2/22/20 What a great experience here with our sales person, the friendly and talented Mr Gary English. We met Gary last week and he assisted us with our questions and helped me with a test drive too. I explained I was coming in the following Saturday to purchase the car. I had made an appointment for 9:30 am. He was ready and waiting for me. A week prior I was pretty overwhelmed with all the various "Outback" models they offer. Gary asked me some basic questions and helped narrow it down. He told me about the key features. I'll be honest- the car I traded was 9 years old and the fanciest thing I had was WiFi. So to say I was overwhelmed is an understatement! After the car was purchased, I was shown how to download this nifty app (it's optional) but I thought it was worth it. Additionally Pete was helpful and gives a tutorial about the electronic features and made learning it relatively easy. He helped us sync the phones to the car and showed us how to use everything from the radio to the cruise control. I know enough to be able to use the radio and to drive the car. . Gary English was extremely helpful and made the process painless, fast and easy. The other Gary (finance manager) made the paperwork flow efficienyly. I highly recommend Piazza Suburu. If you go tell them I referred you and I'll get 50$ if you buy! Take advantage of their 50$ gift card too just for test driving it! They're moving to a brand spankin new location in early March. My son is a college student and has work for approximately 4 weeks during school break. While there he hurt his elbow..... told his supervisor Dave he needs to go to urgent care immediately. Dave agreed but told him he needed to bring a doctor's excuse. Fair enough he obtained one. Doctor wanted him off for a week, my son got the doctors excuse and handed it in his first day back. Yesterday was a Holiday no work. Dave told my son he thought the note was fake and he didn't believe he went to urgent care. Today Dave told him he was no longer employed. After a routine state inspection and oil change, I discovered abrasions and a deep chip on the front bumper of my WRX within five minutes of leaving the dealership. I immediately returned to report the damage. Rather than conducting a meaningful review, Dan Dryja, Service Manager, suggested I was wrongly assigning blame to the dealership. I was told video footage exists that allegedly clears Piazza Subaru of responsibility; however, that footage has never been reviewed with me or produced. I also learned my vehicle was driven five miles, either on a highway or a test loop. PennDOT does not require multi-mile or highway driving to complete a state inspection, making this unexplained use of my car especially concerning. Dan Dryja has ceased communication, and an attempt to contact Mike Hinkle, General Manager, has likewise gone unanswered. Rather than engage directly with a customer concern, the dealership has chosen to hide behind voicemail. I will NEVER recommend Piazza Subaru of Limerick. Those who value customer care and accountability should think twice before leaving their vehicle there. For me, this experience is a textbook example of poor management. read more

Im extremely pissed when I bought my car lil over year ago I got the warranty for it and was told and lied to telling me it would cover everything except tires, other day my heated seat switch decided to stay on low so o took it to get fixed just to find out this morning they lied to me about the coverage and now im stuck with a csr that can catch on fire!! Yes I can just disconnect it but why would I just want it be disconnect.... We brought our car to Piazza Subaru of Limerick to fix the air conditioner, and we paid over $1,000, but the air conditioner still was not working when we picked it up. This meant we had to leave the car for an extra day so they could attempt the repair. Unfortunately, within a couple of weeks, the air conditioning stopped working again, and we were informed that we would need to pay additional fees to fix it. The manager was nice and tried to help, but we did not want to keep putting extra money into a problem that was not guaranteed to be fixed. Overall, the service was frustrating and inconsistent. The issue that was supposed to be resolved before pickup was not fixed, and it seems they didn't properly address the problem the first time. We chose Piazza Subaru because they are supposed to be professionals with Subaru vehicles, but based on our experience, we would not recommend relying on them for repairs. read more

