I will say that their plants and pumpkins during those times of the years are a bit overpriced but their mum's in the fall are really pretty. We do try to avoid coming during peak hours because it can get very crowded, very easily. I'd actually love to see them get a bigger building so that shopping was a bit easier for customers.

They do not till or spray their land with pesticides or herbicides, and the aquaponics raises fish in tanks and grows plants in water. Moon Farm sells their foods through their on-site store (which is open seasonally and by request), through their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) for members, and through farmers markets (in parts of Ohio and on Market Wagon). I have placed online orders for dozens of Moon Farm's foods. I have enjoyed the fresh flavors of their mushrooms, broccoli, lettuce mixes, yellow squashes, green bell peppers, yellow bell peppers, red onions, red potatoes, Yukon potatoes, sugar snap peas, shishito peppers, and jalapeño peppers. My cats felt very interested in eating this farm's organic wheat grass and catnip. My husband and dog enjoyed the flavor of the free-range duck eggs.

This is a self serve stand located inside a super cute barn space. It's on the honor system so you just pick out what you would like and write up a receipt for your total. Accepts cash and mobile payments. I bought some veggies, loose leaf tea, done frozen meats and some blueberry lavender jelly that is delicious!! The area is beautiful, and it was easy to find. Prices are very high on some items, more than you would pay for same item in a discount or even regular grocery store. They had advertised beef steak tomatoes on sale as well as a good deal on blueberries. Got there and found out the tomatoes were hot house, all of their tomatoes are, couldn't find the blueberries so I asked a worker and her very curt reply was, "we're out." I don't believe, as in days of old, that their produce is farm fresh as first of all; a legitimate farmers market sells local farm produce and not something shipped in from a Hothouse in Michigan. I don't believe there was one produce item in the store actually grown on a local farm as most of it seemed to have been shipped in from somewhere. Their baked goods seem to be from a local Amish bakery but not fresh, it is frozen. That same Amish bakery also sells in the local supermarkets and very expensive. I picked up a loaf of multigrain bread not locally made that was still partially frozen and more expensive than I would pay for at my local grocer. I didn't want to leave empty handed so I bought a tomato, some banana's that were priced well below supermarket bananas, and an eggplant a little more expensive than supermarket. The cashier was a young girl and very friendly.
