LOVED my experience with this shop. I called to ask for a last minute Tattoo before I head to the airport and they were able to fit me in. I wanted a Hummingbird the size of a Quarter and walked out with a Tattoo better than I had envisioned and with a-lot of detail for it being so small. Highly recommend this place and Eric! Awesome environment, very clean and neat and great service! read more

Adrian and Faith are total badasses - they did tattoos for my family and when I came back months and months later for a touch up, they remembered me and took care of me immediately. The vibes with them are always immaculate and the shop is nice/clean. They are such talented artists and that shop is lucky to have them both. Thanks a ton, Faith&Adrian! read more

I made an appointment for when I would be in town. Adrian the owner and artist was great. I just got a simple cactus and mountain design with the numbers 826 in them and am happy with it. Just remember when reading people's reviews that your reading that persons opinion. Who knows what there day was like before they went in or when they wrote the review. Always take what you read knowing it's someone's opinion. The whole process was easy and good. When I come back to Sedona with my husband I will bring him here for a tattoo. I will post a pic tomorrow once the clear cover and tape is off. I have a lot of big tattoo pieces and this is not my first, maybe one of my quickest and smallest but I'm not new to tattoos and everything was done in a clean, safe manor. read more

Had the best experience here! We were visiting Sedona from CA and called to see if they could fit in 3 people for small tattoos. They asked if we were available the following day which we absolutely said yes to. Walked in the next day and was greeted by Eric. Such an amazing and friendly guy. He let us pick through a bunch of designs and gave us a lot of insight about size, placement, etc. This was my first tattoo, so I was a little scared, but Eric was so nice and talked me through everything. I couldn't be more happy with my tattoo. If you find yourself in Sedona and want to remember the trip, I highly recommend coming here! Thank you again Eric for everything! read more

We made a same day appointment for matching tattoos and Adrian was courteous over the phone when we called in to schedule! He saw us right away during our appointment and designed our tattoos to be exactly what we wanted. We had just gotten married at Bell Rock and he drew up the design within minutes. The shop was clean and Adrian was very attentive to our needs. I was very nervous since this was my first tattoo and he made sure I was ready before we started. His jokes and calm demeanor made me feel more at ease. He was quick, but precise and our tattoos are healing amazingly 4 days later. read more

Made my appointment with Adrian about two weeks before our visit from Brooklyn to Sedona. Was very excited to get a vortex tattoo done with the red dirt ink. Had just completed a tour of the Honanki Heritage site and wanted a petroglyph spiral on my right elbow. My experience with Adrian could not have gone better and though the elbow is a difficult placement, he knocked it out of the park! It is healing beautifully and I couldn't be happier to have a piece of Sedona a part of me moving forward. I look forward to more visits to Sedona and more work done by Adrian and Physical Graffiti. read more

My friend and I came to Sedona and decided to get some tattoos. We were walk-ins on a week day, and Eric was nice enough to see us immediately. He did a fantastic job and we really enjoyed working with him! So much so, that I came back the second day to get a few more tattoos. Eric was more than accommodating. And so fun to talk to! Chill and professional. He tattooed my forearm, ears, and chest. I did do the Airport Vortex ink for one tattoo and it was lovely. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Sedona! read more

On vacation with my boyfriend, who has multiple tattoos, and on our last day, on a whim, we said "why not get tattoos??" I don't have any, so I was reasonably nervous, but had one in mind that I've been thinking about for a long time so I was really excited! Adrian did mine, and Eric did my boyfriend's, and man were we both pleased. We were walk ins, and they were both so friendly and catered to exactly what we wanted. My boyfriend, something bold and large, and me, something small and hide-able (sorry mom!). It was easy pain wise, and they were so nice the time flew by. I wish we lived in Sedona or close by so that we could visit again for our next ones! I cannot recommend them enough! read more