I wish there was a zero I went with my brother who is 80 years old hard time hearing and understanding cars they didn't know I was there. He had his car inspected and they came back and said the driver side would not pass. It could get moisture. There was nothing wrong with he had a very minor accident 9 months ago it had two surface scrapes, not cracks and they told him it was close to $1600 to repair when he came and got me tech was lost when I said it should pass. There's nothing wrong with it. He said it's a possibility. Nice brake should fail as well as tiresand any other wear item. The next day I got a survey from the service manager on how I was treated when I filled it out badly and asked to have him call me back to explain why my brothers light wouldn't pass never heard I waited a week before I did this review to see if he would call. I sent two emails and I left a phone message never heard from Dan Dryja That's called service and time to get rid of the Subaru. I did take it to three other mechanics and asked their opinion on the light. All three gave the opinion that light should've passed. It's nice to see how the old people in this country are being taken care of and ripped off. read more

Not the best experience, but not the worst either. Charged more for an oil change than their advertised price listed on their website... not the end of the world, but not worth the frustration of arguing. There's zero communication between parts and service departments. Called asking for a spare part, was transferred back and forth between parts and service several times. Why I as a customer need to check with the parts people if they have a part, then go to the service department to schedule an appointment is beyond me. I would think someone there could figure that out. Also annoying when they say they have parts, you show up, they tell you they don't have parts but will order them, then actually check if they have parts and then magically find them. read more

The past two times I had my car serviced here they did not close the hood when they were done. The first time I noticed when I was driving home on the highway and had to find somewhere to pull over. The second time I checked while I was in the parking lot because I thought "Wouldn't it be funny if they forgot to close the hood, again?". Besides that they are usually pretty good. The staff is friendly and the service prices are a little cheaper than the other dealers in the area. read more

I've been using Piazza Subaru service regularly for over 5 years, so I'm pretty disappointed by my most recent experience there. Early last month, I was out driving when my clutch started to fail. Luckily (I thought at the time) I was near Piazza and stopped in to see if I could either get one of the mechanics to look at it or to schedule an appointment for repair. I was told that all the mechanics were at lunch and that it would take two weeks to get an appointment. Also, no loaner cars were available. The Service Dept. was backed up for two weeks out due to a large number of safety recall appointments. So, even though I was concerned about safely driving my Subaru home without having a mechanic check it out, I made the appointment. When the time came for the appointment, I had to get a wrecker to tow the car to Piazza because the clutch failed as I was about to go there. While I was relieved that it didn't happen while I was driving, it added one more hassle to this whole problem. Communication about the repair itself and getting the ride service to the dealership both went smoothly, thanks to Bruce and Ralph. Their efforts are the only reason why I'm giving a rating of 2 stars and not 1. This feedback is mainly intended for Piazza management in regards to their Service Department. It's totally unacceptable for a loyal service customer to have to wait *two weeks* to get a repair that affects whether the vehicle can be safely driven. If you don't have enough mechanics, you should hire more. If you have problems with prioritizing appointment scheduling, you should revisit that and improve it. Unless management takes action on this problem, I'm certain that I won't be coming back for service at Piazza Subaru. read more

It's been a year since I purchased my 2018 Subaru Impreza. It was an unexpected purchase as my car stopped working one day. I knew I wanted all wheel drive, and I have many family members who have Subaru's and rave about them. I worked with Jim Johnson in sales and Dan Tezla in finance to purchase my vehicle. The experience was pleasant and easy, as this was my first time buying a brand new car. Simon Nguyen in the service department showed me all the bells and whistles in my car, and explained if I came back within two weeks of my purchase to ask any question about the car, I would get a free car wash and a Wawa gift card. The only annoying thing was I called the day before stopping in to make sure he had gift cards in stock, and he said he did, but when I showed up for my appointment they didn't have any. I wasn't about to drive back for a gift card coming from King of Prussia to Limerick in rush hour for that. Thankfully, they did mail me my gift card so I didn't have to be inconvenienced again, but I found it very disorganized. The only issue I had with my Subaru itself was the black cord that is pressed into the bottom of the front windshield. For whatever reason, the cord came loose in the middle and hung down over towards the front of the hood. They fixed it for me no questions ask for free (or it may be part of my warranty). I find it very easy to schedule service appointments, and they have plenty of availability. Overall, I'm very happy with my Subaru and my experience here. read more

