I haven't been here in a while since I moved out of town, but I came with a friend today in order to print some stuff out and just to let everyone know, the lady that works upstairs behind the desk is an absolute snob of a lady who talks with everyone in a disrespectful manner. She was extremely rude to me and my friend when we asked a very simple question (about how their printing policy had changed) and I barely received any help on top of that, more attitude than what was necessary for a simple question. And it wasn't just us, there was a nice old man that was just asking for some help, and she was practically raising her voice at the poor man! A quick description is that she has dirty blonde hair, and she wears round-rimmed black glasses. If you see her working, I wouldn't even bother trying to talk and/or ask her a thing! Steer clear from her 100%!!! Everyone else that works here, to my knowledge, is very kind and helpful, just stay away from her because she is no help and very unpleasant in general.

It was named after Kimberly Hampton, a captain in the United States Army, and a military pilot. She was shot down and killed by hostile fire in Iraq in January of 2004. The hours of operations are Monday thru Friday 9AM to 9PM, Saturday 9AM to 6PM and Sunday 2PM to 6PM. There are 3 more branches of the Pickens County library system and they are located in Central, SC, Liberty, SC and Pickens, SC. The library has a lot to offer from reading books, doing research, taking a class or just hanging out in a nice and quiet environment. It's my go to place when I need to have copies made. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I don't even try to mess with the printer. Someone is always willing to help with the printer. They also offer computer classes. If you just want to go and chill out at the library you can do that too, they have some really comfortable chairs!

Too pedestrian? Traverse the grand , dark oak bookshelf -lined walls of the Grand Reading Room and pick a "Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene , " a journal about as thick as an Atlanta Phone book and grab a seat to perhaps read about best practices for proper hand washing in the maleria -choked jungles of Borneo? Nope! Highlights include: "Polymorphisms in Cytochrome P450 genes: implications for Plasmodium vivax malaria" treatment in Brazil

There is a fine selection of literature and lots of tables. Park by the chapel and walk across the green to the library. Patrons can take out a lending card for about 50 dollars.
