I was there last night in the Piazza Romana in the Grand Elysee hotel. It is one of many restaurants/cafe/bars in the lobby.
However it seemed to me the Piazza was the only one without seatings outside - probably because of some work being done to the hotel i am not sure.
Anyway the staff there is very friendly and very professional.
As the names insinuate, the Piazza is an italian restaurant. One may have the choice to order the 'Menu' for 36EUR or to choose a la carte apetizers, main dishes (be it pasta or meat) and then desserts.
As all high class restaurants, the choice is restricted. They mostly use Lamb meat (i dont think i saw one meal with pork! yey).
I had the Sella d'Agnello al Forno, which lamb cotelettes. And it was divine.
As a dessert i had the Parfait which was the 'parfait' end to the evening.
All in all a 5 stars restaurant, in a 5 stars hotel, with a 5 stars staff. 5 stars food, and delicious wine.
The set menu is at 36EUR, and a la carte wouldn't be any cheaper.
Highly advisable if you are planning a romantic date, or a celebration. read more
