The service is fast and friendly, very welcoming. But the fillings? So tasty. Chocolate is the kiddos fave but they are so good even if you get the plain ones, yum. I got 2 boxes, they were made fresh this morning. Although I'm normally more partial to vanilla, the chocolate ones are sooo good and taste amazing with coffee. I haven't tried the other ones yet in my box but I also have pumpkin, raspberry, and caramel apple. Breakfast is already looking promising. I've been told they are at the Farmers Market at Park West each Saturday, that's where we picked them up. (Since it was at a farmers market, it was the standard cheery but busy farmers market vibes) Don't skip this!!!

A woman at the farm attempted to aggressively gaslight me, screamed over me while I was trying to speak, refused to issue a refund for services not rendered, and arbitrarily canceled my active subscription without my consent. To top it off, right before hanging up on me, I heard her laughing to her coworker in the background saying, "I'm not talking to her!" That tells you everything you need to know about the maturity level and character of the trashy people running this place. Over the course of trying to get basic information regarding my weekly pickup, I reached out through every single channel provided: the designated CSA line, the farm store number, Instagram, and even their restaurant/wholesale line (which, embarrassingly, is a dead line). Not a single person answered. To make matters worse, when messages did go through, I was repeatedly left on read. A few weeks ago, I had to waste an hour of my day driving 40 minutes out of my way to the physical store just to get basic questions answered because their customer service department is utterly non-existent (a fact that even their own front-desk worker acknowledged with total confusion and annoyance). Taking people's money and then stonewalling them when they ask simple, necessary questions about the service they paid for is negligent, amateurish, and fundamentally disrespectful. They should be thoroughly ashamed of how makeshift, disorganized, and dismissive this entire operation is. Didn't have to wait long, they loaded it in my car, and thank goodness bc the box was heavy when I was bringing it into my house. Good thing my fingernails were short or I might have chipped a nail. If you're weak like I am, you might want to get help bringing it in your house. It was hot though and I only wanted to make 1 trip so I did it. Anyway, important stuff-good variety of stuff. Waiting a another gentleman comes in signs in after me I've already signed in and personally I feel because he was a light-skinned Mexican descent and the interviewer is a light-skinned Mexican descent I am half black half Mexican she comes to the counter looks at the list I'm first in a list appointment at 9:00 and calls him also I would like to add that as he was signing in to ask what he was there for and they said road test and the second interview calls him back there then 10 minutes later he comes sits down she calls me back there and says we only have one person testing today that actually administers the driving test and he is going to do him first and it takes 30 minutes so can you wait 45 minutes I said my appointment was at 9:00 I was here first you skipped me that is very unprofessional she said oh he was supposed to do his road test 3 days ago he did not have his DOT card yet but I did and scheduled for 9:00 and you put me on the back burner for him not filling out his paperwork or doing the correct thing and on the site of the job it said Dot card is part of the qualifications to having the job please somebody inform me and tell me what is going on

My partner got a large caldo ($8) and a half pound of chicharrones. I saw that they also sell ceviche & aguachiles. Yum. I was impressed by the pricing and the taste of what I got that first visit, so I definitely will be back for the seafood stuff. I did end up buying two canned sodas from their store. The Diet Dr Pepper was old and tasted pretty close to pure carbonated water. The Manzanita Sol was also on the older end and flavor was fading out of it. They weren't really that cold either. I would've gotten water bottles, but those weren't cold, despite sitting next to the vegetables. So...miss on the "cold drinks" availability. Maybe I'll just get deli stuff to go instead of eating there next time. There are 3 tables off to the east end of the property set up for eating. They even have some of their hot sauces on the table for sampling with your food. I did not try any, though. If I eat here again, maybe I'll just try bringing in my Stanley cup full of something cold to drink. I'll update you on the sauces when I get to sample them.
