This place has 26 clean and well lit courts, an awesome platinum club, locker rooms, and great food. 5 star!

Great indoor courts. With A/C for hot Texas summers or rainy May days. Staff was welcoming and kind.

Why have volleyball tournaments if you don't like having volleyball teams and parents at your facility.

Open play here is very reasonably priced if you get the right timeslot, you could end up playing the entire time.

They recently resurfaced several of their courts and they are superb! My husband and I started as a non-members to try it out, but quickly became members. There are daily open plays where you can walk in and always join in a game. We play 3-5 times a week in 55+ senior open play, which has a morning or afternoon session daily. It's the community of players which bring us back and we have made so many new friends on and off the courts! Give it a try! They offer free beginner classes if you're a newbie! No matter what your age is, you're going to love this place, make new friends and love the experience!

We did their pickleball 101, liked what we experienced and started to get in deeper. We joined the club. Each did private lessons with Tanner Rice (he is great), did the beginner open play today and will continue to take advantage of the programs they have. Awesome experience! Comfortable environment. Everyone is really nice and supportive. If you want to explore the world of pickleball, this is the place. At tonights Beginner Open Play, the owners were actively present making sure we were comfortable with the other participants. No one sandbagged and exploited their skill versus ours. It was a very safe, learning experience. There is absolutely no reason to feel intimidated in participating in their programs. Well done DIP!!!!!

I love Preston Playhouse - it's a really cool rec center offering pickleball, padel and a bar to relax for work events and family/friend get-togethers. In DFW there are what I call "Pickleball Operations" and "Places That Offer Pickleball." Unfortunately where I am in the game, Preston Placehouse is more of a "Place That Offers Pickleball" - which isn't what I'm looking for but may be great for you. The courts are colorful and (mostly) in great shape and the spacing is pretty good. They have morning ($10) and evening ($15) open plays which isn't the most expensive in town but not the cheapest. The Open Plays are All Levels, so a bit of a gamble in terms of the quality of player you will find. Last night I found some really good ones but there weren't many. When I first went there there were more, but it seems like they may be choosing places like Pickler Universe and The Picklr. Preston Playhouse though is a fun atmosphere and great place to bring friends or your own group but it's not a pickleball community focused on ramping up competition or teaching skills and it doesn't try to be.

While we were there for our private event, there was a tournament wrapping up, others who rented individual courts with friends, and a birthday party. - The space: Preston Playhouse is in an old, air conditioned gym so the courts are set up in an open area with a bar / lounge space and arcade games. There are 9 pickleball courts, 2 padel courts, and a swimming pool. - The service: We were easily able to schedule a private event via email. There was someone onsite to ensure everything went smoothly. We had paddles and balls for our group, snacks ordered via catering, and drink tickets. Our bartender provided great drink recommendations and the coconut lime mocktail was the favorite of the group. - The pricing: Preston Playhouse has monthly memberships that receive discounted rates, but non-members can book courts and participate in open play at a slightly higher price. For our event, the courts were $50/court/hour with a minimum of two courts. Equipment, pickleball pros, food, and beverage were all optional add ons. I appreciated that there wasn't a food and beverage minimum like many other pickleball spots in the area.

Life Time Las Colinas means a lot to me. As a Day 1 member, I've spent countless hours there over…read morethe last two years since its opening. In many areas, the club shines - its strength and conditioning equipment, instructors, and health programming are unmatched and, most importantly, I've met great people. As good as the club is, and no doubt, great things are happening there, it's really expensive - and the last several months I have constantly been questioning if I should be paying what I do. I mentioned in my first review in July I felt the club was slipping. No question I have, and deserve to have, the highest expectations for this place but that comes from them. They promise us an "athletic country club" experience and charge for it - so I expect them to deliver. Over the last year, this club has been dealing with a serious member trend related to its big ticket item - the men's rejuvenation suite in the locker room, consisting of a hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna, and wet sauna. Quite often, it's a wreck - as are other sections of the locker room. Wet towels and trash crumpled on the floor and in seating areas and in corners around this section of the club. There's sludge on sections of the floor at night after the big rush. Many of the men members of this club are acting like slobs - and Life Time isn't keeping up. I feel like the maintenance crew tries hard, but I've also seen them blow past the suite without even sticking their head in for a status check - as if they have other priorities than one of their biggest competitive advantages when it comes to amenities. I really feel like Life Time without this is mostly a four- or five-star facility - but this issue knocks it down several pegs. It's exhausting.

I've been a Life Time member for years and have trained at multiple clubs across the country. My…read moreexperience at the Las Colinas location was a serious deviation from the standard I've seen elsewhere. In August, I had a confrontation with a trainer over a minor policy issue that escalated far beyond what was appropriate. The trainer got into my personal space, spoke aggressively, and attempted to escalate the interaction in front of other members and a client. That behavior should never occur in a professional fitness environment. I immediately escalated the incident to the training manager and later to the club general manager. Rather than implementing effective mitigation, both relied on procedural responses and repeatedly stated the issue was "handled" without taking practical steps to prevent continued interaction or escalation. Months later, I continued to encounter the same trainer regularly, including unnecessary proximity while I was actively using equipment. Despite multiple follow-ups, the training manager and club general manager treated the matter as closed while the situation persisted in practice. This review is not about Life Time as a brand overall. It is about a specific club where leadership failed to meaningfully address a serious staff conduct issue. When management prioritizes procedural closure over real mitigation, it creates avoidable risk for members.
