What a great value for the money. This is not super gourmet food but it is very good and because of the value and service and pretty darn good food I am giving them 5 stars! The pasta tasted very fresh and the portions were big and we all took home leftovers. Everything was very fresh. I got the veggie pasta and it has large pieces of fresh veggies in it. The sauces were not quite as good as I had hoped but they were definitely good enough and quite tasty. The service was quick and accurate. The price of each entree was very reasonable AND it included a small side salad which was actually super tasty and had great dressing AND a free dessert. The desserts were excellent. The free desserts we chose were the cannoli and the tiramisu. They were both great but the tiramisu was outstanding. It was a large portion and you could tell it was homemade. Food was great! Desets were ok. Service was great!! We started off with cheesey garlic bread. Everyone loved it. Then we all had a fresh salad, everyone ate everything on their plates. Daughter's shared linguine and clams. They really enjoyed it. Waiter brought it out already in separate plates, which was nice. They are both usually picky eaters. One finished and the other almost finished their portion. Wife and son both ordered lasagna. They both really liked it. Wife said it was very fresh. The tomato sauce wasn't thick meaty, sloppy and overpowering, but light fresh and not too sweet. It was definitely a healthy portion of lasagna. Wifey ate over 1//2, and my son usually finishes his plates, but couldn't finish the lasagna. I had the seafood linguine. I can't eat tomatoes, so requested the sauce to be changed from tomato to the wine sauce. They were able to accommodate. Fresh pasta and seafood. I ate everything on the plate, and soaked up the sauce with the warm bread that was served upon request. Now the desserts. We had two of each of the canolis, and tiramisu. Wifey said one of them didn't taste freshly/ home made, but forgot which one. That was the only negative I have. However we did eat all of them, sooo.... Ambiance nice candle lit type atmosphere. I have ordered food to go from here for a party before. I also have gotten food to go for just me and my boyfriend and I've also eaten in. Everytime it's been delicious. They usually give you a free dessert which is very nice. Always comes with a salad and bread I believe as well. The pasta is good and a great price. All the ingredients are fresh and the people who work there are so nice. I recommend for a special event or even just a casual family dinner. Plus it's close to my favorite local brewery. Parking can be sometimes challenging on evenings but the Home Depot parking lot is just about a basketball court away so no problem if you can't find a spot in the lot attached. I highly recommend you take time out of your day to eat at this place is beautiful inside and outside they have expanded to NextDoor. They have even more seating room. I ask questions about the menu and he was so helpful. He asked me about my preferences and the dining experience between the two of them was above and beyond I could've asked for. I started with the garlic bread with marinara sauce and I ordered pasta with spicy sausage in a vodka sauce. It came with a house salad. I couldn't tell you how much I appreciated how wonderful the food was then they kept asking me what I wanted for dessert and they didn't charge me for it saying it's complementary to everybody. I can't wait to come back here again and I'm still here. I didn't finish my food and they packed all of it to go and they welcome my little dog with open arms to sit outside. This is the best little gem in Huntington Beach. Be prepared because on the weekends this place gets so busy that is why they expanded. I waited a while to come back because of the heat to sit outside because I enjoy sitting outside and I like to take my little dog with me when I can, I took her for a groom today, right down the way, and then came here for dinner. First the side salad was delicious with the house made dressing, the salad to me was a little over dressed but I personally did not mind that. The cheeses garlic bread was delicious, packed full of cheese and underneath the cheese you can see loads of garlic, very delicious, I wished the bread itself was just a bit more crispy In texture but otherwise very delicious. The chicken parmigiana was also amazing. I've had a lot of chicken parmigiana in OC but this one is right up there. Juicy, moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, opted for angel hair pasta and it was delicious. They gave me a free dessert and I chose the house made bread pudding and again the best bread pudding I had in OC. Makes me want to come again for dinner tonight. I like to get marinara on my chicken and alfredo on the noodles...the flavor combo is next level. The service is outstanding and the owners are really nice people. This is a nice, quaint restaurant tucked away in a strip center close to shopping and the beach offering both inside and outside dining. The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. There were 4 of us in our party and everyone loved their meals and wine. In addition, the setting is very casual in a strip mall on Mag near Garfield in HB. This time it was for take out bc mija was in town, and I still can't drive yet. I had the chicken parmesan w/ a side of spaghetti w/ marinara sauce. Entrees also come w/ a side salad. She had steak milanese w/ fettucine alfredo on the side (sorry, no pic). We shared a fried calamari app. The calamari was GBD even after the 10 min drive home. Additionally, the portion was large for the price. Likewise, the chicken was tender, and the breading was nicely seasoned. Both of our portions were so large we had leftovers. I had half my meal remaining, while mija had 2/3. I have never had bad service here, and I have always found it friendly & warm. The takeout was packaged nicely, and it was ready on time. Even when we dined in it was spectacular. Delicious and authentic food always taste so fresh. We got the shrimp alfredo, garlic and cheesy garlic bread, vodka penne chicken parm, cheese lasagna, and cheese ravioli with sausage, and the cesar salad. Great portion sizes and they always give extra marinara. Our order was ready in 20minutes and we called as soon as they opened. The owner, Abraham, even threw in 2 cheesecakes and 2 tiramisu's for us. A chef helped me carry my bags to my car and service is always perfect. Amazing experience every time.
