The greens are some of the best in town and the fairways get better filled in every year. Traps are mostly redone and the creek on #8 is beautifully cleaned up and widened with rock water features. The grill is fantastic for burgers and beers after a round. They are super accommodating to leagues and we get a great rate for walking 9 holes every week. Glad in an era where some of the great public courses are tiring into new subdivisions that Thai course is opening and back in its glory. The owners also bought another distressed course The Rock a few years back. I have heard they are turning that course around as well. If you haven't played here in a awhile book a tee time and enjoy.

The fairways and greens of this course are very well maintained. However, the design's many blind…read moreshots and tall, unkept vegetation in front of many greens leads to slow play as players search for their ball. The "Cart Path Only" holes require traversing up and down steep slopes to get from cart path to the fairway. A hazardous situation for senior golfers given the risk of injury due to a fall. If you plan to play this course, be sure to pack plenty of golf balls....and plenty of patience. You're going to need them.

The GM should have them take customer service training on how to answer a simple question. I responded after I was told the cost was $40 that I was senior citizen, "Friday day rate $40!" I decided that I didn't want to purchase my customery souvenir from the proshop. I understand that he has had to respond to similar questions many times, but I was only asking not demanding. Luckily, I don't judge the establishment and rest of the staff as most people do when confronted with poor CS, is why I gave Willow Creek 3 stars. 5 stars for the course super and concessions. Zero for the single person in the proshop. The owner should invest in Customer Training classes for his staff.

Nice because the shut the course down at 12n & only Rumbling Bald resort guests can play so we had the course to ourselves! Great conditions! Greens rolled & in great shape! It's a mountain course so you are rewarded with shots in the narrow fairways! Great clubhouse especially if you're playing early. It was so peaceful and nice. We actually came for a destination wedding! Not sure how many weddings they do, but we had a great time. Beautiful wedding & no complaints as a guest.
