I am a 69yr.old woman who in my entire life have had no luck with the Auto Body Repair Industry. Until I found (by accident) Picasso Auto Body up in Riverside. I live in LA Quinta. When my Tesla hit a semi tire tred on the I-10 last year, I was treated so well the first time, they were my first call when this time "Patsy the Tesla" refused to unlock her door without the key card which was back in La Quinta. A young man named Danny answered the call. He was the calming voice ready to help any way he could. He talked us thru the options and when all seemed lost, he offered to come to us. Fortunately, for our hero Danny,we were successful in getting it open. Danny is a 10 in patience & customer service. I stopped by Picasso Auto Body and spoke with Sam while getting multiple quotes in one day. Sam was very informative and honest, and what really stood out was his integrity. Out of six shops I visited that day, Sam was the only one who noticed that paint work done by another shop on my car was failing and explained that it should be covered under warranty. He recommended that I take the car back to the original shop and have them fix it properly under warranty before spending more money out of pocket. To be fair, I may not have had that specific conversation with the other shops previously, but Sam's insight was extremely valuable. This one recommendation alone is likely saving me around $2,500. I'm not ending up having repairs done at Picasso because the original shop will do the work at a discount, but I genuinely appreciate Sam's honesty and expertise. I found this shop on Teslas website listed as a Tesla Preferred auto body shop and decided to bring our Tesla Model 3 here for repairs after a small accident. We were greeted by Sam who did a phenomenal job of explaining the repair process and insurance details. He handled everything for us, keeping us in the loop of the progress, with texts and pictures throughout the entire process. They even finished the work ahead of schedule. The repairs were top tier. Paint match is perfect and the car looks brand new. To top it off they even cleaned our interior of the car! I expected the outside to be washed, due to the external repair but was pleasantly surprised by the clean interior. Also, the repairs are backed by a lifetime warranty. I highly recommend Picasso! I came here 2 years ago and got amazing service. They were busy and ready to give me the best deal possible if I was paying out of pocket. Their work was phenomenal. Skip to today. I'm so mad. I called last week to get work done. I explained I had all the parts and what I wanted. I didn't want to drive down if they couldn't help me. The man on the phone told me to bring in my parts and they'd look. I told them I couldn't come that week but I could come next week. He said that's fine, come any day. I came today. It took me an hour to get down there due to traffic. I came in and there were two employees and no customers. I got there around 4pm. The male worker asked if I knew who I had spoken to, which I couldn't remember. He went to get another employee. It took about 10 minutes for another man to come out and I wasn't sure if he was there to help me. He eventually walked over then took me outside and started looking at the front of the car. There's no damage to the front so that was weird. I told him why I was there and opened the trunk where two sealed boxes of parts were. He told me to go back inside and sit while he got his mechanic. They talked around the trunk for a while and closed and opened the trunk once. The original man came back into the lobby and said he would help me because no one came out. I pointed outside to the two men talking around the car so the first man left. The sales man at my car came in and told me he couldn't help me and that I had to go to an interior place. I'm not sure why? I asked for the name of a place and he told me to call back on Tuesday after he called another location to get a name. I left and looked at the boxes. They never opened the boxes. I'm not sure how you decide I need an interior place when you don't know the work that needs to be done. I need body work done. My bumper needed reinforcement and a button needed to be installed to open the trunk from the inside. The only interior work that needs to be done is a seat needs to be placed. The seat doesn't need work so I can't fathom why I need interior work. They clearly didn't want any business and wanted everything cleared out for the long weekend. I'm so mad because they should not have told me to come down if they couldn't help me. I was clear on the phone what I needed. When I did come down, as they asked me to do, they should have checked out the parts before deciding that they couldn't do it. Thanks for wasting 2+ hours of my life. I recently went to Picasso to get my car repaired and was very pleased with their service and the quality of their work. Prior to this experience, my husband and I worked with them on two other occasions and were satisfied as well. While I liked their work, I was open to working with a different body shop for the latest repair. However, I worked with Joe B. (appraiser) during this 3rd time, and found the service and experience to be exceptional. Joe was very helpful and helped me feel at ease right from the start. He was not pushy and was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He provided daily updates (sometimes a few times a day) and was very proactive in even helping the insurance agent locate the claim assignment since there was some confusion on the insurance agent's part. In my previous experience working with Picasso, the response from the workers was sometimes lacking, so this was a much better experience. He was also very helpful with the car rental process - something I or my husband did not experience on our other two experiences. He called a car rental contact that they typically worked with to get me a rental and have it delivered and picked up from the body shop which was very convenient. The quality of the service was great as well. Joe was very nice to have the other minor paint chips covered and repainted so my car looks brand new again. Joe went above and beyond and provided white glove service that you don't normally receive these days. The other workers with Picasso were also very helpful and friendly. Overall, my experience with Picasso was outstanding and will definitely continue to use and refer Picasso and Joe to others in the future. read more

