Unfortunately in this update I'm removing a star which takes them down to three. Why? I originally found Photographic pre pandemic on the innerWeb with the intent of having an old family photo restored. Jump forward to the first of October this year when I finally dropped that photo off. They were professional and helpful, working with me to get an estimate. I went ahead paying 50% up front and left with the understanding they would email me when ready. Since our discussion included them telling me all work was done in house,I didn't ask about when it may be ready After a month I called and was told it's usually 6 weeks. Seems long but hey, the photo is 140 so...after 7 weeks I called and was told it was submitted and should be next week. After 2 months and $200 I picked up my photo. I did not shop other services for prices etc or length of time. This photo is important to me so I went with Photographique because of reviews. However,and I told them this up front,the first photo is a test run and I have 10 more. While I'm happy with the work,it seems expensive considering the photo was in good shape to begin with. I wandered in the store to pass time, but actually found a lot of great things. First, after discussing with one of the staff that I wasn't actually he said "I bet you have pictures on your phone that like to see in a that was true so I went through my phone selected some photos that I would like to frame and ordered them. we also had a discussion about their ability to restore older photos that may be damaged. I have the 1970s and they were able to restore them and preserve them. Cute little store, really friendly staff and service is great. read more

its been 7 days and I've heard nothing about my film, which is wild considering the price. Was recommended this place and thought to try it out but now I just feel dumb- mailing it somewhere to be developed would have been cheaper and far more efficient. read more

On August 17, 2022, I sat down with Cassandra at Photographique. We discussed reimaging a 1957 photo with a vintage effect on either a vertical or horizontal layout. After approximately 90 days of waiting, I called Photographique on Tuesday 11/15/22 and was told the job was complete and I could stop by anytime to pick it up. On Wednesday, 11/16/22, I stopped by Photographique. The reproduction was awful and not what I ordered. Ginger arrived at the counter and explained that she did not see any notes on the file regarding a 'vintage' format. I confirmed the vintage effect was discussed with Cassandra. I was not sure why there were no contemporaneous notes on the order. But, I was certain that is what I explained to Cassandra originally. Cassandra showed up at the counter, took over the situation and asked if we could go to a side room off from the entry way to discuss the situation. I agreed. Cassandra show me the completed 8 1/2 X 11 inch photos that were grainy, blurred, and a square crop of the original photo. The photos were awful. Cassandra also told me she had no notes of the vintage effect. Again, I assured her we discussed the vintage effect during our approximate 45 minute conversation on 8/17/22. She assured me the order would be redone, and a proof would be emailed to me by the end of this week. I confirmed that since today was Wednesday that she would have something back to me by Friday 11/18/22. She agreed. I left the store feeling as if I was responsible for Cassandra not making any notes on the order about the vintage effect. Also, in question was why the order had taken 90 days. I was told that an email was sent to let me know the order was complete. I never received an email. I felt I was getting the run-around. This morning Thursday 11/17/22 I called the store and spoke to Andrew. Andrew explained he worked in the back (?) and was 'helping out'. I asked to speak with someone other than Cassandra or Ginger. He said he would try to help. I ask he would confirm whether he was a manager or could make a decision on my order. Andrew confirmed he could not. So, I told him there was no use in me explaining my concern about the order if he was not able to remedy the situation. I explained the completed photos were awful. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to. He said there was no one. I asked for a name of someone other than Cassandra or Ginger. He explained there was no one else. I told him I was getting squashed, boxed-in and believed there had to be someone I could speak to. He reconfirmed there was no one. I asked if I could speak with Ginger, again. He explained she was not in, that he did not know when she would be in, and he could take a message but was sure when she would give me a call back. Maybe today, but he was not sure. Photographique's customer service is terrible. The treatment I've received so far has been condescending and dismissive. Cassandra, Ginger and Andrew appear to have tried to reduce my concerns by claiming there were no contemporaneous notes on the order about a vintage effect. Also, in regards to the order taking 90+ days and counting, that an email was sent to me to let me know the order was complete even though I have no email from Photographique in my email in-box. Also, I never received a phone call. I truly expected more customer service-oriented attention. Especially, since my original photo is 65 years old and I wanted it restored. Photographique has not met my expectations. I expected so much more. So far, I have been very disappointed and let down. Regards, Guy S. read more

I love everybody that works at this place and highly recommend it for anybody that loves photography looking to buy film or get film developed. They also rent out the space if you want to develop your film yourself. read more

Been using them for couple rolls of C-41 processing only, Portra and Ektar to be specific. I think they are certified Kodak lab, and the work is neat. Staff is very friendly. $5 per roll is reasonably price. There are cheaper labs you could mail to but not as comparable in terms of quality. Plus it's local and turn around time is great. Would continue to use and hope everyone could support photography business in town, especially film services. It's getting harder and I absolutely salute to whom are still insisting. read more