I went here to get my car inspected and they failed the inspection because of a wheel bearing and they wrote "broken side mirror". The wheel bearing I was okay with, but I questioned the service technician and told him the "mirror" is not broken. It was only the house assembly or the cover was cracked. I read the DMV safety inspection before going in there in its entirety so I knew it should not have been flagged "broken side mirror". I asked him to read me the exact article or clause in the DMV safety inspection program that refers to why he failed the "broken side mirror" and he couldn't find it. The service technician started reading and quoting the section about "Horns and Warning devices". That made me irritated because I had the DMV inspection program in my phone open so I finished reading the paragraph to him about the "Horns and Warning devices" that "A vehicle specified under this subchapter shall have a horn or other warning device which is audible". I explained to him the meaning of the word "audible" which means "sound" referring to the horns and has nothing to do with the side mirror. They said they would also give me a call to provide a quote about the parts and the work to get my car up to inspection (and I'm like no thanks). I had my car inspected at another safety inspection place and my car passed with a simple tape on the side mirror's "housing cover". The other auto repair shop also said the wheel bearing was also not the issue, but the real culprit was a simple tie rod and a simple alignment. With those simple fixes and less cost expense, I am now up to date with my inspection stickers no thanks to this place. read more

Me and my husband were interested in buying the Subaru Ascent, so we make an appointment with one of their sales person to test drive the car first. At the door we were greeted by an old and confused man named Lary... we were asking him about the car's details, and he couldn't stay on topic at all he jumped from one topic to another one that has absolutely nothing to do with the question... that would be one red flag... after a long and confusing conversation he finally brought the key to a USED Subaru Ascent. I had some issues with that car, something was wrong with the brake and the acceleration pedal, my foot slipped in between these pedals while trying to brake, thank goodness nothing happens. After I overcame that shock I drove the car immediately back to Piazza Subaru. We told Lary what happened and he downplayed everything. He said that this car was a used one and that's why that happened I asked him why nobody took care of the car before letting me drive it? He said that is the only Subaru Ascent they have left, the new Subaru Ascent isn't working, because they took parts out of that new car to fix someone else's car ... another red flag.... After the test drive, we wanted to take our time to decide whether we want that car or a Hyundai, but Lary went on and try to make us buy the car at the spot for a price that we were not willing to pay... He insisted we put a $500 down payment to secure the car, because according to him, everyone want that car... one more red flag... We didn't let him pressure us and we went home and look at other cars like Hyundai and Nissan. He called us the next day and asked if we wanted to test drive the BRAND NEW Subaru Ascent 2020, so we went back and test dive that car, there were no problem with the pedals ... everything ok with the car, but the price was not ok... so I told him we were not willing to buy a 2020 car for that price, and he said he could not go lower, so I told him we still need time to decide. At home we did some research and found out, that the price he gave us, was wayyyyy over the top... so we went to another dealer John Kennedy Subaru, they immediately gave us the right price for the Subaru Ascent 2021. The 2021 Model costs much less at Kennedy Subaru than the 2020 Model from Piazza...Lary tried to pull us over the table... big red flag.... Another day went by and Lary called us again. I told him we bought the car somewhere else for less. He got angry at me and said he did ALL the work and we just go somewhere else and buy a car without giving him a chance... I told him the Model was 2021 and it costs less than the 2020 Model he offered us, he said he could have gone lower if we gave him a chance... We are seriously upset about him calling us and berated us like that, we gave him many chances to lower his price, but he didn't want to and now he blames us for going somewhere else... read more

Lease is about up so I went around to a bunch of different dealerships looking for a car, it felt like a chore..some bad salesmen and some good, come to Piazza Subaru and suddenly the experience turned into being fun. The salesman, Tom, was wonderful and there was zero pressure. Showroom was gorgeous and the entire staff was very friendly. Ended up driving off in a new 2020 Legacy after Pete went through in detail all the numerous features of the car. I highly recommend at the very least including this dealership when looking for a car, top notch experience. read more

The service department is a wreck. If they tell you they will get back to you by the end of the day, beware. I have been told this on 3 occassions and each time they have failed to follow up. I also waited 8 weeks for a part to come in to fix a problem they caused. Never heard from them until I called 8 weeks later. Then I was told, oh yes, the part is in. Do yourself a favor and drive up to Ciocca in Allentown. You will be glad you did. read more

