At my 1st appt to establish care, he looks over my previous chart and promptly says he's eliminating all unnecessary meds, no antidepressants, (it was verified 16 yrs ago I would benefit from a low dosage) no thyroid Rx (I have no thyroid as it was removed 2001) I was not on any opiates or anxiety meds so no issue or attitude there. Nothing. Blood tests. Yes, that's the norm but even after I explained my Rx protocols had changed my life/were necessary he didn't budge. He's just irrelevant as a physician. I researched better & found a primary w/out narcissistic tendencies.

The first 15 mins Dr Ryan proceeded to fall asleep multiple times while my husband was discussing his concerns. Dr Ryan also kept yawning. He would fall asleep while taking notes also. We moved to the Tri-Cities almost a year ago and needed to find new general practitioner. My…read morehusband was already established with this office, so I scheduled appointments for myself and two daughters. I will start by saying I do believe that the care given by the doctors is excellent. The front office staff is always polite, professional, and welcoming! The doctors are good listeners and thorough! They had me scheduled for my annual exams quickly which was great! The downside is, as a new patient, it took me three months to be able to see the doctor for a "establishing care" appointment. This was not a thing in the state I moved from. So it took two-three months for me to get an appointment, then they had to reschedule me twice, once because they had scheduled too many establishing a care appointments for that day with that doctor and then once again because their building had been vandalized. Unfortunately, that pushed my appointment out another two months so now I've waited over five months to see a doctor to establish care. I finally get to my appointment date and have received a letter that my new doctor is now leaving the practice and I'll have to set up an establishing care appointment with a new doctor which took...another 2 months! So this is intended to be a cautionary tale if you are trying to establish care, as soon as you get to the area or as soon as you realize it... Start calling immediately to find a doctor because these wait times are definitely not something I was used to!

I will never go back here. Dr Patel was my dr then he suddenly left with no explanation. Prior to…read morethis I had health issues that required several blood tests. Some of these were apparently just lost/forgotten about and I didn't find that out until I finally called to ask about it. He never called to discuss my results so I had to just sit there and wonder. Fast forward a few months I tried to make an appointment because I have an issue that needs to be checked out. They are refusing to see me even though it wasn't my fault dr Patel quit/got fired. They're refusing to see "any new patients even if they had established care prior to this". How absurd. Good riddance.
