Tanisha and Henry said it all perfectly in their reviews. In fact, I took screenshots and used…read moretheir recommendations as a roadmap. Glad I did. Type in Terminal 4 parking. Park on any level. Elevator to check-in. Next to Dunkin' Donuts. The agent was right outside the door with his clipboard and took me 12 minutes early. He verified my info and asked for my passport. He asked me two questions and said my fingerprints from my pre-check qualify so I didn't need to take those. Took my picture. It was a 3 minute appt from start to finish. I imagine if you dint have pre-check it will be a bit longer. I parked on level 9 (but I'd park on 5 next time) and pulled a ticket upon entering. I was in my car again in probably 7 minutes, start to finish. My only gripe is the cost for parking. I asked the agent if they validated parking because I was only there 3 minutes. He said no, but if I hurried, it might be free. I had high hopes. I was back to the ticket exit area within 10 minutes but my paper card was rejected! I tried 4 different machines and had to back my car up each time. Super annoying and I still paid $6 for being there a total of 15 minutes when I finally had to find a ticket agent to help me and she declared my ticket was defunct. It took me longer to get help for my ticket than it did for the entire "interview" for global entry. Now I'm curious if anyone else can get in and out in under 10 minutes and still have to pay the $6. I was hoping to have an answer to that question but the ticket ruined me.

Easy breezy lemony squeezy. Obviously you still pay for airport parking. My recommendation would be…read moreterminal 4 parking, go to the 9th floor & take the elevator in the B section to the 3rd floor. The center is across from Dunkin' Donuts. There is a convenient sign that is waiting specifically for global entry appointments. The sign is small & in a corner. There are 6 seats. The appointments are structured so make sure you're there on time or early. Early would probably be better. The appointments are like 5 mins. Bring your passport. Be prepared to take a photo. Get your fingerprints. That's it. office opens at 7AM. They were nice. It was an easy experience.

I have visited the City of Phoenix on several occasions over the years. A couple times were for my…read morehalf marathons when I used to do them prior to COVID-19. Most recently, my eldest daughter and I were passing through Phoenix to get to Scottsdale as that was where we were staying. We came here to play indoor pickleball at Pickleball Kingdom (actually located in Chandler, AZ, neighbor of Phoenix). Phoenix is somewhat metropolitan, but not like New York City. The buildings in downtown are not very tall. Internet service reception is horrible. Phoenix does have an appeal for it's own uniqueness. That's probably why people still visit this city frequently.

The traffic driving through Phoenix is just like being in Los Angeles. I've seen so many crazy things on the roads in Phoenix. You're lucky if you get from point A to point B in one piece (your car and yourself!) the driving is so bad. The snow birds (AKA senior citizens from the northeast states) show up in the fall and don't leave until about April/May. They are everywhere! Go to a grocery store, they are there buying everything off the shelves. Go to a restaurant, there they are taking up all the seating and clogging up the parking lots. Overall, Phoenix is just a large city in the middle of a desert. Nothing special and has the same problems as other large cities in America. They have had road construction through the main highways (right through the city of Phoenix) that has been ongoing since about 2017. Now into 2024 and there is still road construction all over the area. When will it end??? Nobody seems to know. Although I come here often, not a fan.