Family member purchased a 2015 used car 6 months ago. Coming home on 422 he found he had no brakes. Having the car checked out by mechanic and was told the engine would have to be replaced. Called to talk to Piazza and was told it wasn't their problem. Now he has a car that needs new engine and he owes $13,000. I think when you purchase a 2015 put on 8000 miles driving to work and back. Almost have an accident because the brakes stop working. Its not a problem with the brakes. The part that broke destroyed the engine. NOT PIAZZA'S FAULT looking into lemon law, contacted PA Attorney General and looking into lawyers. My wife took her 2016 Outback to get the "oil changed and the tires rotated". When she went to check in at the service desk, a cabin air filter was recommended, because the owners manual stated it was due to be changed. She agreed to let them replace it, without inquiring about the cost. When she received the bill it was $120 for a 5 minute process for changing the cabin air filter at most. They charged her $39 for the filter and the rest was a labor cost. I looked on YOU TUBE to see how it is done and saw someone change the filter in less than 5 minutes, one handed because the camera was occupying the other hand. The cost of the filter was just $10 when bought from ADVANCED AUTO. Regarding the tire rotation, I had seen something, also on YOU TUBE, about marking the tires to check if they actually get rotated. LIMERICK SUBARU did not rotate the tires as specified. I had marked them with clear finger nail polish to check if they had been rotated. The appointment also said when the tires would be balanced and the specified air pressure for each tire would be set accordingly, and the failure to remove the tires from the vehicle made that impossible. Another specification in the oil/rotation package was a through inspection of the vehicle, which I doubt was done, although I have no proof of that. The entire servicing ball was $210. My recommendation is: DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO LIMERICK SUBARU for ANY SERVICING, be it ever so small. They are UNTRUSTWORTHY and extremally OVER PRICED. There is one consolation in this review though. I called LIMERICK SUBARU to inquire about the situation, no tire rotation etc., and their OVER PRICING of the cabin air filter, which they would not adjust. They acted stunned when I finally reached someone who could address the situation, after at least 3 calls to do so. They said they would reimburse $30 for the failure to rotate the tires, with a credit balance, to be used my next time there for anything. I told them I wanted a check for the $30 and they agreed to send it. I will NEVER go to LIMERICK SUBARU for anything, unless it is covered through an extended warranty, not purchased from Subaru, and if I do take the Outback there, I will do so with much trepidation. This encounter with LIMERICK SUBARU was eye opening. Many people may wonder if their vehicle is being serviced to the terms, which had been agreed upon when taken anywhere for servicing. I hope this review might shed some light on that suspicion. BEWARE of thieves, rip-offs and frauds when dealing with anything to do with your vehicles servicing and repairs of, recommended parts replacements, when it is only based on the OWNERS MANUAL (when the part is functioning to your satisfaction). Check the price and shop around for a better deal, and hope the shop you may have to deal with is trustworthy, and has scruples and integrity! Also beware, because it might be women are more susceptible, for numerous reasons, when they are solely responsible for their vehicles care! read more

We have an older Subaru, and took it in to Piazza for a recall. They suggested that we have them do the inspection while we were there, which we did. The told us that we needed $1,100 worth of work done in order to pass inspection. We decided to get another estimate. Another car dealership said that we only needed 1 of the 6 things that Piazza said were necessary. Instead of paying Piazza $1,100 for unnecessary repairs, we were able to have the required work completed for $300 elsewhere. We have heard this is not unusual for this dealership. read more

Service at the New Piazza Subaru of Limerick I recently realized that my inspection was overdue. I contact the GM of the dealership and asked if I could bring my car in for an early morning appointment and wait while the work was done. At one point the service liaison came out to tell me it was done, and suggested an oil change, which I did. The car was completed within an hour and I left with a suggestion of a potential service item to be aware of in the coming months. I really appreciate that level of service and insight into my vehicle. I am very pleased with the personal touch and the care with which everything was handled. I will be back soon! read more

