I recently did a boudoir photo shoot with my sister and two close friends with Candy. I cannot say…read moreenough amazing things about the entire experience. I had been wanting to do a pinup-themed shoot for some time, but had talked myself out of it for several silly reasons. I wasn't comfortable with how my body looked, or my skin, or I wanted to lose a little weight first... And my friends shared the same sentiment. We all had conversations with Candy about our concerns, and she not only understood, but assured us that she could guide poses and positions to hide or accentuate anything we wanted. We decided to take advantage of one of her marathon shoots, so we could all go together and support each other. Candy takes every detail into consideration, from having mimosas and snacks, to door prizes, our favorite music playing in the background, and an idea of what we wanted our shoot to center around. She asked questions periodically up to the day of the shoot, so she knew our personalities, our favorite (and not so favorite) attributes of our bodies, and even our hobbies so she could suggest props or themes. She really blew us away with her attention to detail and her interest in the outfits or props we were choosing. She made me feel like we were close friends, which eased the slight anxiety I had. The location was relaxing and absolutely beautiful, and there were several options and rooms for different looks. I walked away from the experience feeling more connected to my friends, but more importantly, I walked away feeling sexy and attractive in a way that I can't describe. I felt empowered and beautiful and I feel that Candy captured all these emotions perfectly. She made feel comfortable in front of the camera, she was continually encouraging me, and she made me feel like a supermodel. The four of us decided on the way home that we will book another shoot with her again soon. I even ordered a calendar the day of the shoot at a discounted price, because I know I will want a keepsake of the experience. Aside from having stunning pictures of myself to look back on forever, I have the memory of an amazing girls' day out with a group of women who inspire me in different ways every day. Whether you're doing a boudoir shoot for your spouse or partner (or for yourself, like me!), or any of the other amazing options she offers (family, senior, engagement, etc) You'll never want to use another photographer. Candy pours her life into her work, and it shows in every little thing she does for you.

I reached out hoping to book her last minute for the next day. Gratefully, she made herself available. Our family is BIG with 11 people, including a 1 year old and our 16 year old special needs son. She handled our group with such grace. She was super flexible, patient and made the experience very pleasant and as stress free as it could be. My granddaughter was intrigued by her and kept reaching out for her. At the end of the session she picked her up and got lots of love from our little one. I haven't see our pictures yet but I am so happy with our experience thus far!

Just having him around on my wedding day was really calming and helped put me in a great mood, and that is more important than I realized. I didn't realize how very crucial it was to make sure I had a photographer who I really enjoyed being around, but think about it--he's there all day following you around! You really do need to love the person. And I did. Everyone did. I hate when I go to weddings and I get yelled at by the photographer--Steve is NOT that guy. His prices are very competitive and he does have packages, but you can just consider those suggestions or starting points. He'll work with you to give you whatever you want. I loved, loved, loved my photos! And he gave me ALL of the prints. All of them, which I think is amazing. He does both traditional and photojournalistic; he said photojournalistic is what he really loves to do, and it's what I had him do mainly. If you want your photos VERY artsy or modern, Steve might not be your guy. Then again, he might be--I think you could tell him what you want and he would do an awesome job with it.

She called the day before to confirm our reservation and was communicative with me about what she'd be bringing. I reserved the booth for 6:15-10:15 PM and was told that the booth would arrive an hour beforehand. It didn't arrive at 5:15, but I was told that was due to poor directions from the hotel staff as to the location of the ballroom. Upon arrival, the attendant had some problems with getting the printer to work, and it wasn't ready until close to 7:00 PM (we scheduled it for 6:15). Fortunately, we didn't have a real need for it before 7:00, she was able to get it to work, and we had a good time. She even extended her time with us, so I would rate her customer service as excellent. Disaster avoided! I would recommend that the equipment be in top working order before sending it to an event, however. It would have been disastrous if the photo booth hadn't worked!
