The grocery part of the store is my "go to" store in Centre. The store is clean and neat. I love the meat section and their selection. The bread is priced a little high. They have a candy selection that is out of this world. The produce is fresh and very affordable. The manager (Dennis) is a nice guy; he reminds me of Dan from Roseanne. If in Centre....forget Walmart...go to Ingles.

They still have 50 cent Soda machines... one cannot simply compete with 50 cent Soda machines ha. I always go for those. The employees are always soooooo chipper & friendly. Now for the bad - ish ... soooooo if you go late in the afternoon or at night... be well aware that it is a place where lil high school kiddies loiter... like... a lot of em ha .... can't say I blame them though, because there is literally about nothing to do in HB. Be wary of some of the prices on some of the items you purchase there, as they can be a good bit higher than other retailers. Also, their card machines were messing up quite a lot for some time a while back. Hopefully, that issue is resolved by now though. I do hope this small town store sticks around :)

When I politely asked the maskless cashier why ppl were not wearing them despite the sign she laughed and scoffed saying Ah, you don't have to wear a mask! I had 1on. This is a FOOD ESTABLISHMENT!! They have some really unique items and some really good prices! Evan had the Cotija cheese I'd been looking for to make Mexican style street corn. Now, back to the restaurant. To catch you up with where we were at .... WOW! So obviously they started with chips and salsa. Really good fresh tasting salsa ... not to spicy, but still really fresh. Menu had so many options it was hard to narrow down what I wanted. Ended up going with the Flautas and had to add on a tamale. The Flautas were some of the best I've ever had (Chicken). Golden fried perfection with a generous portion of chicken on the inside of each one. Tamale, was really good and authentic as well. Great customer service, they checked on us a few times through the meal to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was good. Really can't think of much they could do different except have a location closer to home.
