Dr Ray is absolutely amazing! She is very kind and thorough whenever our pack needs a check-up. Dr Ray is especially patient with our spicy Chihuahua. The team at the Center is always so patient with our dogs. I'm glad they are located close to our home, and I know my babies will always get the best care. Thank you all so much for all that you do! read more

I started coming here when we became new raw chicken owners (Sphynx cats). Started with Luna in 2021 and then Lila in 2023. From day one we have been treated with nothing but professionalism, compassion, and kindness. As I was a new pet owner I had lots of questions in which they would always patiently listen and answer in layman's terms. From the moment you step in then the front door to the actual visit in the exam room you and your pet will be treated with the professionalism you would expect from a medical facility. They accept care credit which helps and the appointment scheduler in their website is convenient and easy to use. I am glad we found Phoenix Vet Center and your pet will be as well!! read more

Thank you guys. The staff is always super helpful and kind. Anytime I take my dog here I always worry that it's going to be super expensive, and it always ends up being super reasonably priced instead. They treated my dog like it was theirs. Extremely grateful to have such a clinic in the south Phoenix area. Thank you guys again. read more

I have never written a review, but I think this is the one I felt I should do. I want to thank everyone who helped me out this day. She was taken in right away everyone from the (receptionist) the entire staff and Dr. were so helpful, so caring ,concerned, kind, loving and compassionate with my fur baby. They all came in and gave me a hug. After I had to make a very difficult decision of having to let go of my baby. they allowed me to take my time with her and say my goodbyes. They took care of her with such care and love and help me with the process of getting her cremated, , when I got her back in less than two weeks. I 1000% recommend this office to anyone. read more

Phoenix Veterinary Center - Veterinarians Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Place was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Took very good care of my puppy!

A few months ago my dog had to have surgery on his ear due to a hematoma. It was a rough recovery, as he was previously a stray and in a shelter, he has some reactivity issues. It was very difficult for me to care for him alone during the month after surgery. The staff at the Phoenix and Laveen clinics both were so accommodating. They would let me swing by and help me change his head wrap every several days. They were so patient. When he developed an abcess after the surgery, they spent hours with me and my dog to get him sedated and cared for. It was a very rough time trying to drain the abcess, because my dog fought hard through the sedation. Dr. Velasquez and the techs Dana and Bettina were so good with him through a really grueling ordeal, having to restrain him to drain the abcess. Dana and Dr. Velasquez both took extra time caring for my needs, too. I can't thank them enough for the competent, compassionate care they showed. I highly recommend them! read more

I want to thank Dr. Ware and his staff for their genuine empathy and concern, their expert care and professionalism. Dr. Ware and other Dr's in both the Laveen and Phoenix Vet Centers have taken care of all my fur babies. Just recently I had an emergency with my 14 year old Pug, Gertie and I waited 6 hours at an emergency vet hospital, and left when they said it would be another 2 hours wait, and I left. Called Dr. Ware the next Morning (Monday) and I had medication by Noon! He's a super star in my opinion. He really does care. read more

Always taking care of Prince and Romeo! Thanks staff at Phoenix Veterinary!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr Ware and his staffs are amazing. My big boy Cory was way too nervous than used to be during his first visit and previous experience. The whole team we met were very patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I forgot to ask the technicians name but just want to say thank you so much for all the hard work. Would highly recommend this vet for any animal lovers. Even though I have to drive 45 mins to get there. It was totally worth it because you'll get the best people and help. read more

I cannot express how wonderful this clinic is. I starting going to Phoenix Vet Clinic when I moved into the area in 2017 with my wheaten terrier Penny who was 8. My girl had quite a few health issues so we became quite the regulars. Dr. Baldwin is one of the most caring and knowledgable veterinarians I have ever experienced and I have been going to vets for various dogs I owned for the past 30 years. From Suzanne at the front desk to Terra and Julia two of the vet techs I guarantee you and your pet will be treated with the most experienced, patient, and loving staff in the area. My Penny has passed and I cannot thank the staff and Dr. Baldwin enough for all the care they gave my girl when she was here and when we had to let her go. read more

We moved to Phoenix about 3 months ago and were anxious to find a new vet for our three furry friends. Two of our dogs are senior dogs with some health issues, so as we expected we needed a vet appointment soon after arriving. The technicians and doctor at Phoenix Veterinary Center are amazing. We've been able to get appointments quickly and always have the most personalized detailed care. I feel like we hit the jackpot to find a group so caring and qualified to treat our pets. I highly recommend Phoenix Vet Center. read more

I want to say thank you to all the staff for the kind, caring and courteous service I received at the passing of my beloved little ShiTuz last week. I didn't have to do anything at the time, they made all the arrangements for his cremation and made the parting bearable and let me spend as much time as I needed to let go. When I picked up his ashes today, the staff again let me cry in their shoulder and provided hugs of caring and comfort. I was so touched at the thoughtful way my little boys remains were taken care of. I was given an imprint of his paw print, a lock of hair and a nice wooden box that contained the ashes. It so much more than I expected. Thank you for making such a horrible time much easier to get through. read more