So I rarely leave reviews, but seeing as this is pretty much the only local lab, ill leave some feedback. They provide an overall decent service, but there are many better options out there. Ill start with the positives. They are very fast, took them 2 days to develop and scan 2 rolls of 35mm. Awesome, A+. Great place to go if you need your photos quick. Most of the staff is pretty friendly overall. As for the negatives (pun intended), they charge to develop blank rolls, which I dont really blame them for as its not their fault the rolls are blank, but some places either won't charge or will give you a discount of some kind. They are also very, very expensive. Cost me almost $80 for 3 rolls of 35mm with scans of the lower quality option and no prints. One of these rolls was blank so only two sets of scans for this price. The major online competitor developed 3 rolls of 35mm with much higher quality scans for and no prints for $50. This brings me to my biggest complaint; quality of the scans. In every one of my scans there is an error that manifests as white scratchy line going down or across the image. It ruins the image for printing purposes. I have confirmed this is not a film issue as I have rescanned the negatives with another service and this error was not present. My last point is this: store hours. I understand having weird hours is the latest trend for tiny shops, but the hours of this store are pretty odd. They open after most people go to work, and close before people get off. It makes it pretty hard to actually get to the store without getting off work early or going in late. The weekend hours are just as odd. If I owned a store I would have these hours if I was purposely trying to divert business from my store. Thats all. Thanks for reading. read more

Photographique is literally the one of the most amazing business experiences I have had. I I can't recommend this place more. They took the time to teach me everything about working in a darkroom again for the most nominal price- took the care and consideration with my work as if it was their own, which is so rare....and every little thing I did for an upcoming photography show would not have been possible without their amazing service and kindness. Photographique is the best photography experience I've had in a long time and I can not recommend this business more. If you use their services you will feel just as thankful for their amazing service as I was! don't know who wrote the one star review- but whoever did- its not at all true. Attempting to get into film photography but these folks used my ignorance on a few things to rip me off. They were misleading on prices up front and sent me home with $150 bill AND I didn't even end up with prints from the 35mm rolls I asked them to develop. Clearly the quality here is superlative but Costco would have charged $14 for the same amount... so this will no longer be a place I go to in the future nor a spot I would recommend. read more

With this being one of the only film processing businesses in my direct area since The Color Lab closed I've used them 4 or 5 times processing about 10 rolls of film that had strict deadlines. With that being said, I have never received such dirty film from any other processor, nor have I received such horrible customer service. I've had rolls with insane dust, scratches and one roll had odd lines as a result of poor processing. The dust and scratches is most likely due to the fact that I saw them bring my wet film out and lay it on their front counter to cut instead of cutting it ONCE DRY and in a clean environment. The gentlemen who does the processing also refused to cut a roll of 100% manual pinhole because he "doesn't cut work that's not done right"..? Every time I call or go in I feel as though every single person I interact with has a stick up their butt and an attitude my mother would slap me for. They are rude and incredibly condescending and treat others as if they're beneath them and unaware of what the photography industry even is. I've given them their fair chance, today will be the last day I ever pick up from from Photographique. If you're willing/able to mail your film out, Indie Film Lab in Alabama charges $8 flat (no pushing/pulling fees) and they're fantastic to work with! read more

I would not recommend this store. I went because of the review on yelp that praised their customer service. I needed an old photo restored and 2 duplicates. They quoted me $190. While they were making my quote the staff was bickering and being caddy towards each other. I thought the quote was a bit pricey so I took it to Arlington Camera. The service was much better, and impeccable work was done for $11.93. read more

Simply the best! Not sure about the other reviews claiming COSTCO is cheaper (do they even process film anymore?) but this is a place that certainly cares more about delivering a quality product. It's a family owned and operated business through and through, right down to the family dog as the greeter, so you'll feel right at home and your money will be well spent directly supporting a local business. They are somewhat pricey compared to pharmacies or mailing to a larger lab but the quality surpasses the price. I am new to film photography guys in there were super helpful when I had a minor mechanical issue with my camera even though they're not a repair shop. Quick turnaround time, great location with parking (rare for the area), and helpful customer service. I'd say it's worth the premium price! read more

One of the best experiences I've had at a store. I had an assignment for a film class due the next day and the store owners helped me step by step in the dark room to make sure I was printing everything correctly. When I first came in they said that I would have about an hour because I came an hour before they closed, which meant I would only be able to do a few prints. The owners stayed late and continued to help me and allowed me to finish my project. Both two of the sweetest people I've met. Everyone in the store definitely knows what they're doing in regards to printing. read more

Great customer service and the only place in Dallas that still develops b&w film. I have a really old rare camera and they were able to help me learn how to use the camera and showed me how to load and unload a roll of film that they gave me. I'll keep going back for the amazing service. read more
