I've always loved pork schnitzel, and it's always a staple everytime visiting Germany! This time is no exception, classic pork schnitzel with brown mushroom sauce never fails! Would absolutely avoid this restaurant!…read more Firstly, THEY DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS! It's cash only and this invites substantial opportunities for tourist fraud. I would highly recommend asking for a paper copy of your bill and checking it closely to ensure it's accurate before paying anything with cash. Our waiter simply verbalized an amount and wouldn't provide a copy of the itemized bill until I repeatedly asked for one, then low and behold it was inaccurate and he somehow accidentally overcharged us. The food was very mediocre and the schnitzel is very salty. There are lots of better quality restaurants in the area that don't rip off foreign tourists with cash scams. Beware!

We live just around the corner and it's become our go-to place for homemade pasta. It's very reasonably priced and the ingredients are really fresh and tasty. I especially recommend the hausgemacht pasta with lachs. The cream sauce is delicious and fragrant, and the homemade noodles are cooked perfectly. They only make seafood dishes when they have the fresh catches, so the salmon is also super tasty. It's a simple menu and simple food, just done really, really well. The pasta has an amazing array of sauces and the pizzas are topped with fresh mozzarella, veggies and salame. You can tell that most of the people are regulars and know the owners by name.
