This place has undergone a few rebrands in the last few years we've been coming here and I'm not…read moresure it's doing them any favors. The nurses and drs here are mostly great, but the patient experience leaves a lot to be desired. The wait times have gotten longer and longer-- you wait forever in the waiting room and forever again in the exam room. A simple visit turns into a 2 hour ordeal-- and their billing department is a mess. Be aware they're not checking your insurance coverage before asking for a copay. I checked with my insurance company to verify the copay amount One World was asking for, only to find out I wasn't supposed to be charged at all. We had a past experience of them charging me for my child's annual visit, which is a preventative visit and therefore 100% covered. Totally my fault for being too distracted to realize the mistake in the moment, but lord getting it fixed has been a nightmare. I asked them to apply the $ to a future copay and they just keep sending me bills, and all my attempts to confirm they've applied that $ before I pay more go unanswered. It's not a good feeling not being able to fully trust the competency of an entity that's supposed to be a resource of care for my kids.

I've been coming here with my daughter since she was three when their office was across the street…read more When booking her annual checkup the staff booked it too early, so when I arrived I was told she couldn't be seen. It took me 1 1/2 hours to get her to this appointment due to an accident that backed up traffic. I asked the receptionist why no one called and she told me they called yesterday, but my phone wouldn't ring and didn't have voicemail set up, which was a complete lie. I asked to speak with the person who called and was told she wasn't in. I asked her to read me the number on file, which was correct and to call it which she did and it rang and went to my voicemail. No apology, and the only response: "so when do you want to rebook". If you're a no show they charge you $25, but if they mess up they don't even take accountability. When walking out I said to her "thank you and have a nice day", which I really shouldn't have but I'm a nice person and surprise, surprise she said NOTHING. I've been coming here for 8 years and this is how they treat their patients. This is unacceptable. If you're contemplating coming here DON'T! There are many more great pediatricians in the area. We did reschedule, so we could get it done as she was going into middle school and needed it, but have since found another provider. Also, her annual checkups are free, but I got an email with a bill, thankfully I got it fixed. This place is a mess.

I'm shocked at the negative reviews from 4+ years ago, but…read morealso I've been going to Cannizzaro Integrative Pediatric Center for just the past two years. My experience has been absolutely wonderful and if you are looking for an integrative pediatrician, I truly believe you will not find anything better than this practice. Staff - I adore all of the staff at CIPC. Dr.C was incredibly intelligent and kind. Debi and Gail, the NPs are super sweet and take time to explain everything. Mel, Wendy, and the other nurses are a wealth of knowledge and remember patients on a first name basis! Ear infections - I want to highlight this because its so significant to me. CIPC rarely ever prescribes antibiotics for ear infections. You know why? Because most ear infections can be solved by a quick chiropractic adjustment to drain the tubes. When my oldest son, 4 months at the time, presented with redness and fluid in his ears, our previous pediatrician gave him a dose of antibiotics. When that didn't solve it, they wanted to give him ANOTHER dose. Nope, moved over to CIPC and after one look, then sent us to an integrative chiropractor. Within a week, he was perfectly healed! We now go proactively once a month to get both of my kids ears adjusted and neither of them have ever had an ear infection! We started full time as patients after that. Service - the service in my opinion is the best of the best. Every appt is 30-60 minutes long! Most ped offices give you 10-15 minutes tops, so this is unique. They take time to hear your concerns, address them, and solve medical problems by getting to the root cause of the issue instead of just writing a prescription to mask symptoms of underlying disease. They are always available - my youngest son (6 months) is currently sick and I've called nearly every day to speak to a nurse. They always take my call, spend time on the phone with me to hear my concerns, and help me out with either an appt or OTC recommendations. This practice is more boutique-style, so there is a $100/month charge for your children to be a patient there. But to me, it's 10000% worth every penny. Vaccines - this may or may not be important to you, but I love that they start their *optional* vaccine schedule at 6 months instead of 2 months. This gives time for the gut micro biome to become more established before starting vaccines and the detox process. Additionally, they prefer to vaccination when your child is healthy. When my oldest was 9 months old, he was due for a vaccine, but when I brought him in, he had a mild temperature and a little cold. It was advised we wait until he is 100% healthy before giving him the vaccine - amazing. All other ped offices would have given it to him anyways, potentially making him feel worse. We came back 3 weeks later when he was healthy and it was a quick in and out 10 min appt for the shot. I LOVE CIPC. I started at another very popular ped office but was discouraged when they kept prescribing my son antibiotics and medicines for seemingly minor issues. My two boys (toddler and 6m old) have never had to be on any antibiotics or prescription meds since joining CIPC. Every ailment has been solved with a natural, integrative approach and for that, I'm eternally grateful.

I am writing this review to document a deeply disappointing and concerning experience with this…read morepediatric office during my newborn's visits. From a clinical standpoint, the care was unprofessional and unnecessarily distressing. Blood work could not be completed competently during our visit, resulting in multiple painful needle sticks for our newborn without success. Ultimately, the clinic was unable to perform the required testing at all due to the lack of basic on-site laboratory capability and appropriate instruments. We were sent to a hospital to repeat the blood work entirely--an inconvenience and burden that should never occur during routine newborn care. The administrative and billing issues were even more troubling. The clinic provided incorrect information to the hospital, which caused our insurance to initially deny coverage for services that should have been fully covered. As a result, we received a bill from the hospital that we should not have been responsible for. Additionally, the clinic submitted incorrect and questionable billing codes to our insurance: A well-baby visit was incorrectly coded as a standard office visit, leading to insurance denial. A charge was submitted for "surgical skin removal," a procedure that was never discussed, never consented to, and never performed. This description strongly suggests circumcision-related billing, which we categorically did not authorize and would never consent to for our child. We also observed duplicate billing submissions to our insurance for the same visit on multiple occasions. After spending an excessive amount of time on the phone with both the clinic and our insurance company, some of these billing issues were resolved only because our insurance provider intervened directly and challenged the improper and fraudulent charges with the clinic. These corrections did not occur through any proactive effort or accountability on the part of the pediatric office. Despite this, the clinic continues to bill us for a "deductible" related to services that were never performed and should not exist, even after insurance involvement and repeated clarification. This ongoing attempt to collect payment for non-rendered services is unacceptable. Beyond the financial impact, this situation resulted in a significant and unreasonable amount of time wasted. We were forced to make numerous phone calls, follow up repeatedly, and provide documentation simply to correct errors that originated from this office. Despite persistent outreach, the clinic was largely unresponsive and unwilling to meaningfully assist in resolving the issues they created. When these concerns were raised, there was no transparency, no clear explanation, and no effort to prevent recurrence. The lack of accountability is especially troubling in a practice entrusted with newborn care. Given the combination of inadequate clinical capability, repeated billing errors, reliance on insurance intervention to correct improper charges, continued attempts to collect for services not rendered, and the substantial time burden placed on patients, we lost all confidence in this practice. We canceled our future appointments and will not be returning. I strongly recommend that prospective parents proceed with caution, closely review all insurance claims submitted by this office, and ensure they are comfortable with both the clinical and administrative standards before establishing care here.
