I went in for a job drug screen and physical. My appointment was at 12:50 PM and I left at 2:40 PM. The physical was not super long complicated, but I found myself often waiting for someone to provide the screen. The individual drew my blood was kind the doctor was kind. However, the professionalism from other individuals with the facility is not great. They often yelled for other providers, the work environment seemed horrible. Very disappointing experience. They were quick to collect a $90 copay upfront, yet the actual medical care felt rushed and dismissive. The nurse was extremely kind and professional, but unfortunately the doctor was not helpful at all. My son had fever, wheezing, and obvious breathing discomfort that gets significantly worse at night. Instead of properly addressing the symptoms or offering treatment commonly considered for croup-like inflammation and wheezing, we were simply told to buy over-the-counter medicine and sent home. As a parent, it's frustrating to watch your child struggle to breathe and feel like your concerns are brushed aside while the clinic has no problem taking your money. I understand every illness may not require the same treatment, but this felt like minimal effort and very little concern for a sick child. I left feeling unheard, disappointed, and honestly upset by the lack of care. I would not return here. read more

This has to be the worst clinic ever. I went in for chest pains. They took me in and had to wait for over 2 hrs for the xray tech to come from another clinic. Then had to wait for another 1hr for them to read it and give me the medication. That did not help and ended up at the hospital any way. That was just the start I have a 40 dollar Copay they would not take payment for they said I needed to wait to see what the insurance company paid first. Let me tell you I have tried to pay this 40 dollars for months even sent a check and they sent a check back to me for the damp 40 dollars. Now I get a call from a collection agency for the $40 . What a disorganized joke this Physician Care / Well Now. I would rather pay the 350 for an emergency room visit then ever go back to this place again their accounting department is the worst I have ever encounter. read more

Second update: Nobody ever did end up contacting me, but they did send me a refund for my $30 copay. I've therefore lifted the review from one to two stars as I still think their communication both in the clinic and at the corporate office is something that they should be embarrassed and ashamed of. Update from my original review. I reached out as requested. They responded asking for my information to look into this further. I sent back my name, birthdate, office location, and phone number as requested within 10 minutes of their request. It's been 6 days and nobody has bothered to reply. At this point, if they reach out again, I know it's only because I updated this review, not because they actually care about their patients or the quality of their care. Original review: Their website says it treats upper respiratory illnesses. What they don't tell you is that you could be waiting four hours to receive care, despite making an appointment. They also only have one physician on site, so the appointments *really* do not mean anything because it is triage based (which they also don't bother telling you until you have already waited 40 minutes after being checked into your exam room and vitals taken so that when you leave, you are still charged your co-pay). Then they're rude when you ask what is taking so long, despite being given no warning that you could be waiting hours for a cough. If you are really sick, it might make sense to go there, but not if you're just mildly ill. read more

Online appointment does NOT matter. They have all time slots open and I still had to wait around an hour for an employment physical screening. If you get unlucky and even one person comes in with something more urgent, your appointment is just out the window. I made a follow up appointment online for 12:00. Unfortunately when I arrived, I was told there's an hour and a half wait. I asked why there's a wait that long when I had an appointment. The girl at the desk told me that it's not an appointment, it's a reservation, and basically like walking in without an appointment. She was unprofessional towards me and called me "hon" in a patronizing manner. Obviously she hears this a lot. So, be ready to WAIT even if you schedule online. My experience was really concerning. The receptionist was impolite from the start. The facility didn't seem clean, I was asked to move to another room for further examination. What worried me most was that immediately after a patient left the room I was moved to, it wasn't cleaned before I was taken in. Also, before my examination, a staff member demonstrated the setup without wearing gloves, which was unsettling. To top it off, the examination itself was very uncomfortable. read more

I scheduled 2 Covid test's online and got there at the time that it showed online and they said that the scheduling wasn't for Covid, showed them the screenshot of the appointment I made online and the lady at the desk said "their system messed up" and rudely said "you gotta either re-schedule or go somewhere else to get tested" even though I showed her the screenshot, with the times on there by the way (we were on time). I would give it zero stars if I could! My husband was feeling sick on Thursday with cold symptoms. Went to the clinic on Friday and was told he didn't have a cold or any type of virus. He was told his throat was irritated and that was it. Friday night he got worse. Today we made an appointment to make sure he is covid negative since they misdiagnosed him the first time. His appointment was at 4:10 and was still waiting in the parking at 5:50. When I called to see what the hold up was, associate stated it can be a 3-4 hour wait even with an appointment. Told there was an issue. I can understand if you don't have an appointment, but he did. No communication to let the patient know wait time would be longer. I can see 20-30 minutes but not close to 2 hours. They will never get our business again. read more