The wife and I were on vacation from Southern California and figured why not get a tattoo. Given that this place was the highest rated place in Sedona, we decided to head over there to chat them up and make an appointment. Within minutes we knew this was the place for us. Eric was delightful to talk to and clear and assuring about everything. Every question we had was answered and then some. We made an appointment on the spot. Adrian and Eric both were present and ready for us even though we arrived earlier than they'd asked, and within an hour I had my first ink and my wife had a new tattoo behind her ear AND a tongue piercing. They were pleasant, efficient, and best of all talented. Any doubts, you can refer to the portfolios they have in their lobby or their Instagram. If we come back to Sedona, we're coming back here. read more

i came before and got a tattoo by adrian and it was a nice experience so i back a second time hoping to work with the same artist but then was switched to a different artist last minute. he is new to the studio im assuming, this guy was so rude and said it was stupid that "young kids don't get shading then grow up and hate it" and was just going back and forth with me on why he thought not shading was stupid. like was very serious about how dumb he thought not shading was, even though it's my choice. then said because i requested no shading that he hates leaving a tattoo unfinished but "if that's what you want". he also had a nasty attitude when telling him the plan was to touch up a tattoo i got from another artist (adrian) when i was originally going to get my tattoo from him in the first place. his words were "what do you mean touch up there's no such thing as a touch up i'm not touching up another artists work it would be a new tattoo" but failed to ask who i got it from considering he was sitting 50 ft away from him. he ruined the experience for me and i will not be returning. i regret letting him do my tattoo in the first place read more

My wife and I were visiting the area for the first time and thought a tattoo would be a great piece of art to take home. We visited the shop first and noticed the cool vibe and friendly feel. It was also very clean! It was nice because they are still enforcing mask regulations and practicing safely to continue to follow health guidelines re Covid. We were greeted almost right away by Adrian. We told him that we were from out of town and told him what we wanted. He was able to accommodate us and had us come in a few days later so he could work on the designs. Adrian absolutely met our expectations and more. He is an amazing artist and not heavy handed which I always appreciate! If you are lucky enough you might meet Chopper if he decides to come out for you. We will absolutely be back for more art when we visit Sedona! Thank you again Adrian! read more

Accommodated our large party while there for a destination wedding. Speedy efficient and very convenient not over priced at all!

Went here to get a nose ring. Adrienne was very helpful and kind. He helped me put in my nose ring. Looks great!

No question best tattoo shop in AZ...I've been tattooed by both artist Adrian & Eric and each one is uniquely talented in their own styles so check out their books to get a feel for what they offer. Recently Eric and I co-created the majority of my artwork in order to bring everything together, just check out the flower of life pattern around the Ganesh this outline took 6 hours alone something many artist wouldn't even attempt with the need for such precise line work. Needless to say this man is a legend! read more

Went here in the beginning of the week to get my belly pierced, the dude put a nose ring in instead of a bar. Not even 2 days later the ball attached to the ring came out and now it's red all around it. Called a day before and asked if they could switch it to a bar since it was moving around a lot and was uncomfortable and the guy said absolutely not. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Terrible. I in no way recommend going here. Zero stars for this place. Didn't even mean to click one read more

On a girls weekend trip we decided to check out Physical Graffiti. Eric and Adrien were very friendly and helpful with great recommendations to the design we had been wanting for awhile. Both are amazing artists and well worth the trip. Brought my daughter and her friend back the following day for their first tattoos. Eric did another amazing job and Mandy was great helping them work through the anxiety of getting your first tattoo. Too light handed for my liking. Paid $150 to get a needle (with little to no ink) ran across my skin. This "tattoo" isn't even a week old. Highly disappointed and I didn't even want to make this review but I'm from out of state and can't just go back to get my "free touch up". I personally don't think this is a touch up issue.. I simply didn't get tattooed in the first place. I sent an email to which the only response I got was "You get a free touch up with the original service." Not an apology for botching my arm. And let me just be clear I have no issues with the art that was suppose to be on my arm. I'm upset with the fact that this shop refuses to own up to their screw ups and I feel as tho I was scammed. read more

Eric did a couple pieces for me while I was in Sedona. I highly recommend this studio and Eric. Super knowledgeable about the art and science of tattooing, and did a wonderful job on the grasshopper and Om that I had done. The Red Rock pigment ink is a cool touch, which I had Eric use for the Om. Next time I'm in Sedona I'll get another piece by Eric. read more

