Hi, I had a tee time at 2:40 today (Aug 7th). I came from work to the course, I got a little tied…read moreup because I'm a manager and I can't leave the store until the other manager gets in to replace me. I change, get out and head to the course knowing i'll show up just in time. Me and my friend walk up to the counter as the clock turns to 2:40, he tells me that we're late, after I say that it's our tee time at the moment, he asks "Are you on the teebox?!" in a very rude tone. I respond and say that it won't take but a few minutes to get there, he says "No. You those people on the teebox now? You'd be playing with them." We respond and day that it's fine if we do, he still seems very frustrated, he allows us to pay and as I'm putting our bags on the carts my friend comes out and says his Apple Pay didn't work, so I let him use my card. When he came back out he said that the man behind the counter (the same man) gave him a very hard time about mistakingly leaving his wallet in his truck and that we should have just came earlier. The men on the teebox were the 2:50 tee time and we were still out there 5 minutes before they were supposed to tee off, we let them tee off and then the 3:20 tee time pulls up behind us (before the 3:00 tee time was even there, and they started playing). Me and my friend finished the 18 holes 10 minutes ahead of average pace but we were both still very disappointed in the service in the pro shop, even though he is right about being earlier, I couldn't help get there the time I did because I have a job and a responsibility at my job. I didn't even know we could call the shop to say we were late and them account for that, no mercy or grace was shown. I didn't get the man's name but he was very angry, rude, and immature. I like Greer golf because it's cheaper but I don't know if I want to come back after service like that. Thank you for your time.

The GM should have them take customer service training on how to answer a simple question. I responded after I was told the cost was $40 that I was senior citizen, "Friday day rate $40!" I decided that I didn't want to purchase my customery souvenir from the proshop. I understand that he has had to respond to similar questions many times, but I was only asking not demanding. Luckily, I don't judge the establishment and rest of the staff as most people do when confronted with poor CS, is why I gave Willow Creek 3 stars. 5 stars for the course super and concessions. Zero for the single person in the proshop. The owner should invest in Customer Training classes for his staff.

Can play a little short from white tees but there are blue and championship tees way back if you are better player. Great rates late in afternoon. My kid and I can play 9 holes with a cart for $32 after 4pm. Old complaint was that people weren't repairing divots on greens. No more. Either these new greens are more durable or players are finally repairing.

The greens and cart fee were fair given the outstanding conditions of the course and carts. Beautiful course and scenery. Greens were relatively fast (maybe an 11 on Stimp). The pro shop staff and bag attendants were helpful and courteous. Carts were loaded with courtesy cooler/ice/water. Crossed paths with the cart girl three times during play. Pace of play for a full course on a Friday morning tee time was 4:05 which is fine by me as it was the first time playing and wanted just a hair more time on each shot. If you are a mid-handicap or higher, play the white tees first and then move to the mix of white/purple for the second round as you become more familiar. Will be coming back next month for another round. Practice facility and turn-house should be re-opening in October as that was completely overhauled. Have lunch adjacent to the pro shop at the Lucky Duck Cafe, it was very good as well!

Rough in front of the greens very reasonable but avoid missing to the sides, where the rough gets really interesting. Water on multiple holes that adds to the challenge. Read the grain on the greens as it has more effect on ball speed here than on most courses I've played. Well equipped pro shop and the people there couldn't be nicer. The course can be easily walked but carts are available as well as lessons. Putting green helps you warm up for your round and the players here actually let my son and myself play through two different groups that were slower than us. When is the last time you saw that? I don't play par 3 that often but when I do I definitely come here to improve my short game.

This place has multiple video…read moregolf bays where you hit into a screen and a camera watches the ball and simulates where it will go. The camera also records your stance and swing. Wade does a great job showing you what you are doing wrong and helping you fix it. We have made a lot of improvements already in 3 lessons on my irons and driver. I think this place offers great value. You can come here and play 18 holes of video golf but I have not done that yet.

I got the fried pickle appetizer and the chicken BLT as my entree. Great pickles. Crispy outside with great dill flavor inside. The chicken BLT also had a great flavor. Juicy chicken with thick cut bacon. YES! There are several pickleball courts inside so you can watch while you enjoy a good meal. They also have a full bar and one of the best Bloody Mary's. I won't tell you how many I had but they were tasty! And not as loud as you would think on the inside. Even with 4 inside courts being used, we were all (table of 14) were still able to carry on a conversation without having to yell. They also have a great outside patio area with more courts. Can't wait to return when the weather cools off some to sit outside!!

Multiple malfunctions and there was a wonky board right before the headpin I would come back, the vibe of the place is nice It's laid back and it is affordable compared to the fancier places so there is the trade off. Affordable, jist not super flashy updated decor and all that stuff. I dug the place even with its few flaws. I'm sure you'll enjoy your bowling experience, I know I did.