I made an appointment for 430. I got there at 4:12 I checked in did everything I had to do pay my co-pay I got called in at 4:20 when the young lady took my weight & height, then we went into room five where she took my pulse with the reader , she did not have the blood pressure machine with her. And my thought was what you only have one. I know you all are making a ton of money off our insurance but you have one blood pressure machine. She said I'm going to get it. I'll be right back that was 25 minutes, she comes back takes my blood pressure and says the doctor being next what I was 40 minutes later and no one still showed up so I left there's no way I'm gonna sit there for over an hour and seven minutes, so I am disputing with my insurance and I am requesting my $25 co-pay back this place used to be great. I love coming here cause it was convenient now they don't care they're back there laughing and joking when someone should've been in there taking my blood pressure and then seeing what was wrong with me but that's fine I won't go back again I suggest you don't either. read more

I brought my 4 year old neuro-divergent son here today due to an illness he's had the past few days. I normally would have just taken him to his pediatrician, but PHA never answers their phones and I needed to get him in. I knew he was going to get a COVID test and was nervous about how it was going to go because he is so resistant to being touched around his face. I wish I would have gotten the nurse's name because she was so excellent with him and managed to keep him calm and cooperative, which is really rare for him. Dr. Vilbar was super thorough with his assessment, suggestions, and explanations after the test came back negative. Everyone there is so nice, and the office is really clean and pretty. This was a surprisingly pleasant experience. read more

I tried two different physicians urgent care facilities this year and both times were unacceptable service. This time I waited two hours just to be told that the home remedies I've tried for the past several weeks are what I should continue to do. I was also told that my primary doctor is the one who needs to write me a prescription for singular and that there's nothing she can help me with. I then asked if she can atleast give me recommendations for over the counter allergy medication that could possibly help more, she came back in the room and said since you're seeing your PCP soon I'll write you a script for 2wks of singular. I get to pharmacy, there was no script for eye drops which I thought we'd finally "negotiated." Basically, I wasted two hours, an insurance claim and deductible to be told I need to see my primary. Lastnight I could not sleep, my eyes were itching and running so bad I wanted to scratch them out, my hairline, behind my ears and neck were all itchy. Nothing otc helped. I woke up with red eyes, crust, swollen face and dry skin patches everywhere! I've have seasonal allergies and I've been treated at an urgent care before with medicated eye drops and ointments but somehow this time, there was nothing to doctor could do even when I told her I'd received meds before. NEVER AGAIN! I've seen a PA and MD and on both occasions I was basically rushed out and disregarded leaving with no help with my medical issue. Physicians Urgent care is there to take your Money, not actually provide quality medical care! Don't waste your time or money! Some medical professionals today aren't focused on patient care, moreso focused on money! Sad. I visited this location for a work comp case and I'm going to rate it 1 star. I strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere for health care needs. There's also a lot of room for improvement for this business as a whole and for each of their branches. This is gonna be long, but it's necessary to review because I'm still having pain from my work comp case from a few months ago. The waiting time can take between 30mins - 1hr, doesn't matter what day or hour of the week you go. I had multiple check ups and tried visiting at different hours and days so I could get in and get out as quick as possible, but the wait time was fairly about the same. I think on average I've spent about 2 1/2hrs total from the moment I got there and left. When you do get a room it doesn't take too long to get your blood pressure taken, but the wait for the actual physician/doctor is what takes forever. I initially went in for a work comp case because I've been having back pain for a while now. I told Dr. Rohan about what had happened at work, and how the pain has been affecting my life outside of work. At first I thought I was gonna get some good help because he seemed to know what he was talking about. But after my third check up it just didn't feel right. We kept going over the same stretches and he kept saying the same things even after I told him how the pain has progressed. After my last check up I was cleared for work as the pain went away (because I was drugged up on pain killers) so I thought it got better. Few weeks go by and the pain got worse. So I went to go see him again, as he advised to if the pain persisted, but after my case reopened we went over the same stretches and was told I was cleared for work. A few more weeks go by and I still have back pain. Some times when Dr. Rohan would talk to me he wouldn't make eye contact and that made me feel uneasy. I think any doctor should be confident enough to make eye contact with their patient. I don't know if it's just me, but that's really suspicious and weird. It's almost like they didn't really care because of how many patients they see daily. I just feel like they prescribed me some pain killers and called it a day. I feel like the issue is deeper than what it seems and I wish they would have taken it more seriously because I got the short end of the stick and I'm still pretty messed up. Sorry for the long review, but I think its necessary because I wouldn't want someone to be in the same position I am right now. Do yourself a favor and go some where else. Whoa, hold up! I have BC/BS of IL and Physicians I.C. of Oswego just told me my new co-pay is $131.00!!! I have always had a $20 co-pay at Immediate (non-Hospital Inst.) Care locations for over 10+ years. I asked why the change & up charge and the receptionist just said, literally said, "I don't know it's just something we started doing a few weeks ago." I cancelled my appointment and walked out. Called BC/BS and the directed me over to Duly Immediate in Naperville. I literally walked in and was seen in less than 5 min. Patients: please contact your benefits department and find location/provider options. Need to mention that I do not carry any balance with PIC and it is very likely I would have been issued a refund once the EOB hit, but I don't need to fund a business this way. Waste of time and money & resources. Please rethink using this provider, all signs point to a failing system. Good grief. read more