They were significantly better when it was welsh. Bought my wife a brand new 2015 forester for almost $28,000 and the team was accommodating and friendly. Fast forward to December 2019 when I buy a used 2010 highlander from the now "piazza" Subaru. I did negotiate the price slightly and agreed to buying the vehicle as is. The next day my front right brake caliper totally fell off while exiting 422. The whole vehicle seized up and wouldn't push forward at all. I assumed the transmission died (which would have been part of their powertrain 1000 mile warranty). So I called , requested a tow (which they agreed to pay) and got a ride down the road to piazza. When I get there, the used car manager grumbled under his breath a rude comment as I entered and made me feel like a complete idiot for purchasing a car from them. One of the techs quickly checked the vehicle in lot and discovered the issue. Before getting into the shop , they start telling me it will be 800 bucks this and that needs replacing and they won't help at all ( used car manager also tried to get me to pay for the tow truck that they already agreed to pay). I understand that it's an as is purchase, but the next day after I buy is a little crazy to experience something like this. Once they finally pulled into the shop (hours later). They discovered it was a simple fix of just reinstalling the caliper to the disk with a 13 dollar part. Before all this the manager came into waiting room and basically yelled at me in front of the other customers. Most shops would reinstall out of good faith and send me on my way . Nope. I just kept get accused of buying an as is vehicle and should have known better. 8 hours later I was forced to pay about 150 for a 13 dollar part and they didn't even re balance the wheel. It was shaking so terribly on the highway that I had to have a tire shop rebalance the wheel (which had no weights on at all!!!!) if you are going to charge someone 150 for a 13 dollar part at least balance the damn wheel like every other shop would do ! It's a five minute job at most !!! All they care about is volume sales and have totally lost touch with customer service. Stay away. Update 4/16 I still had a clunk after they "fixed" my brakes. On paper it is documented that they installed new hardware and re assembled the right front brake and also checked all other brakes to make sure they were safely fastened. I went to get an oil change at a good local shop and they informed me that both driver side brake calipers were totally missing the main bolts to fasten the assembly! They didn't even touch the other wheels! I've been driving around assuming my recently inspected brakes where good to go! They even charged me over 100 bucks to put it all back together ! They assured me it was all put back together and SAFE!!! This is insane . I drive around my 2.5 year old daughter . If I got stranded on the side of the road with her in the car I would not have been happy. STAY AWAY... EVERYONE I KNOW HAS HAD ISSUES WITH THEIR HACK JOB PRACTICES!!!! read more

I HIGHLY recommend this dealership for both purchasing/leasing cars AND getting service work. Bob Weisbecker is fantastic! No pressure, no bs, he listens more than he talks, he calmly & clearly explains things & is never condescending. He just wants to help you find the best car for you & works hard to make you feel like their most important customer in the process. Absolutely the best car salesman I've ever worked with! The high praise also carries over to their service center. For most of my driving years, I considered a dealership service center a place to go if you wanted to get up sold on, & overcharged for, repairs. I no longer believe that because of the work they've done for my Subaru's at Piazza Subaru of Limerick. Just yesterday, Service Advisor Christina helped solve a major problem I didn't even know I had with one of the tires on my daughter's car. Even though the problem was caused by another service center in the area (Firestone in Pottstown), they identified & corrected the problem at no cost to me. Actually, this was the *second* time Piazza had cleaned up a Firestone Pottstown tire installation mess for me, free of charge! Needless to say, even though I paid for lifetime rotation & alignment at Firestone, I'll never go back. I'll only be going to Piazza Subaru of Limerick from now on. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. What a terrible experience! We went to look at a car we saw listed online, took it to get looked at by our mechanic, had to put gas in it because they gave it to empty. The topper is that when we brought the car back and asked to work out a deal, the salesman Rick told us the car couldn't be sold yet because their shop hadn't checked it out yet. This was all on a Friday. He encouraged us to not even leave a deposit. Said he'd put a rush having it looked at and would call when it was ready. We called Monday morning to see if the car was ready...and were told that the car sold on a Friday night! This place is slimy and unorganized, do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere, don't give these slime balls a dime. read more

