At tht point he gave me a prescription for ibuprofen. He gave me a 3 month script but it took almost a year to use as it's an as needed not everyday thing. I figured after a year it would be no good so I stopped today to see abt a refill. I was informed tht I would need to make an appt before they could refill it. Sounds like a scam to me since it's only ibuprofen. Not sure what I would need to make an appt(medical wise) for nor should my insurance have to cover tht. I know if it would have been Dr. Olsen it would not have been an issue IMO. I wasn't going to pay a copay and gave my insurance billed just for tht. Like I said, I'm really disappointed in his staff.

I am not one to complain about anyone, but I would not recommend service here if you are in a MVA…read more I saw Doctor Emmerson and he was fantastic and great, as was the nurses I saw in person. I would however say whoever handles their desk and/or billing lacked quite a bit. They were rude and hostile. They had a bad attitude, were condescending and treated me like I was a terrible person because I couldn't get them everything they wanted. I was given the run-around a lot, made to feel small and like I was a bad person for things out of my control. They asked for things I could not get them, then when I did finally get them things they stated that was not what they asked for. They stated I needed to make another ER trip,l and/or go to a new walkin doctor for a new refferal to them and would not explain why to me when i questioned how that would help. They told me to get a lawyer for my mva and said I HAD to have a claim. even after I explained my current lawyer did not feel I had a case and had released me. I feel like all tlshe did was throw these things at me so I would get discouraged and give up. It made no difference to them if I had insurance through my work or that I had been trying to get a cast on for nearly 2 weeks for a clearly broken wrist. They told me the doctor should never have seen me in the first place (on two different phone calls) and were quite rude when I got upset because they said this and a few other things. I tried all I could to be patient and work with everyone there but this woman was quite rude. She felt the need to pick at and make me feel like I didn't have the right to service. After she hung up on me the second time I got the picture I was not going to be seen if this woman had any say. I am sure most of the office is fantastic and like I said I am the last one to complain, but one bad apple sours the lot. I will forever be grateful that Doctor Emerson at least splinted my arm while I continue my fight to get my arm put in a cast and properly taken care of. To any future patients I hope you have more luck than I did.
