STRAIGHT GAS. I was craving mexican and this place was nearby. I wish i had discovered it earlier…read more The food came out quickly and was delicious. The service is great. Its a food truck with outdoor seating, so you can eat there or take it to go. We got the beef quesadilla, elote in a cup, al pastor tacos, carnitas taco, and carne taco. Also got a mexican coke & pineapple jarritos. My favorite meat was the al pastor! We also wanted to order birria but they said thats on Tuesday and Thursday, so I will be coming back to try that and the horchata. Overall, its really good and authentic mexican food that is not at all greasy and is very filling. The portions are big so you can easily get full on just 3 tacos. We devoured it all. Hidden gem forsure.

So we went to PBR rodeo and on our way back we decided to try a new food spot to review and we…read moredecided on Taco Chundito. First off all presentation was pretty good! Everything looked appetizing! Meat (carne asada)was flavorfull but a bit dry. I ordered fried chitlin tacos and they tasted good but had only one issue. On my first bite i noticed the chitlin had dirt or sand in them. This happends when you dont clean ur uncooked chitlins correctly. So then i stopped eating those tacos and tried the chicken tacos and the meat was dry too. Besides all that good dissapointment i moticed the tortillas. I dont know whos making the tortillas for this taco spot but they suck. They feel chewy and not Right. Unfortunatley i dont think we would come back till their way of cleaning or cooking the meats change. Besides all that they where friendly! Hope they can get some help on how to serve juicy meats and how to clean properly the chitlins. Salsas need a different recipe. I believe that the salsa makes the spot! Good luck Taco Chundito!

They have tables and chairs outside to eat on site. The wasn't bad. It was ok, not sure what was missing, but it didn't blow my socks off. I had Fries and chicken with cheese (Yaroca) Tamarind juice (so good)

They are over 30 minutes away from me, but I never hesitate to go when I'm craving some real Dominican street food. Their Picadera con proteínas is my go-to. They have different options for the protein and the sides for you to choose from. I always do Tostones with pechurinas (fried chicken), longaniza, carne de res, or cerdo frita. My mom loves their orejitas. When I'm craving a chimi, they are my go-to. They also have a special for chimis on Wednesday. I love their empanadas; they have an authentic Dominican flavor. Their empanada de pollo or pizza are my two favorites. Their Yaroas are excellent and very loaded. Their Rebulu fries are the perfect Dominican-style loaded fries. My family also enjoys their kipes. I can go on forever on what to try from them, but all I can say is that if you are looking for good flavor, quality, and feel of Dominican style food De Lo Mio is the place to go.
