Was in and out in less than 40 minutes! They ran the appropriate test quickly and prescribed medication. They still sent sample to lab to get tested, just in case it's anything other than expected. They were all great and super friendly! Refreshing when you're going in for pain/symptoms or not feeling well. read more

Horrific response to my son having issues with the antibiotic. I'm completely ignoring the horrific wait times with a scheduled appointment. I called first thing in the morning and requested that they change my sons antibiotic. They said the provider would call me back. Waited 7 hours for a call back that never happened so I called the office and they put me onhold and then sent to vmail. Then I called back and the person on the phone completely lied to me regarding the possible side effects and then hung up on me. read more

Worst physicians immediate care I've ever been to. I'm really not sure why they even offer appointments when they're all 10 minutes apart, I had an appointment for 11:30, got there before 11:30 and had already filled out all my paperwork to avoid a wait. Still waited almost 40 minutes in the waiting room up front. A man walked in after me for an appointment at 11:40, how is that even possible with ONE doctor, to see patients 10 minutes apart if you know there's work to do in between patients. A nurse took me to a room after waiting about 40 minutes finally, talked to me briefly about my symptoms and said Dr would be right in. I WAITED AN ENTIRE HOUR in my treatment room. I could hear them all talking outside my room, including the doctor because I had seen her before. After about 45 minutes of waiting I walked out looking for the bathroom where all the women just stared at me blankly, including the "doctor" as they're all just sitting around talking about what to order for lunch and about restaurants. She said she'll be right in, and another almost 20 minutes pass. Once she FINALLY sees me, she asks the same questions the nurse asked, checked my heart and ears (thanks????) and then basically sends me on my way because "it's probably just a viral thing" which I have no idea what that means but okay. Says they can do a swab to test the viral infection and see what it is, but it's up to me?? Like wouldn't you want to test for things if you can anyways?? You're the doctor and I'd think that the doctor would want to help figure out what's wrong with someone, since I specifically told both her and the nurse that I've been taking allergy meds, mucinex, and nasal spray and nothing has worked. She then recommended me to take ZYRTEC!!! Gee thanks. Moral of the story, I'm EXHAUSTED from that, I took off work because I'm sick to try to get to the doctor, and ended up wasting almost 2 whole hours when I had AN APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED!!! I'm tired of these quick care doctors being ANYTHING but quick and thinking they're to entitled to waste peoples time like this. Maybe dont take appointments or WALK INS if you can't even honor the appointments that you offer, and instead of having all the nurses sitting around doing nothing, they could actually start to see patients when they arrive at their appointment time, rather than making them wait 40 minutes, then another HOUR to see a doctor. I'd give a zero if i could. I showed up there at 7:00pm and was told their appointments exceed their hours so i could not be seen. Pretty sure it's a walk in clinic. Online said walk in wait time is 15-25 minutes and they close at 8!!!!! Never again Not to mention when i called the girl told me the wait time was over an hour yet Frankfort told me New Lenox wait was 15-25 min along with online saying 15-25 min. Update... It wasn't the wait time. I was completely turned away meanwhile the online time AND the office in Frankfort said 15-25 min for New Lenox. Turning someone away when you are still open for another hour AND the online says 15-25 min wait time for walk ins is wrong. So thank you for replying however you misinterpreted my review. read more

Scheduled a last minute appointment on a Sunday after suffering all week with a sinus infection. I was trying to wait it out to contact my normal doctor but I couldn't wait another day. It was a 2 hour wait, ok no problem. Got into a room at the 2 hour mark and then waited another hour for the nurse to come in. Told her I was extremely congested and couldn't breathe through my nose as well as my numerous other symptoms. She looked in my ears and had me open my mouth, didn't even check my nose. Told me it was a virus and that I can't take anything until I've had symptoms for 7- 10 days (I was on day 7). Told me not to get the antibiotic until day 10 and sent me on my way. Started taking the antibiotic and it did absolutely nothing. Called my normal doctor, got a new antibiotic and started feeling better immediately. Extremely disappointed in the service I "received" and even more angry once I got a $281 bill for a 5 minute "visit" that did absolutely nothing for me. Will never go back. Next time I'll suffer an extra day just to call my normal doctor. Do not waste your time or money. read more

I have been here twice since I've been having trouble contacting my primary care physician. I saw a different doctor each time I was there, a Nurse Practitioner named Amy Kosnar-Parker and Physicians Assistant Michael Pendergast. (Maybe they have a rotating staff?) Both were excellent and prescribed me medication that took care of my problems. I spent about an hour here each time, most of which involved filling out paperwork for the initial check-in. This place is very convenient; I would definitely come here again. read more

