Nain and Picasso Painting did a great exterior painting of our 2600 sq ft house in Millbrae. They were prompt, easy to work with, and provided a competitive price. They found some termite damage and referred us to Vincente who expertly replaced the damaged wood. read more

Nain gave the most competitive estimate. The crew was curteous, and quick, and put up with my 'whimsical' demands that were changing during the project. I was willing to do additional work above the quoted budget, but the crew honestly told me that no additional repairs were needed to the walls and the siding. i love how the house turned out! it is the most fun in the neighborhood. Separate shout-out to the admin who coordinates for Nain and team - she was the more professional and easiest to work with! 0 run-around, all the proactive help! read more

I used Picasso Painting for my home in SF. They were very easy to work with and did a fabulous job. Nain gave me an amazing estimate. The foreman, Bladi, was very eager to please and very respectful of my garden and all of the landscaping. The entire crew were all very professional always cleaning up after each day. I would definitely use Picasso Painting again! read more

I used this company to paint two interiors of houses earlier this year. Poor communication to start off with, had them come back twice to get the quote correct. That should have been an indicator of the work that would be done. The work quality was poor, they told they were done on a Thursday, I went to the property the following Monday and there was blue tape everywhere, some lights were still covered with paper. Got them to come back out and finish the job. They never did do the kitchen cabinets correctly. Would Not and Will NOT recommend them. read more

Picasso is the best painting company I have dealt with in the past 50 years. As a landlord I have used a dozen paint companies and Picasso does the best job with good communication and timely performance. Last year their bid was 30% cheaper than the others and they painted more than I requested including foundations, eaves, and a storage shed. This month they painted a tall 3 story building with excellent results and a low price. They use the best paint with great colors and they are faster than expected ! read more

Picasso painting did a TERRIBLE job painting the inside of my mother in law's house ( where my husband and I live). My husband, who is the most patient and gentle person repeatedly tried to get them to fix things ( random spot of wrong sheen on the wall, not painting the trim, painting around picture holes, asking them to do the second coat that was in the bid, etc.). Everytime the job lead would ask him to identify each and every area (when there were 40+). After 5 rounds of trying to get them to do the job well and completely, we just gave up. It was so frustrating and ultimately a waste of time and money. The work they did on the cabinets, where paint had worn off is shockingly bad. To add insult to injury, they flagged my review and had it removed; saying I did not have first-hand experience. Believe me, I lived through the process, went through the house the 5+ times they said they were done (to identify the areas they messed up/failed to complete), and have to look at their shoddy work every day. read more

Fast forward 9 years and we hired Picasso a 3rd time. tl;dr Besides doing a bang up job on the paint, showing up on time, finishing efficiently and cleaning up nicely after leaving, the team was extremely accommodating with respect to my very specific hodge-podge set of requests, and they went out of their way to save me money when they really didn't have to and I never would have known the difference. My job included all these little odds and ends (1. Only paint two exterior walls of the house, 2. Chip away the stucco to expose a cinder block retaining wall, 3. Paint several retaining walls around the house, 4. paint all around the roof since our roof was just replaced and stucco was chipped/exposed). They were very accommodating to do exactly what I asked for. I even had the job done 4 months after signing the contract (husband wanted to spread out house repairs) and they still had all the detailed notes and memory from what we talked about initially. As for saving me money, this was the strangest thing. Some how/some way (neither me nor Sasha could recall or explain) the estimate that I signed 4 months prior indicated a specific paint be used. This paint brand would cost us $1000 extra to use over Picasso's usual brand. It was called out clearly in the estimate, in bold, with a note that it was an up charge of $1000. I couldn't have missed it if I tried. I signed it with that upsell. I never asked if we could remove that customization. For all I know, I even asked for the upsell at some point. I just can't recall, nor could they since it was 4 months prior that we printed and signed the estimate. On the day our job was starting they called me to verify I really wanted that expensive paint. I didn't, I didn't care, I much preferred to save the $1000! Sasha was able to contact the team before they bought the pricey paint and saved me $1000! I was so happy! I have no idea when or why we put that addition on the estimate but they went out of their way to verify and that means the world to me. Who does that?! Right?! Great company to do business with, I stand by my 5-star review and highly recommend Picasso Painting. read more

We had the entire exterior, including partially enclosed areas, of our four unit condominium, painted. Their bid was not the cheapest and not the most expensive bid out of the 5 bids we got, we chose Picasso because we felt most comfortable with their expertise and what they offered. They more than lived up to our expectations. They used the most expensive and longest lasting Sherwin Williams exterior paint (which of course we paid for). They started ahead of their promised start date, worked every day, Monday to Saturday. They were friendly, professional and accommodating to or various needs and instructions. When complete, they viewed the job with us, and made minor corrections. Overall we are very happy with the work that they performed. read more

Picasso Painting will be our HOA's go to painter now. They are meticulous and efficient. They're also extremely flexible. We changed directions a few times during the project and they were very patient and accommodating. Next, we have an even larger project that requires a lot of scaffolding. Not only do they offer an excellent value on the painting, but they also helped us get the lowest price on scaffolding. We had interviewed several scaffolding companies and they were able to help us find one that was lower in comparison to the others. read more

Warning to prospective clients - we had a painter from Picasso Painting sent to us by a flooring company to rectify some damage by them. This painter - one Eber Gomez - proceeded to quote us for other work, take a deposit, then never came back despite multiple promises to do so, false apologies, calls, and a signed contract. read more