We've had nothing but great experiences with initial visit for my son's broken arm in June, to the final check up. The staff were very nice. PA was courteous, knowledgeable and patient. From front to back, service was excellent! (Even if they did have to stay passed their closing time.) We will definitely recommend this location. I went to this location for its convenience and it delivered! Needed an immunization, during COVID times, and I was in and out within 20 minutes. They also gave me the detailed paperwork of my vaccine. I went back a couple days later to get tested for COVID. Process took about 2 hours total. Not as bad compared to most other places! The staff did everything in a great timely matter while staying safe with PPE. I felt taken care for. The Physician was also very attentive and able to answer questions I had. Worst immediate care I've ever been to. I literally downloaded yelp to leave this review because it was that bad. I came to this clinic to get a strep test. The male nurse already wasn't friendly, making me feel uncomfortable. He proceeded to do the test and barley reached the back of my throat and didn't use the wooden stick to push my tongue down. I knew right away that this wasn't going to be accurate. Now don't forget I'm in horrible pain just hoping to get antibiotics to help. Test comes back negative and they send me on my way. I ended up going home and 30 min later my throat starts to close and I'm in excruciating pain. I rush over to the emergency room in panic. They do another strep test and it's positive. Every year it's the same thing. I get a cold, which turns into a long, drawn out thing with an awful cough. The kind of cough that makes your chest burn. The kind of cough that wakes up everyone, and you can't fall back to sleep. The kind of cough that occurs in the middle of the night, suddenly, and you're coughing so hard that your body is practically convulsing and the bed is squeaking. It usually happens once a year. This year, twice. After 4 days of being sick, I decided not to let this try to work itself out. I went to Physicians Immediate Care in Oswego. It's a clean, professional facility with friendly desk and nursing staff. The doctor I saw was equally friendly and maintained a polished appearance. I explained my symptoms and history with the doctor. She tried to prescribe me these cough pearls, but when I explained that the cough was most disruptive while sleeping - and I want to sleep - she prescribed me Chertussin - the holy grail of cough syrup. She also gave me a prescription for a Z pack IF I wasn't feeling better in 2 days, so I wouldn't have to go back to the urgent care again. I'll probably be back in about a year when the tri-county area can hear me hacking up a lung again. read more

As I am thankful you are open on Christmas Eve. It's been over 2 hours waiting and several people that came after me have been called back to see the doctor. There is a lack of communication to patients as to their waiting status. It would be nice to see an approximate waiting time or a line up of patients so u have an idea of when you might be seen. I finally had to speak up as the receptionists didn't put the info in the computer as each of us came in. Ugh. read more

Very dangerous place to go for a COVID test. First of all, you have to wait an hour or more in line to be "screened". The testing space is enclosed and is only about 7 x 7 square feet. Though you are required to wear a mask COVID particles can still emit into the air for several minutes. I think that's dangerous in such a small spac. read more

Came in with my daughter for a cough and was placed in the little room and just left there for an hour, nurse said that Dr will be in and we waited and waited. I came out and asked if they haven't forgot us and we were told that no. By the way there was nobody in the waiting room besides one girl that came after us. Service was fine. It is the billing that is a disaster...I was billed just under $300 for service since I tried going through my insurance company. If I did not attempt to go through insurance I would have paid "only" $150 cash. When I saw the charges passed down by my insurance company, I called the billing center for this company and they gave the standard template response: "we can't do anything since it already processed". I have used similar urgent care offices/clinics in smaller cities where the charges were $50 cash, no insurance information taken/required. I won't be using Physicians Immediate Care again. Walgreens Take Care Clinics have a longer wait, but have reasonable pricing. read more