I purchased a 2020 Forester Sport in September 2020. I had just left my job of seventeen years due to the pandemic. The lease on my 2017 Honda CR X was simultaneously expiring. For all intents and purposes there were no car dealerships that were open for business. I waited patiently to purchase my new Subaru months, having negotiated all prices online. At the time of the physical purchase I had contact with four individuals at the dealership. Sales, manager, tech guy and the paperwork guy. None of these men took the opportunity to tell me that the car would have to be driven on a regular basis to keep everything all charged up. Remember, all business were closed and there was nothing to do for a very long time. Having had the car for eighteen months, I have recently been forced to call Roadside assistance each time I need to go away due to a continuous dead battery. I returned the car to the dealership to have service only to be told to install ($) a battery charger to keep it constantly charged. That little addition voids the warranty from Subaru and my extended warranty (Zurich) that I so foolishly purchased. Notation here: Subaru keeps mailing me letters to buy their warranty which is the "best ever" according to them. I was also told by the service receptionist to keep calling roadside assistance whenever I need to. My fifth contact was a text from a service manager asking about my visit. How would I rate my satisfaction? I told him that I got a word salad from the parts receptionist and have heard nothing from him. That's five (really six if I count the receptionist) very disappointing points of contact. All missed opportunities to provide customer service. It is humiliating to have a tow truck roll into my driveway on a weekly basis when all Subaru would have to do is provide the car with a new heavy duty battery. Today is Sunday. I have landscapers scheduled to roll in Monday morning and my car is sitting, dead, in the middle of the trees that need to be trimmed. I wish I could move the car on my own but will have to rely on Roadside assistance once again. This is embarrassing. Avoid this dealership like the plague that it is. I would not recommend a Subaru to anyone. My car is unreliable. Today I will call Uber and pay them 60.00 so I can pick up a 25.00 prescription. All of you mentioned in this short story should be very ashamed in your treatment of a customer. You are all terrible at what you do which is very little. If I do show up, which I will have to, I will make a huge scene in your showroom. Ask Del Toyota if I won't do that. read more

I was looking for a new(er) car bc my Solara with 1/4 million miles blew up. Started to speak with Jocelyn(may be spelled wrong) about a certified 2018 Subaru Legacy. Not exactly the car I want but need an AWD basic transportation. The price listed wasn't what I willing to pay. Explained I would be coming with cash(check). We spoke back and forth a couple times(email) and the last email we came within $500 of what I wanted to pay(in their favor). Went to see the car on a Saturday afternoon(1.5 hrs from me). When we got there, I spoke with Rod and told him of who I spoke with and what was agreed upon. He got another employee, Bill(very nice). He was aware I was coming and I dealt with Rod from there. This is where, in my opinion, things went downhill. Car was inside. Asked to take it for a ride. Rod went with me. Not a peep from him. I expected him to tell me of what the car had(options), and what they did. He only told me of the option to link my phone after I made(sarcastic) comments about 2-3 things in the car(including a sunglass holder).This is a basic car. I explained I wasn't interested in linking a phone , I'm a simple person and really don't use a cell phone. He makes the comment of "I can tell you're simple, you're impressed with the sunglasses holder!" Someone was begging me not to buy a car! Didn't care, need a car. Sick of driving junk. Get back, agree to buy it. Then comes the sales pitch of wrap around warranty. Mind you it's already certified. He gives me a price of $1615 for this coverage. Most of this is profit for them. I say no, still pressed. Tried to make it clear I just want the car. Without asking who's name it's to be in, the start the process without telling me. The wife notices what they are doing. I go into finance guy and tell him car has to be in both our names. He replies, sorry I already printed the title. Ha, funny. I told him either both our names are on the title or he can keep it. So they comply(attitudes are getting better!) Then comes the paperwork with this guy. No introduction, no hello. Possibly the rudest person, almost ruined the sale with his ignorant ass basically throwing papers at us and crying about his no commission and I wont buy the "wrap around" coverage. He basically called me stupid for not buying his overpriced coverage(which he kept changing the price of) Overall, I think I got a good deal on the car. It's a nice car. Never would I step into this dealership again unless the price was right.(this was around 2 months ago). If you go here, I hope they treat you better! read more