We began discussions with Picasso Painting many months ago, but due to continual changes in our schedule we had to put painting the entire exterior of our house on hold several times. Picasso worked with us very cooperatively to adjust their schedules to meet our needs. The house has now been painted, and we simply couldn't be happier. The painters cleaned, scraped, primed, and painted with great care and professionalism. And, they continued to agree to their original estimate even though months transpired before the actual work started. Quality work, cooperation on scheduling, and a very reasonable price: what more can you ask for? read more

We Would absolutely recommend Picasso Painting. They did such a great job painting the exterior of our home. It looks great! Marco was so helpful in helping us choose a color. All the painters were courteous and polite. Thank you Picasso Painting. read more

Excellent work painting our 1 story home. They did two colors. When we asked for some minor changes that we didn't anticipate the answer from them was "no problem". Very professional. On-time. And the paint jobs looks great! Would recommend to all our family! read more

Picasso Painting painted the exterior of our 2-condo, 3 story building. It was the first week that non-essential construction restrictions lifted in SF during COVID-19. Fernando and Nain showed up at 8am each day. They power washed, scraped and sanded, and did both spray priming/painting and brush applications. They were very professional and proactive in their communications, seeking to assure that both families were in agreement with decisions along the way and happy with their work. They cleaned up at the end of each day, and left everything spotless at the end of the 5 day job. We would definitely recommend and use Picasso in the future. read more

Picasso Painting gave our church a very reasonable quote for painting the church exterior and provided us five samples of colors and trim.

Picasso was subcontracted at the end of a long re-construction process that included mold remediation, drywall, new crown molding and more. They showed up and made the process seamliess - and the quality of the work was indeed as good as it gets. They were polite, communicative and in at least one case painted an entire ceiling where only part of it was specced. They will be my first go-to when I am ready to make the rest of my house look as good as the part they painted does now! read more

For over 4 years, Picasso Painting consistently pleases our SF-based interior design team as well as many homeowners and business owners all over the Bay Area. We go back to Sergio and his team time and time again for their integrity, beautiful work, fair prices, creative solutions, quick response time and realistic timeframes. Picasso makes homes and businesses beautiful AND makes our days easier! They truly care about the homeowner's experience. Once a light fixture was broken on a jobsite and even though it wasn't clear which contractor was responsible, Picasso picked up the tab so that the homeowner didn't have to. Remodels are personal endeavors with **many** people involved -- neighbors, contractors, vendors, delivery companies, etc. - the folks you chose to work with make the experience. We choose Picasso. read more

We just got our house painted and it looks fantastic. It was a big job that required scaffolding and details. The Picasso team was great. They asked good questions to clarify, they were flexible, they were very neat - always leaving the job site very clean and tidy. There were times they had to go through our house to get to the balconies and you could never tell they had walked through our living room and kitchen. The detail work was great. Our house really looks wonderful and we would absolutely recommend them again. read more

Just completed a 2-building exterior paint project with Picasso Painting & had great results. The 5-day project had: (1) the professional crew arriving on time every day & worked hard; (2) thorough power cleaning, scraping, sanding & primer application; (3) 2-applications of wall paint and trim; (4) complete clean up; and, (5) at a competitive cost. Would recommend and use Picasso Paint in the future. Rick Hess read more

Absolutely fantastic job done on our 18 unit condo building. We were in the process have having windows replaced requiring 3 different stages of work. I requested an estimate for our San Francisco home exterior painting and they had an average response time. We set the time and the day and when the day came we waited and waited. it past 30 min of the appointment time no one showed up!!! I called the person's cell phone couple of times and no answer. I called their office and no answer! I left a message and explained the situation ( this was last Saturday its been one week) and no phone call or email to apologize or explaining what happened. this shoes their professionalism so DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! there are many options out there. find the one who is on time and has manners! read more

Picasso painted our town house development three years ago. We are located very near the ocean with lots of salt in the in the air and fog and sun. Naturally it's a tough environment on paint. Sergio did a wonderful job painting my Condo. I highly recommend Picasso Painting.

Picasso Painting first worked on my house some years ago when they painted 13 rooms and a common area in 13 different colors. In 2017, they painted the entire outside including trim. A carpenter had replaced a large outside designer bean with unseasoned cedar - later causing endless problems, the Picasso team persisted over several months to produce a perfect result. More recently, after the installation of wood floors, Picasso painted all of the trim. I have worked with a lot of contractors and few if any have demonstrated the loyalty and commitment to ensure that the customer is satisfied. I'll add that I very much enjoy the presence of their team members on all projects, they are polite, hard working and maintain a clean work site. Picasso work is a solid value. I had been putting off getting quotes for painting my rental property, mainly because of the time required to call contractors, set up times to meet with them to walk around the property, and then following up to get them to send me a quote. Picasso Painting was impressive and stood out among the other contractors. They called me the day after I did a search on Angie's List. Wow! They are also trained in and follow lead safe practices which was important to me. The paint was peeling badly and required sanding which releases lead into the air and eventually into the ground. Most paint contractors don't give me the impression that they follow the necessary precautions when dealing with lead paint, but Sergio is aware of the regulations and follows lead safe practices. Wonderful! I also needed siding and window sill repairs prior to painting. Picasso Painting referred me to a great handyman who took care of our problem areas. Thank you, Picasso Painting! read more
