I start? First, our session was double booked but they called me to reschedule for May 2 which I appreciated. When we arrived we had to wait 45 min for our session to begin (they had one person working: doing both the photography, developing, and sales), so it wasn't really her fault we had to wait so long. Our session was as expected for a picture people quality (you pay for what you get); however their print wasn't printing 10x13 prints (which I needed) but the manager Joni (who arrived by this time) said I could still order a 10x13 print and she would get it printed over at Mayfaire the NEXT DAY, and then call me when it was finished. We waited for two hours for them to try and print the rest of my order. I eventually asked if I could just come back another time to pick them up. They called a few days later and said my prints were in so I picked them up but my 10x13 print was not included (the girl who gave them to me had no clue I had a print missing), so she said she would call me when it was ready. A week went by and I called them because I hadn't heard anything; got the manager and she said she was going to print it the NEXT DAY (it has now been a week and a half since my session). Another week goes by I call them again and she said they tried to call me (I never received a voice-mail) because they lost my order slip and didn't know what print I wanted for my 10x13 so they printed TWO copies of two different shots (why two of each. really?) neither of the shots they chose was the one I needed, so she said they would print the shot I needed and fedex it to me so I didn't have to keep coming into the store (the manager took down my address). A few days later I get a call saying my print was ready and to call them with my address if I wanted them to send it to me. I call and get the manager again and tell her that she should already have my address because she took it down last time I talked to her, she said she sent it YESTERDAY (May 7th) and she threw in a picture cd (which was only a 10x13 print on a cd). I didn't receive it for a while but thought maybe they did standard shipping and it might take 7-10 business days. I received it May 18th and the shipping date on the package said May 16th (a week and a half after I had talked to Joni and she said she shipped it out). In the end, I will never go to picture people again thanks to the manager and how she handled things. I tried to give grace because their printer wasn't working, but that means you need to step up your game even more and keep things in order. Horrible customer service (I was the one doing most of the follow up), she lied, the wait time for my session was unacceptable with a newborn and toddler, and general communication was horrible. read more

Appointment was at 11:40am for newborn and family pics. It is now 2pm and we are still here. Poor service in time efficiency. The photographer did nothing wrong and never rushed us because she was behind by 20 minutes with customers. I don't think we will come back because trying to have a 15 month old and 6 day old wait for this long is ridiculous. I am disappointed because somebody actually recommended this place to us. read more

I chose this location thinking it would be more targeted towards toddlers-NOT! It's a tiny room behind a curtain with no waiting area. We walked in with no appointment, so the only positive I can say is that they had a slot open in 20 minutes...which turned into 35 minutes because their backdrops weren't working. Finally when we had our session the photographer took out her small camera and talked to my son like he was a dog. The only reason we liked a few of the photos was because we posed him and chose the props. Most of them were blurry! To top it all off they basically pushed us in to getting a big package which was way more expensive than we anticipated! No coincidence that they have no pricing posted! Purchased a Groupon to have 1 year photos taken of my son as well as an updated family photo. It was very easy to book an appointment online and I cannot say enough about how wonderful Chrissy is at the Brookfield location! My son does not like to sit still and she was great at trying different things to get a handsome photo of him smiling as well as a beautiful family portrait. Chrissy is a phenominal and hard working employee, even though she was down an employee she never stopped smiling and was very polite and skilled in making sure we received great service and great photos. At one point she was even taking care of three of us customers at one time, remained upbeat, cheerful, and still provided great customer service. I can only imagine how frazzled she must have felt, but you would have never guessed it with how friendly and attentive she was to meeting everyone's needs. I absolutely love how our photos turned out, that we were able to leave with them today, and how welcome Chrissy made us feel. We will definately be back for more photos with Chrissy! read more

We've used PP several times in the past & always had a pleasant experience & nice photos from various locations. We went to a PP location at the Buy Buy Baby in Brookfield, WI & at best were underwhelmed. There was only one person working at the photo "kiosk". We had to wait a minute while she finished with another customer, which was completely acceptable. But when she took our family into the photo area to take the pictures, she kept stopping to look at the camera & push buttons. While she tried to engage my small children during the photo shoot, we lost a lot of opportunities for some quality shots because she was fiddling with the camera. When I saw the final results, after a solid 20 minutes of photography, squirrely kids, & waiting for the photos to "upload", there were only about 15 shots to choose from. And the last 5 - 7 were repeats that she had edited into black/white, sepia, or added words to the image. In the past the coupons & good photos kept us returning. There was even one shot of my kids that was fuzzy & when I asked the PP employee about it she said, "That's how we do the kissing picture, it's always a bit out of focus." I could seriously do better w/ my phone than she did w/ all that equipment. We will not be going back. read more
