Most vehicles remain in the yard for only one to three months, so take this into consideration if you find a vehicle or part that you want, because it may become a missed opportunity if the purchase is not made soon enough. The Pick-n-Pull website shows prices on common parts and core deposits on applicable parts. A core refers to a used part that is still capable of being remanufactured or recycled for its materials. Return your core within 30 days of purchase to receive your core deposit. Prior to going to the yard, you can contact them with questions about inventory and prices. It is generally possible to negotiate prices at salvage yards, especially for vehicles, larger parts, or multiple parts. If a competitor has a lower price, then mention this during negotiation. The Pick-n-Pull website states that they offer competitive, fixed prices to eliminate the stress of negotiating, but this applies more to readily available, standard parts. For less common parts or multiple parts, negotiation is often possible. The Pick-n-Pull website states, "Purchasing parts at Pick-n-Pull is worry-free due to our 30-Day Free Exchange policy on all parts. If a part breaks or doesn't fit, the customer can bring it back and pull another." "Parts Sales (excluding tires): If you are not 100% satisfied, you can return the part(s) to the original Pick-n-Pull location where the part(s) were purchased, within 30 days of the original purchase date, with the original receipt." "With Pick-n-Pull's 12-Month WarrantyPLUS, you can now purchase an additional 12 months of warranty when you buy your car/van/truck parts from us. 12-Month WarrantyPLUS protects your auto part for a full 12 months beyond the FREE 30-Day Exchange period." I agree with the other 5star comment. This place doesn't hold your hand and "guarantee highest satisfaction". You pay $2 entry fee. And you yourself grab what you need. Pretty straight forward. And they tell you exactly how much a part is when you ask. I see no problem. read more

They decided they had to reschedule us over RAIN. Not massive flooding. Not anything horrendous. A few inches of rain. 8 inches. That was all. And not even that much in my part of the St. Louis area. And then, after I specified an AFTERNOON pickup, they called at 8 in the morning, day of, amd because my husband didn't get to the phone fast enough, they cancelled on us. Bullshit. read more

Went for a Mass Air Flow sensor and grabbed an Air Intake Hose. $71.51?? No. And then the counter person pushed for an additional $10 Insurance!! The Mass Air Flow sensor starts new at $40. But $81.51?? No. Are they trying to shut the place down?? Profit off of entry fee alone? Free part removal via customer?? Smart gig I'd suppose. Very dissatisfied. Very few customers compared to the other four salvage yards I went to over two days, now I see why. Quite sad. read more

I'm a professional truck driver and this is by far the worst place I've ever dealt with. No communication, no nothing. Scheduled pick up and waited all day only to be informed we cannot reach our driver. Sorry! Wasted an entire day. Shame on you Pick N Pull. read more

I went "last" week. My LIFE WAS THREATENED!!! I told the "manager" what happened & that I wanted to press charges. He told me to "leave, HE'D take care of the situation. I was in "customer services for YEARS!!! I was ALWAYS TOLD, a "happy customer is repeat business" I suggest, UNLESS YOU ARE EXTREMELY DESPERATE, don't go to that NASTY DIRTY WEED FILLED junkyard... it WORSE THAN "Speedway!"... Last couple of times I was there someone tried prying my truck box open on my truck while I was in the inside getting parts beware of your personal property it's not a good area. I won't to go back but afraid my vehicle is going to be broke into when I'm in side pick n pull. read more

Poor customer service. The lady working there who I'm pretty sure was the manager but would not identify herself as such was very rude and aggressive. I bought a airbag and was told that they need to mark the part so I can return it. I wasn't told I needed a recipt in fact I wasn't given one. When I got there she told me that I needed a recipt and acted like I was lying about not being told I needed one. I asked to speak to the manager and she just told me no. If she is the manager picknpull needs to be aware of how there manager treats customers. read more

I leaned against the fender of a truck & it flipped over on its side nearly crushing me. I told the person at the front desk about it who referred me to the manager who wasn't in his office so I called them on my phone no answer explained my situation what had happened never got a call back an apology nothing next time I went I called ahead to ask about a steel wheel for a Malibu they said sure come on in so I get there pay them admission fee walk out into the yard and there are no wheels anywhere I come back in find the owner asked him where are the wheels he says all we use them to put the cars on so they knowingly took my money knowing that they did not have the part that I called ahead for and then wouldn't even refund the admission price this place is a dump it's a rip-off and they are full of arrogance and greed they need to be shut down read more

Nothing bad to say about the place. Prices are maybe a tad higher than some other places but not really. Hell...the fact that you can search their inventory online and see where the car is located is well worth a couple extra dollars. It's unbelievable that so many places don't have their inventory computerized. I come back often simply because I search their inventory and I can see when a new car shows up to go pick. read more

Cars and parts are okay, but the location is horrid. They have one porta potty which looks as if it has been dumped over a few times but not cleaned. There are peddlers who live inside the place trying to sell you gold chains that they find in the vehicles. Then to make it worse, you have people outside selling packaged meat and breaking into cars to steal car stereos (I mean come on is this 1993?) This place is like a bad episode of trailer park boys. The location is trash, and if you dont want to catch some new drug resistant std then stay away. I will gladly pay a little more to have automotive parts that dont come from a trashy part of stl. Yes, it is 2 dollars to get in and they do have a large selection of vehicles, however the staff will NOT go out of their way to help you in any way, you are on your own. They will point this way or that way for ford or chevy. thats about it. read more

These reviews are insane...Ok this is a dump for mechanics and skilled tradesmen to scavenge from. There is a 2$ entrance fee and the staff will go out of their way to help you find a vehicle or one that contains a usable parts. This is still a vehicle graveyard...It's not walmart...your not always right...no one is obligated to help you...and if you ignore security or the fee they can ask you to leave.
