There are no prices, just color plastic tags. PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS! WAY OVERPRICED! They will sell anything and everything and price it very high. Even old work shirts with company logos on it! I was purchasing 2 black polo shirts and 1 Black collared button down shirt for work . When I asked for the prices, I was shocked. Each Polo Shirts was priced at $15 each! I can buy a similar black polo shirt at Target for $12 and I know that because I bought 2 of them the day before in riverhead the day before but I needed more of them so I decided to look at salvation army to see what they had. I did not purchase them. Not for a used faded black polo shirt ! I did buy the 1 button down which was priced at $7.50. I needed clothes for work. I am in disbelief. A sandwich Panini press was priced at $26! WOW! I can get one at Walmart for the same or even less! Go to Savers instead and use a 20% off coupon when you make a donation. And I don't give a fuck if it pays for their programs or whatever. Dont rip the public off! December 22nd, 2025. The Salvation Army "Replied" to my review with a generic response. If you look, its the same exact reply to every bad review.

By far, the worst experience I've ever had in a Goodwill, ANYWHERE…read more The selection of items is decent- I found a few pieces and so did my gf. However, The staff at this location- horrendous. Rude. Unbothered. Immature. Disrespectful. Came in on Sunday around 4:30-5 and it was pretty busy, a lot of shoppers for the location, surprisingly. The workers couldn't be bothered to keep up with traffic though- it seemed to greatly inconvenience all of them, actually having to do the job they applied and were hired for... big surprise. Out of the 6 or 7 registers they have only one was open, and it was being operated by TWO employees. Perhaps she was being trained which I can understand- but there was another 4/5 employees behind the register seemingly not working; chatting with each other, eating a bag of chips, (if you're on break, go somewhere to take it, this way it isn't assumed you're just a lazy employee who cares more about snack time than their job,) scratching their head or staring blankly at the walls or floor or dead in to your eyes with not an ounce of care or basic respect. The line grows and customers are ignored, can't even be greeted with a smile or a, "thank you for your patience we will be right with you," nothing. I don't have a problem waiting my turn, but I do have a problem with being treated like an inconvenience, or ignored. The bare minimum of polite decency isn't hard- or it shouldn't be at least. I needed to try something on and they lock their fitting rooms. I caught who I believe, (from over-hearing,) was the manager as she was opening a fitting room for another person. I said, "excuse me," before she went back behind the counter, and I was greeted by her with a child-like, slow, stomping turn-around and eyes rolled back into her head. I'm so sorry- but could you please unlock the door that's 1ft away from you? She made some smart comment along the lines of, "Oh, you're smart, you caught me while I was already over here," yeah, lucky me, it must be like pulling teeth to take a few steps and open a door for your patrons. I checked out shortly after, we were up to 2 registers open now-- progress! Gave the woman my account number, bought my items, and waited for my gf to finish trying hers on. By the time she was ready to check out we were back to the dual-operated single register, with 4/5 employees still behind the counter, busy with.... whatever else they tell you they're busy with. I see someone walk up to an un-operated register, thinking they're coming to assist me, we walk over, only to be ignored again- a brief glance, no words. Told by another employee that they're not open. Are they also mute? Or am I too repulsive for them to address me with their words? I'm at my peak level of being fed-up by this point, with thin patience, I just want to get my gfs things and leave. Finally, an employee stops their side objective to assist us. She's asks for my account number. I tell her. I'm told she can't find it. I say, " that's strange, the other lady found it no problem." My response triggered this immature employee, who then walked away from the register and refused to help me for, "giving her attitude." Now, all of the sudden, the chip eater is able to get up and assist me in place of her temper-tantrum-throwing co-worker. If she was able to get up and work then, couldn't you have done the same thing 10, 15, 20 minutes ago??? The whole time I'm being checked out the brat employee is pacing back and forth, raising her voice and making a huge scene. This, all while the supervisor is there doing the cash outs on registers- he says nothing to the employee and just moves on in silence as she loses it... How are you a supervisor? Do you not see an issue with how your employee is behaving right now? One employee checking us out, the other still yelling at me, saying that the reason only one register is open is because of the cash outs- pretty stupid as well if you ask me. Here's a genius business idea for you all, CASH OUT AT DIFFERENT TIMES. Literally, do one cash out at a time, or stagger the times you do them. I'm not the boss, but there are soooo many solutions that would allow you to keep more than a single register open at a time- which would avoid this entire situation from transpiring. Anyway. I'm done with my rant. If I'm correct in my assumptions on worker positions- that supervisor should be fired, that manager should be demoted, and that temper tantrum employee needs to get some HR anger management help. Blame me for being impatient. But the problem isn't me, it's your terrible business practices, and your obvious, genuine lack of care for the customers. Support ANY other thrift or goodwill. Thanks!