Adrian has been the biggest help ever. I can't stop coming back for new piercings. Not that anyone should follow my lead, but the studio was so clean and Adrian did my piercings in such an efficient way, I know I experienced as little as possible. The staff here are super nice and helpful. It's definitely the cleanest and most professional studio I've ever been to. So lucky to live across the street! I had quite a few issues of my own creation (ie pulling my nose piercing out) and it was dealt with asap in such a professional way. Anyway, I'll stop there but 10/10 would recommend. read more

We stopped by Physical Graffiti on a Wednesday afternoon on a whim hoping to get my hopeful 15-year old nephew his ear pierced. He was dying to have it done. Adrian immediately greeted us, his mother completed the required paperwork, and Adrian got to work. He was really informative and helped calm my nervous nephew during the ear-piercing process. We were so happy with his calm nature and it definitely helped ease the process. Overall, I would definitely recommend Physical Graffiti and Adrian was super nice! read more

I live in the VOC and go to Red Rock High School. Adrian did my nose piercing the other day and I am beyond happy with it. I can say, I will def be back next year for my eyebrow piercing. I used another shop last year for my first piercing and Physical Graffiti was so much more professional, clean, and friendly, plus the views here are amazing. I can't wait until I'm 18 to go back to Adrian for a tattoo. The tattoo work I saw while I was there was spectacular. read more

I showed up around 4:15 on Saturday afternoon for a piercing. I get a blank look from the person behind the counter. Oops, they have no one available for that service. He asked if I was local. I am not joking when I say this is the BEST tattoo shop I've ever been to. My friend and I went spontaneously expecting a normal tattoo shop visit, not much talking, not very nice people, etc. but we were so surprised when we were greeted with smiles, laughs, and a puppy. The artist that performed my piercing seemed to be the owner based on photos in the shop, HE WAS SO KIND, SO PATIENT, SO RESPECTFUL!! I'm from Phoenix but will definitely make the drive just to have this experience again. Thankyou so much to everyone that works there! Y'all are the best read more

I came into the shop as a walkin on a Saturday with more of a feeling of what I wanted depicted than a design and Adrian was super patient with me. After a long conversation we came up with a design that I am really pleased with. He was a really empathetic tattoo artist checking in on me often and a really interesting individual which made our conversation during the session flow naturally. I got the vortex ink which was a really special offering that now looks amazing and makes me feel grounded to the amazing energy I felt during my hikes. The shop was clean and well organized. Before I write this I will add a disclaimer that I did not get any work done (due to the circumstances I will lay out for you), so I cannot speak to the quality of the work, which looks to be great. However, while on vacation, I made a call shortly after opening on a Friday, and was greeted by a super nice guy (who's name I did not catch) who was happy to welcome me in for a walk in at about 3 that day. I come back at about 2:50 in an effort to check in early, and I wait at the counter for almost 10 minutes. I wouldn't think much of it, but I was told on the phone earlier, that there were a few artists in that day, and it seemed like there was no one besides one person giving a piercing. My first impression of the place was that it was uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially because it seemed that all of the artists that were suppose to be there were not. There were signs in the place saying that you had to wear a mask no exceptions, as well as some vulgar propaganda describing those who choose not to wear their mask "the right way". So I put a mask on and had it on below my nose in an effort to breathe better, and because there was no one else around me. After about 10 minutes someone comes out of the bathroom, and greets me at the counter by saying "Can you wear your mask the right way?" I was a little bit thrown off that this is the way I would be greeted, so I asked him to clarify. He proceeded to tell me to wear it over my nose and mouth. At that point I decided that I didn't feel comfortable enough to pay these people to ink my skin forever. I left and decided to get my work done later on in my road trip, but I was disappointed by the bad taste Physical Graffiti left in my mouth. I was really interested in the red rock vortex ink that they had and was excited about it. However when I went in, I was barely greeted by a rude guy who attempted to enforce California-level COVID rules like its was Spring 2020. I guess if you don't care about this, then I'm talking to no one, but the rest of Sedona had been super reasonable and chill about masks so this was unfortunate. Tattoo shops have an amazing opportunity to be welcoming and make people feel comfortable, rather than shove a worldview down peoples throats. I wish the shop the best and I am not looking for them to do anything, but I wanted to make everyone aware so they know what they will be getting if they have a differing opinion or worldview. I took a vacation from California to relax, not feel like I was back at home. Disappointed. read more
