They offer a small selection of sandwiches including turkey, ham, bbq and pulled pork. We ordered the turkey and pulled pork and took them outside to eat at one of their picnic tables. It's a very relaxing environment, especially on a cool day. The ice cream is excellent, sold by the scoop. The young ladies behind the counter were very pleasant. A great find our next TN adventure!

3 1/2 stars... we just stayed there last week for 5 days…read more *The good: 1) Sites for our RV are good sized and Nicely spaced. 2) It is convenient to the falls 3) The camp store had good ice cream and gifts of which we bought a fair amount. 4) The young lady running the office was nice. The Camp Host Lisa was terrific . *Not so good: 1) The promise of free WiFi was nonexistent! ZIP ZERO NADA! Avoid Site 4 if you want WiFi. Even when we had no 'neighbors' on either side, nothing! I would get a bar, BUT... a minute later it was GONE. Not any 5G either just LTE and no WiFi. I was advised by Lisa to turn off my phone, restart.... Nope not better. Tried several other things with same results...nothing. I wasted a lot of my vacation time trying to connect on their WiFi. One evening I took a walk to the far end of the camp and had full bars there for wifi...go figure... According to staff our Site 4 was really close to the office, and should have good reception... nope, wrong. When I requested something of any curtesy refund I was told No. Not sure we will be back to this camp ground.

Cummins Falls State Park is located 10 miles north of the town of Cookeville, in Central Tennessee…read more Can you go swimming at Cummins Falls??? Of course you can! It's a 1 mile hike down to the bottom of a gorge to reach a swimming hole Travel and Leisure Magazine rates...as one of the "10 Best in the United States"! It's $7 to gain access to the gorge. You can purchase passes online ahead of time at tnstateparks.com. Or, you can buy passes inside the Visitor Center the day of, but they allot only 200 tickets per day so depending upon the time of year, passes can sell out quickly especially during peak summers. Now...there is a waterfall overlook to check out but I think it'd be more worthwhile to get to Cummins Falls ASAP before the crowds arrive and you can always visit the lookout on the return trip back up towards the trailhead. Once you reach the river area, it's 6/10th's of a mile remaining until you arrive at the falls. Also, make sure to hang towards the left while hiking beside the river and (imo) it's imperative to be wearing water shoes as the creek is filled with sharp rocks and water levels reaching shin high. While hiking to Cummins Falls, you really get a sense for being in the heart of nature. I enjoyed the setting. Approaching the falls, it's 75 feet of cascading waters flowing down the cliffside and ideal for swimming. Best of all, visitors can climb the rocks and explore at their leisure making for an adventurous experience. Of course, it's a rite of passage to finish the experience in style by going swimming. The park opens at 8am. I'd suggest arriving as early as possible before it gets busy. The park closes at 6pm but there's a clearly stated sign that visitors must exit the gorge area by 5pm. One extra note...lifeguards are on duty at Cummins Falls throughout the day. When returning back up towards the trailhead, now head over to the lookout platform getting to admire Cummins Falls from high above. It makes for a photogenic perspective and is a clear reminder of why the great outdoors can be so special. Right nearby Cummins Falls SP are more local waterfalls to check out including...Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls, Ozone Falls, Virgin Falls, Piney Falls and Stinging Fork Falls, just to name a few.

It's actually leaking through the rocks from the reservoir on the other side. So it's partially a man made fall. The rock here is porous so this is basically a leak... The good news is that it is a steady and dependable fall, even when other falls are just trickles.

In Hilham, Tennessee, is Standing Stone State Forest (11K acres)- something I did not know existed…read more And in the middle of the forest is Standing Stone State Park, 1,000 acres which surrounds Kelly Lake. The park is two hours from Nashville. Apparently this area was named after a large boulder (a standing stone) that was in the area and acted as a border between Native lands. The boulder was eventually destroyed. The state of Tennessee acquired the land and opened the State Park in 1961. The park has a gift shop, a visitor's center, a scenic overlook, boating, picnic shelters, playgrounds, swimming, an amphitheater, fishing, 21 cabins, 4 group cabins, 36 campsites, and hiking trails- Cabin Spur Trail (.25 mile), Jordan Spur Trail (.3 mile), the Lake Trail (4.7 miles), and the Tea Room Trail (.15 mile). It also has something I've never seen before- these giant, huge display places for marble competitions with viewing bleachers. The park hosts a Spring Nature Rally every April, a National Marbles Championship in September, a Car Show every October, and a 5 mile run every November.

This is something Florida needs to jump on board with. And there was so many great spots for ground camping as well as areas for campers/RVs. We spent a couple hours at the park doing the hike to the waterfall. It was pretty leisurely and the grade is mild so it made for a comfortable trek. If you are planning to hike here, drive as faaaaaar as you can before parking. If you choose to park in the first lots you'll be walking about a mile just to get to the trail head. The trails were beautiful and the waterfall is so fun! You really can climb and explore it, I would suggest bringing plenty of water to drink and shoes that you can walk through the water in.

Unfortunately, that has not been our experience at Spacious Skies Belle Ridge. Throughout the campground, there are numerous dead and deteriorating treetops that pose a serious safety hazard. These are not isolated incidents or unpredictable concerns. Dead treetops have repeatedly fallen, causing damage to campers, vehicles, and even a cabin. Despite these repeated incidents, campground management has refused to accept responsibility, instead dismissing the damage as an act of nature. However, when hazardous trees are visibly deteriorating and concerns have been repeatedly reported, it raises serious questions about preventative maintenance and accountability. Other guests and I have personally brought these concerns to the attention of both campground management and Blue Water, yet our warnings have seemingly been ignored. Rather than taking meaningful action to address these known hazards, management continues to disregard the potential consequences. My greatest concern is that the next falling treetop won't just damage property--it will seriously injure or kill someone. It should not take a tragedy for campground management or its corporate representatives to recognize the seriousness of this situation. Guests should be able to enjoy their stay without worrying about preventable hazards, especially when paying premium monthly rates. This review is not simply about property damage or financial responsibility. It is about the safety of every family, child, and guest who stays at this campground. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses these hazards before someone gets hurt.

We arrived at 11: 58 expecting to be boarded for noon departure and enjoy a special day with the family. Instead we were greeted with rudeness. We were told we were at the wrong address. That we were late and we passed the boarding area. There was no indication in the confirmation email and speaking with the representative 3 times did not confirm address. We feel conned out of our money and after driving quite a distance to get there we were very upset. This place totally ruined our day!! Would not recommend anyone to go there as where we were told to go actually was a gift shop. You can figure that one out for yourselves
