Care was great when…read moreI took her into the office..Sadly when she moved to the nursing home due to her worsening dementia ...her care by this office became very poor. I was told they would visit her in the nursing home. I trusted them. I tried to get someone to see her for a cough {pain in chest} and a possible chest Xray..that did not happen....the nursing home did everything right..I changed to the nursing home facility MD {took less than 24 hrs for her to be seen} and she had an xray the same day and she has pneumonia! At 91 yrs old this may not play out well. Shame on this care provider.

From the office staff to those who assist the physicians, the atmosphere is always cordial , helpful and very efficient. By the time I get to see my doctor, I can assure you that no one has left any stone unturned. My physician has everything at his fingertips and there is never a need for him to chase missing preliminary information. The physicians are both thorough and informative with each of my medical visits. With rare exceptions to office patient medical emergencies I have never experienced a long wait. I am also appreciative to be able to have all laboratory tests done in office. I cannot think of one reason to seek my care elsewhere and highly recommend Valley Internal Medicine to anyone in search of excellent medical care.

I had a concerning medical issue come on suddenly and I felt like I needed to see my PCP as quickly…read moreas possible to avoid any long lasting effects from what I thought was wrong. I was going to go to an Urgent Care but thought if I could get an appointment that same day or the next I should probably go see my PCP. I called the office as soon as they opened to see if I could get in and was told there had been a cancellation and I could be there in the next 2 hours. That was a big relief. When I got there I didn't have to wait too long to be called back. After he came in and I explained what was going on he was very dismissive and acted like I was wasting his time for being there. He was in the room less than 10 minutes total and basically told me to go home and take a vitamin and eat better. He looked at some lab results I had taken just 2 days prior because I had an annual checkup already scheduled for the next week. He said he didn't see anything wrong in my bloodwork either. Later that day the issue I had seen him for started to spread to other areas of my body and I ended up in the ER because of it. Also after reviewing all of my bloodwork results from the ones taken just 2 days prior there were some things that were showing that there really was a bigger problem going on. I have decided that I will not be using him as my PCP in the future. He has a lot of 5 star reviews and only 5 star reviews. But after reading through them even the other patients who pretty much reported the same behavior from him it showed 5 stars. There is definitely something off about that. There is no way a patient treated like we were wasting his time coming to him with our petty problems would leave a 5 star reviews. That just made me not trust him even more. No doctor only has 5 star reviews So, I will have to try and find a new doctor who will actually care about their patients and be respectful to them.

The past 2 years have been extremely difficult to navigate through, and with having a huge and heartbreaking loss this year, I relied on the care of my team of providers, including Ruth. After contacting and providing an explanation and requesting a rectification, Ruth Peevey and her office have decided to treat me with coldness and have turned their back on someone in need. I would highly not recommend visiting this doctor or any of its affiliates because it's clear that the care and relationships are fictitious and deceiving. I've never felt such disappointment and disregarded with any other provider until Ruth Peevey and her office.
