She listens carefully to the patient and shares her thoughts on what she thinks is going on and what the best options are to deal with it. I've been seeing her for 18 years and think she is one of the best Doctors I've ever seen. I don't know if she is accepting new patients ( she's very well liked) - but if she is - consider yourself very lucky to get in and see her.

My entire family has been long time patients of Br. Benedict…read more Two stars because he's an amazing provider, however the front desk staff, billing, and scheduling has ALWAYS been terrible. Now with the Kadlec takeover, if you can believe it, they're EVEN WORSE. Forcing patients to schedule annual exams 1-2 years in advance is ridiculous. Putting someone on hold for 30 minutes with an automated message telling them they are last in a que of 50 people is absurd. Can't help but feel it's pure BS intended to force people to an automated form of communication, the opposite approach of the type of care that was received when the practice was independent.

Really a -0 star I transferred to Dr Sharma after my regular PCP of 17+ years moved out of state…read more What a poor choice I made. At my 1st appt to establish care, he looks over my previous chart and promptly says he's eliminating all unnecessary meds, no antidepressants, (it was verified 16 yrs ago I would benefit from a low dosage) no thyroid Rx (I have no thyroid as it was removed 2001) I was not on any opiates or anxiety meds so no issue or attitude there. Nothing. Blood tests. Yes, that's the norm but even after I explained my Rx protocols had changed my life/were necessary he didn't budge. He's just irrelevant as a physician. I researched better & found a primary w/out narcissistic tendencies.

Review for Best Med Urgent Care…read more I rarely leave reviews, but our recent experience at Best Med was disappointing enough that I felt it should be shared. We called ahead at 6:15 p.m. to ask if they were busy, knowing they closed at 7. The person on the phone said they were very busy and it would depend on how many more people arrived before us. We asked if there was a way to reserve a spot or check in online, and were told no it's first come, first served. I was in excruciating pain from a kidney stone, so we drove straight there and arrived within five minutes. The parking lot was nearly empty, just a couple of employees outside smoking. When I walked in, the receptionist said, "Sorry, we're not taking any more patients this evening," claiming two more patients had just walked in. Yet, the waiting room was completely empty, and there was no indication that the clinic was too full to help. To make matters more confusing, the front of the building has a sign saying you can check in online. I asked why this wasn't mentioned when we called, and in fact, we were told the opposite that they did not do that and so why advertise it on the building of all places?. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, especially in the context of someone clearly in visible pain. If they were done seeing patients for the night, they should've just said so upfront it would've saved us time, frustration, and unnecessary discomfort. I hope they consider improving their communication and patient care process. Transparency and empathy go a long way in healthcare
