US CUSTOMS OF HOMELAND SECURITY US CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION The door is to the left of the Phoenix Airport Museum display

Made a 1pm appointment and arrived at the parking terminal at 12:13pm. Definitely park in terminal 4 parking (parking for 1 hour is $4) and drive all the way up to Zone 9. Take the B elevator down to level 3 and it's literally a few steps to a door for Global Entry, just left of the Phoenix Airport Museum display (Note: they are Definitely not taking walk ins). There is no check-in process either. A Customs agents came out and asked if anyone had an appointment. My appointment was at 1pm, but took me in at 12:40pm. Got asked a few questions to confirm my identity, showed Passport, paid $97.25 for my Sentri card, and was told it should arrive in 2-3 weeks. Officer Bustamante was awesome and made my visit smooth. Done by 12:52pm. Paid $4 since it was under an hour with debit card on exiting the winding driveway from level 9.

Waiting room has only 6 chairs... and often has 20 people waiting.

Seriously?!? You walk in to a small area which has 6 seats... one federal employee... who couldn't move slower if she was sleeping... no greeter, so you have no idea how long the wait will be... your just at their mercy. Horrible experience. Next time I will be trying a different branch for sure! Horrible

Location hasn't changed. Still located in Terminal 4, 3rd floor by Dunkin Donuts and B Gates.

Walk toward information booth and behind it to the left between B Gates entrance and Dunkin Donuts you can see the door to U.

Most recently, my eldest daughter and I were passing through Phoenix to get to Scottsdale as that was where we were staying. We came here to play indoor pickleball at Pickleball Kingdom (actually located in Chandler, AZ, neighbor of Phoenix). Phoenix is somewhat metropolitan, but not like New York City. The buildings in downtown are not very tall. Internet service reception is horrible. Phoenix does have an appeal for it's own uniqueness. That's probably why people still visit this city frequently.

The traffic driving through Phoenix is just like being in Los Angeles. I've seen so many crazy things on the roads in Phoenix. You're lucky if you get from point A to point B in one piece (your car and yourself!) the driving is so bad. The snow birds (AKA senior citizens from the northeast states) show up in the fall and don't leave until about April/May. They are everywhere! Go to a grocery store, they are there buying everything off the shelves. Go to a restaurant, there they are taking up all the seating and clogging up the parking lots. Overall, Phoenix is just a large city in the middle of a desert. Nothing special and has the same problems as other large cities in America. They have had road construction through the main highways (right through the city of Phoenix) that has been ongoing since about 2017. Now into 2024 and there is still road construction all over the area. When will it end??? Nobody seems to know. Although I come here often, not a fan.

It's truly remarkable how folks managed to survive in the Arizona desert without the luxuries of running water, air conditioning, etc. High praise to the archeologists who have uncovered these adobe structures including the large public gathering place.