Excellent experience! Above and beyond! Had our Tesla Model 3 repaired at Picasso Auto Body Shop (rear bumper repaired after being rear-ended). The experience was outstanding in every aspect. From the quality of repairs to the exceptional customer service, to Picasso's flawless and smooth integrations with my Insurance company (Tesla Insurance). Picasso surpassed my expectations in every single area. Firstly, the quality of the repairs was superb. The bumper looks factory brand new. Attached are before and after photos, but I don't think the photos do it justice. Impeccable workmanship, this autobody shop is in my eyes just the same as going to Tesla Service Centers, but in some ways, more personalized. Will explain more on this below. Despite having the option to choose Tesla's own service center in Aliso Viejo or to go with another nearby shop that was literally 2 mins from my house, I decided to go with Picasso which was 20 mins from my house... the X factor for me was their phenomenal customer service experience when I first made calls to different repair shops. Tesla Insurance (which I also had a GREAT experience with) gave me the option to go with their own Tesla Service Center or to go with one of their Certified Partners (Picasso and others on their list of approved partners). When initially reaching out to service centers Picasso answered my phone calls almost immediately, was patient, and extremely thorough in answering my multitude of questions... and I got a gut feeling this is the type of auto body repair that is RESPONSIVE and cares about their customer service just as much as they care about the repairs. Their quality of repairs is in my estimation just as good as Tesla Service Centers, but with the added benefit of personalized customer care, responsive customer care. Additionally, was impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the service center. This is a highly professional and organized company. They have systems and processes in place that likely ensure a certain level of consistency in how they treat everyone. Picasso operates with the utmost professionalism and has seamlessly integrated systems with Tesla and Tesla Insurance. I was a little worried about the integration going into it, but it was such a SMOOTH experience. My rep at Tesla Insurance would literally call me with an update on the Insurance side, release a payment to the Auto Body shop from their side, and in a few seconds Picasso's systems already had the payment and update. Just a smooth, very smooth experience. Communication between various parties was excellent. Couldn't have been better. Lastly, while I initially brought my car in for only a back bumper repair, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had gone the extra mile by cleaning and vacuuming the interior of my car. That's the character of the people who run Picasso. We had ZERO expectation on this. It was an unexpected and generous gesture that demonstrated their commitment to excellence and attention to detail. That was really cool. Overall, my experience at Picasso was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly would recommend them to friends, family, and fellow Tesla owners. The bumper looks like a factory-like repair, and the personalized customer service is what I most appreciated. I was initially when calling around, on the fence, "Do I go with Tesla's own service center or one of their certified auto repair shops?" I would personally go with Picasso again and again. Simply because, in my estimation the quality of their repairs is on equal footing with Tesla Service Centers but I also got a personalized, consistent (with the same people), and thorough customer service experience. Personalized care matters to me. If you're big on communication in addition to quality/excellence of repair, like I am, this is the X factor in my eyes when it comes to Picasso. The service is great! I had problems with my tire pressure, they helped me resolve the issue and didn't charge me.

Sent a message and provided photographs for an estimate. They said they can't provide an estimate and I'd have to come in person. First of all, it doesn't take an in person visit to quote an estimate to replace the front passenger mirror with pictures. If I send you multiple pictures, that's literally what you are going to see. That's why it's called an estimate. Second, if you are against providing online estimates then you as a business need to disable the "quote request" through Yelp and stop wasting a prospective customers time. Body shops are a dime a dozen and I don't appreciate having my time wasted. read more

I sent them a Yelp message asking for a quote and got an estimate for 250. The guy Gary was professional and straight forward. However, since my scratches were only on the bumper he did send me to his other company "R & D finishing" that only does bumpers. The work took 24 hours and cost 250 (the guy did try getting 300 the previous day). When the work was done they called me and said that it's ready for pickup and that you should come pick it up before two. I was in the middle of a meeting so I went to pick it up during lunch break. I got there and took a quick look of the bumper because I had to head back to the office. Later on I did notice that there was a tiny bit of paint that had started chipping and I did not notice it earlier because I was in a hurry. I left it at that and slapped some whiteout on it. If you go there just remember you get what you pay for. read more

I took my vehicle in for frame damage after hitting a curb. Upon arrival I was helped by Sam he took my vehicle in and had it inspected within a few minutes of arrival. He explained what needed to be done and showed me the damage that was caused by the impact also provided me with quote. I came back and had them repair the vehicle after filing the claim with my insurance. They finished a week before schedule which was great.