I've been suffering with a wheezy cough for 4 weeks, couldn't get in to see my pcp so I give this place a try. Started having sinus issues, like my right sinus being completely closed not able to breathe. Make an appointment and the day of my appointment I get a text saying no doctor, only telemedicine. Okay fine. I get there early and wait 25 minutes after my scheduled time. Get into a room, tell my symptoms and the nurse takes vitals. My bp is high, I explain I just rushed over from work, waited, and I get nervous going to the dr. Wait another 15 for the telemedicine call. Get on the call, the dr ignores all my symptoms, wants me to belief I have covid after I told her I had a negative test, says she might give me a prescription for my cough, sinuses I can just get an over the counter nose spray (I told her I've already been doing that) proceeds to tell me she's very concerned about my blood pressure and wants to hook me up to an ekg. NOPE! I was upset I had to wait, upset you ignored my symptoms all to put me in a panic thinking I'm going to have a heart attack. Will not be back and will just suffer until I can see my pcp. read more

I came in on a Saturday, Aug 1st around 10:30am, I gave them two stars for the check in process which was really efficient! They do an initial screening and send you a link to fill in all your info. That part was great, unfortunately they are very slow administratively. As they were seeing other patients, they made a point to tell me they were waiting on the front desk. I waited for an hour and a half for the front desk to process my info so the Dr could see me. The Dr was great, she was quick, thorough and I received my discharge info quickly. Made appt easily online. Filled out some forms and was seen shortly after. Nurse was thorough and kind. Saw Dr Dudas ( could have misspelled his name) He was very thorough and I never felt rushed. He got me into another dr's office (eye) same day. Ordered meds and I did easy follow-up visit with him a few days later. I called to set up the appointment specifically with him. This building is so unprofessional. I came in with a form for a drug screening followed by about 7 other people. The lady at the desk served each and other person before checking me in for my drug screening and then gave me a hard time about the screening saying she didn't know what the form was. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone nor will I be using the facility again. read more

I was denied service. The 2 young women at the front counter lacked empathy and were rude. Then a credit check was done. I owed $15.00 and something for $108.00. I asked from where? The woman said I don't know. I said if I owe you the 15.00 I will pay now. I said I have great insurance and I did not come here to dispute a bill that was from 6 years ago in which this is the first time I am hearing about. Are they a credit agency or a quick care? Mean time I was in such sever pain and so ill, it took a lot of energy to deal with them as well as the smart ass comments. I was treated with no dignity at all. I was so sick I had someone else drive me here. The pain was so great I could hardly comprehend or argue. I left New Lenox and went to an emergency room with none life threatening issue because of them. A friend had a similar experience with her daughter. She is a nice woman and she said she wanted to punch the receptionist in the face. read more

I was seen at the New Lenox facility on August 19th. I had scheduled an appointment time of 11:20 am. I arrived early with symptoms of shortness of breath, chest wall/rib pain, severe nonproductive cough, sore throat/ear pain, sinus congestion, along with other upper respiratory symptoms not uncommon for asthmatics (20+ year history). I was made to sit in the waiting room, with increasing shortness of breath and constant cough. Everyone taken before me was at the facility for a physical exam and/or TB skin test. I was begging for someone to help me, but my please were ignored. I was advised, multiple times, the they were "very busy". Not my problem. By the time I got to a treatment room I was extremely weak and still coughing. The provider who cared for me was competent and professional. Unfortunately, what she put in my plan of care, including meds, have not helped. I'm still incredibly uncomfortable and my cough continues 24/7. I advised the provider that previous asthma attacks responded well to an injection of Betamethasone. I was advised that they " don't do that here" with no explanation as to why not. In summary, my experience ranks as the worst healthcare experience ever! Asthmatics beware, do NOT go to this facility if you're breathing is bad. Thank you. read more

I went here in March for a sinus infection. They gave me a flu test and a prescription for a bunch of meds. The meds did not work and I ended up using Teladoc for another appointment two weeks later, which actually saved me money. My bill after insurance was over $200 (without the medication cost). My insurance is really good usually. I did call and request an itemized statement, which was sent in a timely manner. I cannot believe that an office visit is $267 to just walk in the door. By far the worst visit I've had here (of many). I will not return again and I would not recommend it. read more