Not too happy. I had my dog examined in June for her breath. The doc said she needed blood work in-order to to get her teeth cleaned. I came in the next day and got my dogs blood taken. They said the results would take about a week. No call after a week. No call after 2. I called to get the results and the tech said the doc needed to call me back. Never called back! That was in June. read more

It's great to find a good vet near you. We recently moved to baseline and loved Phoenix Veterinary Center. We have two little doggies so we needed a trustworthy vet center. It does sometimes have a limit on appointments but when we are seen it is always a good experience. read more

LOVE Phoenix Veterinary Center! They are very caring and loving towards our little Ellie. Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Ware are wonderful! As well as all the staff too. It's a small office, you can hear everything, I always hear them talking kindly and gently to the animals in the treatment area. I hear them talking to other owners, explaining treatments and procedures. Always being friendly and respectful. They really care- they do follow up phone calls and emails, show concern when Ellie isn't feeling well, and even squeezed us in just before closing on a busy Saturday. They go above and beyond and we appreciate them very much. Ellie's has been in for routine vaccines, upset tummy, itchy allergies, and a dental with an extraction. And every time we are there, the entire staff are absolutely wonderful. read more

When I got my puppers I took him to this place because it was walking distances from my apartment. I'm now in a house 20 minutes away and I will still take him here. The people are amazing and you can tell they love animals. Nestled in the strip along with Gallagher's is a hidden gem! Phoenix Veterinary is a step above the rest! Everyone there is friendly and compassionate. My severely anxious dog has been turned away so many times from so many area groomers including another veterinary office for nail clipping. This visit was not like all the other attempts. From the moment we arrived, Suzanne greeted us with a warm friendly smile and was reassuring to me while Tara and the team worked on my fur baby! The staff did such a phenomenal job. They were so patient and attentive to my little guy. I walked in anxious after being turned away from other providers. I walked out with a sense of sweet relief. We've found the provider to provide specialized care for my special boy! MANY THANKS to the team of Phoenix Veterinary!! read more

Julia at the front counter was super sweet to me and to Winston my dog. This place is extremely clean. Lobby and the exam room. Dr. Baldwin was awesome. She has a very good bed side manner with Winston. I was very comfortable with her approach. I've been to other places that were rude to me and my pets. I feel this place will be Winston's forever vet. Thank you to all the staff for a great experience for both Winston and I. read more

Phoenix Veterinary Center - I hate shots - Veterinarians Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

We've been in search of a new vet in our new neighborhood and decided to try Phoenix Veterinary because it was close and convenient. But from the first call they were more than convenient, the were kind, welcoming and really wonderful. Took the two dogs for the shots and every one was so nice and accommodating, and the dogs just loved all the attention. When it was time to pay the bill, I was equally pleased, prices were very reasonable! Great place, great people...definitely recommend!! read more

Well today was definitely one of the most traumatic days of my life. I had to take my cat mittens to the vet. She was suffering from something so long story short...I had her euthanized. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I held her as they did the injection and she took her last little kitty breath. Dr Baldwin and Tara were so amazing. Neither pressured me to do somethin unnecessary and I really appreciated that. They gave me options let me call and talk it over with my family and took it from there. They were very calm and gentile with both me and the cat. Treated us great and in this horrible turn of events I can't thank them enough for what they did for me today. They made this awful experience just a little better and that means the world to any pet owner. I know my other animals are in good hands. Thanks so much for the paw print. I'll never forget your kindness. read more

This vet is a really nice place. Clean and caring! My dog is elderly and they took the time with me. Best in the area!

I took my animal for treatment . They followed up about a week later and I advised them she was getting worst . The nurse that called said the vet would be returning my call they never got back with me . I don't recommend and would never ever take her again. Good Luck if you like taking chances with our loved pets. That episode was almost $300 and a lot of tears read more

We recently took our 8 week old puppy to Phoenix Vet Center for his first appointment. The staff was incredibly warm, patient, and in no rush at all. They answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Our puppy had an excellent first vet experience with Dr. Baldwin (and vet tech Tara!) and seemed a bit sad to be leaving at the end of the appointment. After the appointment we had some follow up questions, and they were answered through detailed emails and warm phone calls. We can not recommend them enough. read more

Brought our dogs in for initial visit (we just moved to Phx) and the vet tech (Rachael) and Dr. Baldwin were very nice and gentle with our girls. The office was nice with multiple exam rooms and the location was good for us (South Mountain area) and easy to find. I was glad we picked this vet! A week or so later one of our dogs became very ill with GI distress. I called right at 8:00 am on a Monday and they answered! (That would never happen for a people-doctor's office.) They told me to bring her right in. They took wonderful care of our dog, I could tell she was very comfortable with them, even though they had to do a lot of poking at her. We took our dog home later in the day and the vet tech (Tara is awesome!!) answered my panicked questions when our dog looked like she might be getting sick again and I called shortly before closing. Then Dr. Baldwin and Tara called me at the end of their day to check in on our dog to make sure all was well and then called again the next day. Their attentiveness is amazing - haven't had this level of service from a people-doctor in 30 years and never from a vet! Highly recommend! read more
