I ordered Spring Rolls with Shrimp and they were the best I've ever had ! The shrimp were deveined and generous portions in each bite along with the dipping peanut sauce, I asked the waitress for more it was so good! I overheard one of the customers order the Green Curry and I really wished I had ordered that to go! I was staying close by from out of town and this place hit the spot, I recommend!

We were pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. The restaurant itself is a little worn out and in need of a little bit of TLC; it is a little divey and what I refer to as a little sticky. If you can get past that we do offer that the service was very pleasant and the food was exceptionally authentic. The steamed dumplings were outstanding, and the pad thai had wonderful, citric flavors. There is a spice guide on the inside of the menu with a warning, and I would strongly hear that you go one or two levels lower on the heat that you would normally ask for. Everything was good but the pod Thai was flamethrower spicy! The price point per person seemed a little bit steep for the value offered.

Not so good, fairly disappointing…read more Applebee's can be hit and miss, but this location really seems to strike out. Although my last experience here wasn't completely horrible, it was well below expectation. Service was attentive, but the server seemed rushed and annoyed most of the time. My friend didn't get a straw and our server was frustrated at her request for one. She was told to look in her silverware bundle, but guess what, there was NO straw in there! It wasn't particularly busy either, so that attitude didn't make a lot of sense. After we turned down extra drinks for a second time, our waitress seemed even more frustrated and was ready for us to leave. Speaking of drinks, the patron margarita is lacking here, so I opted to try a "mucho size" summer squeeze this time. The drink was refreshing, but way too watered down. Half of the glass was ice too, so it ended up working like an average sized drink at best. No wonder why I didn't order a second one, I wasn't going to waste the money. The food was okay, but options were limited. They didn't even have guacamole, which seemed ridiculous. There may not be many places to eat at in Liberal, but I don't think this Applebee's is worth it.

The rice looks Mexican rice...I mean if you can turn Jasmine Rice in to a Mexican looking fried rice...kudos to you. But other parts of the meal were fairly doable. The broccoli salad was light and refreshing, the hot mustard made to my liking, strong but just the right amount of intensity, dip some of the peppered fried chicken in there and it was a rather good complimentary pairing. The cabbages sauteed looked fresh, bbq ribs were legit. And although nothing sophisticated with their sushi, the sushi tasted much better than Fujisan refrigerated sushi you'd get at Costco. Hot and sour soup passes my acceptance bar. And they have creme corn and ice cream. So, having driven back and forth on the 54 Highway connecting Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico on one diagonal byway, I instantly knew all these years, this must be some kind of Mule Route where border migrants come in and where drugs can make there way up north. Considering the non-existence of State Troopers and Border Patrol....this is Cartel Heaven. Then dropping in here at this Super Buffet in Nomansland Guymon Oklahoma, it just all confirmed my notion....this is Mexican Sanctuary. The Buffett is packed, Hispanic dialogue fills the atmosphere, the owners were a young couple in their late 40s, Fuzhounese / Fuqingnese Chinese and they ran this entire establishment with Mexican, Guatemalan Kitchen Staff. Impressive...but please....teach the staff to get the lomein and fried rice right. The Fuzhounese Chinese are the equivalent to the Patels of India. They come to America by incurring large sums of debt paid to a Fuzhounese / Fuqingnese human trafficking organizations called snake heads, and the snake heads either get them the Visas to enter into the United States or circumvent entering the US by coming through Mexico; then their first stop is Brooklyn, NY 8th Avenue where they're settled in with a phone and soon they're sent off to some middle of nowhere town in the Heartland of America, working in another Fuzhounese owned restaurant & Buffett until they manage to secure an underground loan to finance their own buffett in another town like this one, Guymon Oklahoma. And so going back to the Patels whom own ever block of motels on America's highways, the Fuzhounese run every Buffett, Sushi you come across in every small town America. I'll end it here with my bantering. This buffett is an ok stop in between Kansas City and Tucumcari New Mexico. Is it great? F*ck no. But will it fuel you up? F*ck yes. Would I recommend? If On highway 54, yes.

The difference between the Hibachi and Samurai bowls are rice NOODLES and udon NOODLES. Plus rice, fried or white. If you are like me and just want meat and vegetables and rice, you have to make sure to tell them no noodles. The sauce also does not come on the side, it comes on top of your noodles. So if you have ordered four different sauces, good luck. The chicken teriyaki dumplings were pretty tasty, and the food itself was okay. But it was a lot of carbs. My friend was not very impressed. She felt that the whole meal lacked cohesion. I felt that the restaurant needed to hire me to rewrite the menu in a cohesive manner. There were just random words all over the place! And white words on a black menu is just something that should never be done. *Editing this review to add that my stomach hurt that night and all the next day. Ok so maybe he had gloves on I'm not sure but he definitely had his hands deep in the noodles container!!! Yikes!! So we sit down order food and appetizers come out fairly quick but we're missing one of them that comes out towards the end of our sitting even after we mentioned we didn't want them after all during the middle of our meal the server took it upon herself to bring them anyways! We all ordered a different plate but they all looked the same for whatever reason! So at this point just put rice noodles chicken and steak on the menu! Because again we all ordered something different but got the same thing on our plates! Now we ordered sushi!!! Idk what was going on with the sushi but it was like the sushi was made with mushed rice!! Not to mention the kitchen staff eating over the prep area after prepping someone's food!!! Now it's time for check out! Before we ordered we mentioned it would be a separate bill so 3 different tabs! No problem was stated!! When it's time to check out the server ask again who's on what tab we go to check out and now I'm stuck with paying for 3 extra items because the server failed to separate the checks properly! No apology just a look of confusion! Not a good experience the food I'll give it a mid 4/10 would i recommend this place to others absolutely not! The menu is again full of stuff but everyone gets the same thing when brought to the table!

A special menu was provided for my guests to make personal selections that included appetizers, main meal, salads and desert selections. The main meal had a selection of steaks, salmon, chicken and everybodys favorite - chicken fried steak. Each meal came with a protien selection, starch and vegetable. Every meal was prepared to perfection. The desert selection of a layered chocolate cake or cheesecake topped off the experience. Our server worked hard and efficiently to make everyone happy. Bravo!!