I was impressed by this place. Initial sign-up and check-in was a breeze. I did not take advantage of it, but there is an online check-in option to avoid waiting around at the clinic. Upon initial sign-up, the clinic takes your driver's license, insurance card, and credit card. The credit card is only charged if the insurance does not cover the treatment, or the full cost. Although I did not encounter major out-of-pocket expenses, I will admit that I was nervous that I would face a huge fee. I was initially seen by a nurse named Denis. He was hilarious. We bantered about Lincoln-Way vs Providence Catholic and how his wife is a Packers fan. I then had Dr. Clarence A. He is a humble man. With the help of a Physicians Assistant (PA-C), we took care of the problem. I am a PT Student nearly done with school, so I have a fair amount of experience with various health systems. Based on my experience, I was pleased with this urgent care center. Moreover, I was really impressed with the quality of service. A few days after my visit, the doctor gave me a call at home and told me to call him if I have any questions. I was very impressed by the at-home follow-up. Overall, this is a pretty solid urgent care clinic. I only knew these medical professionals for a few minutes, but they treated me like one of their regular patients. I was seen at the New Lenox location on 9/17/2022. I had sore throat and body Aches. The first test was covid and came back negative. The nurse practitioner came in and gave me a lecture about prescribing too much anti biotics is making the drugs ineffective. Then he said its a virus and he cannot do anything but take Motrin. After going back and forth he gave me steroids for my throat. After taking the drugs the symptoms went away but came back couple of days after finishing hte drugs. I waited couple of more days to see if I get better but got worse. Called them back and they said I have to come back and they have to charge or bill insurance again. I asked if they have a doctor in the clinic that day 9/28/2022 and the lady said they do have a provider. I told her that is not what I asked. IA sked if you have a physician today. She said that yes they have a physician assistant. Again that is not what I asked. I asked if I can speak to the region manager. They refused to provide contact info. They had me speak with someone else in the clinic. I did my own research and found out who the area manager. When I asked them to confirm the lady said she is on leave and someone else is covering for her and refused to say who. She told me she would send the are manager and the nurse practitioner and e-mail with my concerns and never heard of them. read more

I am giving them 2 stars as staff was nice. I came in very sick. Clearly miserable and not well. After a flu and strep test coming back negative, I was told it was a cold, take some Sudafed and pretty much good luck. After two days of only getting worse, I had to go to another urgent care. They were exceptional. A chest x-ray later it was determined I had pneumonia. Apparently the bronchitis I had turned into pneumonia. Thank goodness I went somewhere else and got the great care I needed. read more

Doctors care about putting you back to work and not your health. I went here for immediate care because I didn't want to go to the ER because of covid19. The safety steps for covid19 were great but that's all the positives this place has. They took an X-ray (is what I mainly went there for) and came back negative. This was an at work knee injury and I could hardly walk so I needed to make sure nothing was broken. The doctor asked if I could go back to work which I laughed and said I could hardly walk and he said "well that's up to your work". I asked him if I should go to my primary or a specialist and he said no that " it's a work injury, so they will only pay one place for you to go under workman's comp" (which is a lie) he has me going back to see him in a couple days for a follow up which I'm lucky I didn't go to. I went to a specialist and they immediately gave me a mri and found tears in my meniscus and a severe sprain in my mcl. Be careful using this place and be your own advocate because they won't. read more

I have used Physicians Immediate Care in New Lenox for myself as well as my patients. We have always been treated exceptionally. On 12/27/18, that years long streak was utterly smashed by the front desk Regina. She was exceptionally rude when I first checked in. I just figured she was having a bad moment. However, Regina's bad moment stretched into a monumental fit. At one point, I had to just say "I'm begging you to stop talking to me and just process my card." She continued her harassment. Truly, disturbing behavior for someone who has been entrusted with the "face" of this facility. I would avoid this facility at all costs if she is working that day. Also it was really nice how she was complaining to sick people that she had to work until close. read more

I was fighting a respiratory infection and my asthma was kicking in. I was in the area and stopped in. Very courteous and quick, I filled out paperwork since I have never been there. I turned it in and got called right away. Nurse took my stats and said I will let Jim know. I was like okay. Well the doctor came in and it was Jim. That is how he introduced himself to me. It was all good he checked me out gave me a scrip for z-pak and I was on my way. I was there on a Friday, on Sunday i received a call from the clinic and they just wanted to know how I was feeling and if I needed anything to call or come in.
